Hi everyone 👋

Can't see a May bus, so thought I'd start one up!

A little bit about me...

TTC: #1
Age: 28
Cycle: 5
CD: 5
AF/BFP due: 10th May

This cycle I'm making a real effort to take my pre-conception vitamins EVERY day and going to use Pre-seed this cycle too.

Come on in and share your stories, symptoms and if needed, vent to your heart's content... Grin

10dpo and couldn't resist doing a FRER after having a dream about it. BFN Appreciate it's still early though so will leave it a few days now. Have been cramping for days, it's getting on my nerves. Think AF will show by Friday.

Melina81 · 29/04/2019 07:50

Crazy time has come to me: have been up for an hour, and googled "8 dpo no symptoms" cos im convinced i am not feeling anything, and then also googled a bunch of symptoms i *might be feeling 🤣 cant even decide i have symptoms or not...

mrssunshinexxx · 29/04/2019 08:24

Is iodine in folic acid sorry if silly ? I read this and panicked should I be taking something else or is this when you are pregnant if so does any one know what the best thing to take is when the time comes

May bus
tisonlymeagain · 29/04/2019 08:48

God @Melina81 I've been googling that every day... full nuts!

Melina81 · 29/04/2019 09:07

@tisonlymeagain at least im not alone 😂 when are you testing?

tisonlymeagain · 29/04/2019 09:14

Well apart from this morning... I'll probably test Wednesday. I'm out all day tomorrow so no time to really think about it but by Wednesday I'll be nuts about it again. Just ordered some ClearBlue for Wednesday. I don't trust FR at all because I tried several FR in the past and never got a positive and yet, the product of that is now a grumpy teenager!

MrsMck18 · 29/04/2019 09:18

I think something weird is going on with my body 😂.

Last month we weren't ttc and I did the OPKs just out of interest to see when my body was ovulating and if it was the same as my app etc and it was spot on.

Now this month we are TTC I am on cycle day 11 meant to ovulate on weds and my line on the opk isn't even faint. Sorry for TMI but I have also had a bit of bleeding after sex which has almost been like a period for a day again. Maybe my ovulation has completely changed this month and will be later? Typical that it is happening on the month we actually TTC.

Anyone else's ovulation all over the place? What day do people normally ovulate on?

mommato3 · 29/04/2019 10:47

Hi all. I'll re-join for May since April witch got me.

TTC: #4
Age: 39
Cycle: 3
CD: 16
AF/BFP due: 12-17th

I have 2 AF dates due to having a 33 day cycle last month when it's usually 26-29??? If it's a normal cycle it'll be closer to 12th if it's later it'll be around 17th. Trying not to obsess this month as last month was a real killer. Will likely wait til 20th to test unless I have proper symptoms. Oh, it's a long wait!!!!

mommato3 · 29/04/2019 10:54

This was last nights OPK however it was very late! Thinking O is close??? May try another today!!

May bus
Sleepyhead11 · 29/04/2019 10:55

@mommato3 hello, I'm cycle day 15 so by my calculation AF is due around same time for us. Should be 13th or 14th for me.

Sleepyhead11 · 29/04/2019 11:01

@mommato3 also, think waiting til 20th is a good idea. I might try and do the same, if nothing else it will save me money on PTs, and my periods can be a bit weird/late since having coil taken out though they seem to have stabilised last two months.

I know what you mean about it being hell obsessing. What distractions are you planning this month? I am going to really focus of doing lots of writing - going on holiday and keeping a travel diary, which I like doing, and also working on some short stories. Also going to read a lot, and try and do a lot of exercise. Oh, and I will really immerse myself in work, because I like my job a lot even if it is just customer service stuff.

Tamalama · 29/04/2019 11:21

@tisonlymeagain @Melina81 I am exactly the same! I'm constantly on Google! I'm driving myself nuts with every potential symptom, mood, twinge, etc 😂

Melina81 · 29/04/2019 11:43

@tisonlymeagain@Tamalama today's weird one: my gums and lips are swollen and throbbing 🤣 any other time of the month id pay zero attention to it, but today "hm i wonder if it could be a symptom" 😂😂😂 hopeless

mommato3 · 29/04/2019 11:49

@sleepyhead11 I had the coil removed last July and we got bfp in December which unfortunately ended in mc in Feb. My cycle was better after the coil came out than it has been since the mc!

