Can't see a May bus, so thought I'd start one up!

A little bit about me...

TTC: #1
Age: 28
Cycle: 5
CD: 5
AF/BFP due: 10th May

This cycle I'm making a real effort to take my pre-conception vitamins EVERY day and going to use Pre-seed this cycle too.

Come on in and share your stories, symptoms and if needed, vent to your heart's content...

Fingers crossed for you too @Tamalama. Half of me feels it will be too early so I'll not be too despondent if I get a BFN, not out until AF shows!

Yep, that's how I feel too @tisonlymeagain 😊 I go away on holiday on 9th May for two weeks, so I'd like to know before then either way! Af is due on the 6th so I guess I'll pretty much know by the 9th. I don't really want to take pregnancy tests whilst I'm away, so if I am out this month I would prefer it to be by the 9th!

@Tamalama & @tisonlymeagain I'm also testing on Wednesday (provided AF hasn't come - fingers crossed!!) lots of baby dust to you both!! What tests are you using? I'll be 15dpo then so hoping it won't matter but may get a FRER too.

The past two days I've been really tired, bloated, had more CM than usual and breaking out in spots on my chin which never happens. Trying not to SS but I don't remember this leading up to past AFs. Hard to tell what my 'new normal' is because I've only my been off the pill since Jan.

I was just ridiculous. Ovulation day (by my predictions) so after trying subtly to entice DP I ended up telling him, then bursting into tears because he 'doesn't find me attractive at the right time of month.' We have had sex now, but he thinks I am being irrational, and I feel like a complete monster for having pressured him. It was completely unfulfilling and I just feel like I'm wrecking this relationship. I asked him after if he'd come to see sex as another chore, like cleaning, and he said 'no,' but I don't know if I believed him.

God, I'm mental.

How are you all doing? Please can you advise on how to be less crazy. I feel we are on a deadline for this, as I have gone off my immunosuppressants to ttc, and every time I see Rheumatology they tell me I will need to go back on them eventually due to long term damage of being off.

I hope all going on holidays have lovely hols. We're going 7th - 19th May too, so hoping to try and relax then.

Please be gentle not judgey. I am on brink of tears.

@MeganMama28 I've got the fast response one and the clear blue ones (but not the digital as I believe they're not as sensitive) I'll only be 9dpo so I'm hoping I'll get a bfp, even though it's highly unlikely it'll be that soon. Last time around I got it at 14dpo but who knows.

@EC418 I'm so bloody sorry to hear about your MC. Can't imagine how tough that must be.

@Sleepyhead11 thank you. One of the hardest things ive been through but DH, family and friends have been so supportive. X

@EC418 it's good you have supportive people round you, I hope things are better this time round. My mum had an MS and would still say things like 'they would be x age now' every so often, so I don't think it ever leaves you, but the pain gets less.

@Sleepyhead11 yes, every wednesday is another week i would have been pregnant and still find myself counting but pain is getting less as weeks go on. X

@Sleepyhead11 i was really touched by your comment on how you feel.. dont be so hard on yourself :) this is a mind wrecking process we're going through, and you're so brave for giving up on the medicine on behalf of ttc..
i understand what you are saying with regards to dtd becoming a chore, and it can at times take a toll on the relationship, but also try and remember you are both in this journey together, and it is ok to rely on him for support :)

Unfortunately there isnt much i can say that can be of any help, as im not one to say "relax" or " it will happen " , but what i can tell you is: youre not alone on how you feel through this journey, and you can always turn to people like us, who are going through similar paths.. we wont be able to lighten the journey , but we can at least walk together :)

Im 4dpo today and have a fair bit of clear goopy cm(TMI) . Not normal for me at all though.. . Few twinges here and there too.... Why is the tww so painfully slow haha!?
Cycle 6 of trying so fingers crossed x

Checking in for the first time. I'm 32, one child aged 4 months (!). Keen to have a small age gap so we are going to take the plunge and stop using contraception over the next few days. Last AF was 16th April but I have short cycles so I think I'll be ovulating in the next couple of days. I may well miss this egg - we only decided to start TTC again today! But here goes nothing...

I didn’t think of using them if cycles aren’t regular but that makes sense! I guess I’m taking my regular cycles a bit for granted!!

That’s really interesting what your doctor friend said! I’m 11 dpo now so hopefully any symptoms I spot now are real signs of early pregnancy 😂

@blowzylouella hey i am in my 6 th cycle ttc as well !!! It feels so long haha I am now 2 dpo and feel pretty good but will see next week how things goes I usually get crazy after the first week haha

Hey Girls, I tested today and it was negative! I have been gutted today and I'm not even sure why. But hey ho xx

@dolryo5 how many dpo are you? Sorry to hear it's negative but it may be too early!

@tisonlymeagain same! Absolutely fuming today, af is here but normally I've calmed down by now

@MrsMck18 Thanks for your message. I am 9 dpi. Trying to stay positive but don't think it is our month.

@dolryo5 it's still really early if you can't wait for your due day maybe test at 12dpo.as it's more likely to show if it's a positive!

@EC418 I'm sorry for your loss, I totally understand how you feel. I found out on New Year's Eve we were expecting and by the first week in February I'd had a mc. I kinda resent having to do the tww and it makes me angry because I should still be pregnant with the baby we conceived in December 😕 if that makes sense? Here's hoping for our bfp's very soon x
