Can't see a May bus, so thought I'd start one up!

A little bit about me...

TTC: #1
Age: 28
Cycle: 5
CD: 5
AF/BFP due: 10th May

This cycle I'm making a real effort to take my pre-conception vitamins EVERY day and going to use Pre-seed this cycle too.

Come on in and share your stories, symptoms and if needed, vent to your heart's content...

This has some interesting stats - so clearly testing before 10dpo is a bit of a waste of time for most!! This encourages me to not do it.

Poor you glad your dp is being supportive! I've never paid attention to my gland during my cycle - i do get sore glands if i'm hungover though but maybe i'm putting them down to the wrong thing?! is it your throat glands?

Yes @mumofbun in my neck/throat, always in the run up to AF. I often start to get cold symptoms which go away again. It must be something to do with my immune system!

@Melina81 @Rubberyduck felt a bit off yesterday and felt a cold coming on, no real AF cramps but a BFN 2 days ago at 9dpo so wasn't expecting it really! Have had a lot of CM but that's about it

@Tamalama I wouldn't worry - I drank wine after my BFN at 9dpo and still got my positive today!

Fingers crossed it is OV day then! DP woke me up at some silly time this morning to DTD and will get in it again tonight 🤞🏻 even though MIL is staying tonight! 🙈

How do you feel?

I retested with OPK yesterday and the line was much fainter. Given that premom was only installed this month it has very little to work with in order to be accurate I guess. As do my other apps due to the mc in Feb. Hoping the darker line I had first was the tail end of lh and I have o before I tested. If that's the case I could potentially be around 4DPO Really don't know what to do. I have enough OPKs to keep testing just incase but I don't know if it's worth it. Do I keep testing with OPKs or do I wait it out??? Advice please xx

@mommato3 what cd are you now ?! And how long is you cycle usually ?

I'm on CD27 with an average cycle of 30 days and got bloating and occasional cramps so all the signs of AF arriving and now gotten stretchy but fairly thick white CM... never noticed that before at this stage! Wish AF would just hurry up if she's coming and go away again!!

@mylittlebunny good thanks :) think it's started to sink in now! I've been very bloated all day, much more so than normal which I guess must be the hormonal changes, also been feeling like I'm getting a sore throat although probably unrelated

@Renault5 I'm currently CD18. Before my mc in February I had a cycle of 26-29 days but last month it was 33. I retested again and it's a little higher. Would that be normal???

@mommato3 well you should ovulate around 14 days before your next period due so if you cycle if longer you would ovulate later. Now the LH surge does not happen for very long so you could tested when it was a little free the actual surge or you are just about to ovulate my best advise is to dtd every other day or everyday of you can haha

@Renault5 It's so confusing isn't it! Will retest with OPK tomorrow and see what that brings. Just don't get why there's be 2 surges so close together??? I'd love to bd more but he's knackered from work

Just to add to my list of symptoms but my veins on my chest and boobs are bright blue is this a thing? They've also swollen, but that's normal for AF. I'll test again tomorrow but expecting another BFN at 13dpo.

@tisonlymeagain The veins on my boobs seem really blue aswell, I was like, in sure I'm not normally this vein-y!
Stupidly did a test today, it was negative, no surprise there only 7ish DPO

Hi @Carley32. Welcome! Wow, how have you found your year? I'm only on cycle two and sure I should be committed!

I just asked my DP and he said they're not normally this blue  but I am full hormonal so I guess it's that @MrsC89 and oh don't worry, I've been testing since 6dpo

@tisonlymeagain just asked my DH, apparently he noticed a couple of days ago my boobs were looking veiny but didnt say anything as he was worried it would upset me. Bless him, probably would have cried tbh, very hormonal!