As for distraction, I haven't really thought about it! I'm currently supposed to be cleaning like a maniac but so cba! We're away with the kids the weekend so that will take away the issue briefly. Think I'll throw myself into knitting as I have a blanket that needs finishing and a good book perhaps. Anything that will pass the time. Hoping I can wait til 20th as I still have tests left over!

I have managed to read all the thread and although I can't remember who's said what I can remember what has been said so, to those who have have had mc, I'm so very sorry, been there in Feb and know how shit it is. The lady who lost twins - so very sorry. How heartbreaking for you Sad

The lady who thinks on a Wednesday, today I should have been x weeks, me too sweet. Should have been 23 weeks this coming Wednesday and I too find this whole TTC annoying as yes, we shouldn't be here! Hugs.

The lady who broke down on her husband bc she felt he found her less attractive when it matters, hear ya! You're not alone hun. Hugs.

The bfp lady, huge congratulations you lucky bugger!

Apologies if I've missed anyone! It's a long thread and I'm supposed to be cleaning not obsessing Hmm Oh well!
Good luck to those in the TWW. I'm currently trying to keep occupied while I decide whether or not to see if today's OPK brings a positive or not.... To test or not to test lmao.

I need to keep a rein in myself to make sure I don't get obsessed again! Luckily we've been quite busy dtd this month so fx. Time will tell and I can't control it so.....

Good luck all xx

BowiesJumper · 29/04/2019 11:57

@mommato3 That OPK looks very close! I'd be getting busy if I were you! Grin

mumofbun · 29/04/2019 11:57

I feel queasy today - this has to be a sign right Hmm nothing to do with the bad food over the weekend!

tisonlymeagain · 29/04/2019 11:59

Someone talk me down Confused just about to go out on my lunch break and I KNOW I will be drawn to buy a PG test, even though I did one this morning FFS. 10dpo. I have ordered some ClearBlue to come from Amazon on Wednesday which I will try not to use until Friday, but I'm addicted to POAS even though I know it's going to be negative but part of me is still surprised every time as I convinced myself this would be my month, which is ridiculous as it's cycle 1. Talk about being impatient!

mommato3 · 29/04/2019 12:00

@BowiesJumper I thought so too. We've been busy last 2 days GrinWink

May try another test today.... still undecided in my attempt to not obsess!!!

tisonlymeagain · 29/04/2019 12:07

@Melina81 @Tamalama my symptoms in the past few days have been cramps, backache, sore boobs, constantly erect nipples ha, weird mouth taste, headaches, moody, emotional, nausea, hot flashes, smelly wee....

KittenMittens1 · 29/04/2019 12:24

Ahh I need to join Please

Age: 25
Cycle: 4
AF Due: 3rd / 4th May
TTC: No 1

I ovulated around 16th - 18th of April. so trying to wait until my AF is due before I do a Test.

Although I went on an all inclusive holiday with 15 mates last week and drank wayyyy to much. Shock

KittenMittens1 · 29/04/2019 12:26

Also should mention no real symptoms as of yet, other than my belly feeling swollen and loads of spots! Sad but i've been putting that down to very poor diet on holiday.

BowiesJumper · 29/04/2019 12:30

@tisonlymeagain I've been there! I've heard superdrug own brand tests are good for early detection. But if I were you, I would wait until first pee tomorrow (if you can!). Good luck.

AfterTrentham · 29/04/2019 12:30

@kittenmittens1 I conceived DC1 on honeymoon, having fully taken advantage of the all-inclusive bar package. He's fine Grin

mommato3 · 29/04/2019 12:36

Well today's OPK seems lighter so wondering if the peak was yesterday as the test was done near enough midnight so was reducing again. Would that make sense? I dunno

KittenMittens1 · 29/04/2019 12:39

@AfterTrentham haha well theres still hope haha.

Not sure really when to test, 11 DPO at the moment is that too early?
