Can't see a May bus, so thought I'd start one up!

A little bit about me...

TTC: #1
Age: 28
Cycle: 5
CD: 5
AF/BFP due: 10th May

This cycle I'm making a real effort to take my pre-conception vitamins EVERY day and going to use Pre-seed this cycle too.

Come on in and share your stories, symptoms and if needed, vent to your heart's content...

MrsMck18, I see a very faint line too..let us know how you get on Tuesday!

Period due yesterday, not yet here. Will test on Wednesday if still nothing by then. Still seems so far away!

I’m feeling rough today, like I’m about to get a UTI. Really hope not, I could do without that. 7dpo and no symptoms at all.

How are you all today?

@Peachyx2505 my temp has stayed as high as yesterday but not gone up. Think I'll test with a frer on Tuesday or Wednesday if af doesn't get me by then. Not holding out hope though 😔 xx

10DPO and said I would POAS until I had real reason to (missed period) but I couldn't resist. BFN. Why do we do this to ourselves?? 😩

@louise190 I know I feel your pain ! Next month I’m definitely not ordering any tests in . I can resist the urge to poas much better if they are not in the house !

9dpo just poas even though I knew it would be negative, have no willpower!

@mrscatmad31 I’ve got a pack of amazon cheapies in my bedside table 😂 I think I need to leave them alone until at least tomorrow!

Held off another 4 days since last testing and another BFN so going to go to the doctor because since my implant removal things were going back to normal cycle and now getting longer as on CD39 after a 35 day cycle last month.. sigh!

@hopeandpray1988 how are your temps today? Mines a little lower then yesterday (0.04°c), not sure what this means being 10dpo.

6 days late for my period now.
Haven't tested for a few days, i hopefully have some Internet cheapies being delivered today so if they do come I'll do a test...
Has anyone else not had a bfp until they were over a week late for af? Or am i just clutching at straws?
I know when i ovulated so i am definitely 19dpo right now.

Think I am out for this month as very premenstrual and on holiday (already posted about this down thread) but annoyingly AF not here yet. I have all the usual symptoms though (sore swollen breasts/nipple hair/bad skin) so don't want to test and waste one of the two precious FRERs I bought on holiday. It sounds silly but I see FRERs as sort of magical, and it's like using one will break the spell as I've never done one before. Also - up until nearly AFTdate I was so tempted to test - but I know a BFN will be like a smack in the face with a wet fish. Going to hold out until at least tomorrow and tyr and enjoy the holiday.

@blowzylouella I don't have any experience of this, but hope it's good news for you, and that others can be more help. That must be so frustrating as you're kind of in limbo. When I first had coil taken out period was eight days late, but that was a negative, though other folk will know more?

@Novella12 Hello, I remember you from the April bus. It's so hard to not test isn't it, but a negative test is such a face slap that I am holding off. It also feels like a horrible waste of money (I am literally pissing it away.)

Why does time pass so slowly?!

@sleepyhead11 I hope you’re enjoying your holiday! I ended up testing this morning, at 8dpo and not with FMU. What a waste of money! Fortunately it was an ic. I totally get the negative test feeling. This one was better than last month’s negative, because I could tell myself it’s still early, but that hope is still always there and it’s so disappointing. I’ve been feeling weird yesterday and today too. Thought it was a uti coming but doesn’t seem to be.

Nothing new here....

I went to see my doctor lucky got a same day appointment because of irregular cycles and symptoms (compared to pre implant) and now on CD39 and thought nothing much would be said because it's only really month 3 of trying after implant removal.

She was brilliant, examined me physically so nothing obvious there and said for me to book in for a blood test at aprox CD21 on 1st day of my next period (when it comes) and if it doesn't come then she gave me another date to test on where HGC should be present if I am pregnant.

I feel so much more positive now - what a fantastic local GP I have and was so relieved not to feel like a pest.

@Peachyx2505 my temp was pretty much the same as the last 2 days. Up by 0.03.
I've had creamy cm that was stretchy today but not sure if that's an af sign or not. Last cycle my af came at 12dpo and was a shock being that early, was so sad. I'm already dreading Wednesday in case she shows.

So it begins again, I'm in my fertile period, due to ovulate on the 19th. I have some egg white stretchy mucus so who knows if it will actually come early. I have a few twinges so I'll start doing the opk tests tomorrow. I'll be amazed if I'm already due to ovulate as I only had my period 5th May and it finished last Friday. I'm on holiday in Greece at the moment so I'm trying to stay distracted, although it doesn't help that the wine is so cheap here! 🤦‍♀️🙈 I packed my opk's just in case... fingers crossed for those of you still waiting to take pregnancy tests, and to those who are starting, or due to start their tww! 🤞

Any advice guys... would you book to see your doctor or nurse about cycle lengths and conception etc? We've been trying for 10 months and I've been off the pill for a year.

@hopeandpray1988 maybe it depends where you are etc but I went to doctor yesterday as been having very strange symptoms and cycle patterns (for me) and not been trying anywhere near as long as you and got some really helpful advice and blood tests to follow if AF/BFP don't follow shortly.
