Hi everyone 👋

Can't see a May bus, so thought I'd start one up!

A little bit about me...

TTC: #1
Age: 28
Cycle: 5
CD: 5
AF/BFP due: 10th May

This cycle I'm making a real effort to take my pre-conception vitamins EVERY day and going to use Pre-seed this cycle too.

Come on in and share your stories, symptoms and if needed, vent to your heart's content...

Girls I need some advise or reassurance. I am now on cd 12 and got another negative opk ?! Should I worry ? I am scared I am not ovulating this month or am I been impatiente ?!
Sorry I just have a freaking out moment

@Renault5 I wouldn't worry, I didn't get a positive until CD 18 this month :) how long are your cycles normally?

@renault5 I don't get positives until CD 15 so dont worry! :)

@Tropicana1 I have 27 days cycle sometimes shorter but very occasionally ...

Ok thanks I will keep on checking then and see. I feel very bloated today though which is usually one of the signs for me ..:

How many days is your cycle ?

@Sleepyhead11 mine are 28 days long exactly, with ovulation on day 14. Variance on this seems way more ‘normal’ but mine fit the basic biology textbook cycle perfectly. Except for the whole part of that same lesson where I thought if I so much as looked at a boy I would get pregnant 😂

@renault5 28 days, Im pretty regular too so I O on the same day and my periods rarely late. Im sure that will all change haha.

@limesoda thank you, I have a feeling I might be the same. @McHelenz and @Renault5 maybe we're the same? Have been dtd on day 14 for last two months with no luck though, but maybe just timing on day?X

@sleepyhead1 this is my first cycle but as you've probably seen its been a bit difficult emotionally. We've DTD CD 10, 11 and 16. I got a static smiley on CD 15 . But it says that you can get 6 days so I think DTD any time in the run up is good .

@Sleepyhead11 I have to applaud you for taking the time to write that epic post 👏🏼 I don't have experience with any other apps I'm afraid. Flo has always been spot on for me, but the last 2 cycles my O date changed and I missed days when I should have DTD! I blame myself for putting in every little daily symptom I had, I think I confused it tbh!!
i think some apps you have to pay for. Flo is free unless you want to upgrade to a premium account 👍

Also, to answer your CM question, when you are very close to ovulating it becomes clear and watery. You tend to get egg white CM a few days before you ovulate. I've posted a fancy little chart that may help ☺️

Ladies, I’ve caved and ordered an Ava Bracelet 😬 I hope I don’t regret my purchase. With AF appearing so early and being so uncharacteristic of my usual AF, which has now messed up my predicted Ov dates as they’ve all changed I’m going to give Ava a go

@Sleepyhead11 maybe it is a possibility .
I have been dtd every 2 days since day 7 of cycle so I hope not to miss on the ovulation window. It is so hard to understand the body is such a strange thing that is so unpredictable. I which we could see what happens inside haha would be so much easier !!!

Im hoping to notice a change in my cervical mucus any day now. The bleeding has now completely stopped following my miscarriage and I think the cervical mucus will be the best indicator for me.

I bought alot of OPK the other day and have been using them since the bleeding stopped.

I hate not knowing what is going on in my body. I dont know my AF due date or my ovulation date.....so its frustrating.

Evening all,

AF finished yesterday for me so looking forward to start doing OPKs by the end of the week. I'm on CD 6 atm.

Auntie Flo is due 16th May. This is my first cycle so not putting out much hope.

I'm on 2WW @MrsMck18 and it's draaaaaaaagging. 5dpo today. AF due 3rd May. Am having major AF symptoms so not feeling positive.

@tisonlymeagain I will keep everything crossed with you. What cycle are you on?

May bus has been very busy the last couple of days I'm trying to catch up!

@Renault5 I had the same last month but apparently it was because I was drinking too much water before doing the OPK which gives a false negative? DTD every two days sounds like a good plan try not to worry I know its easier said than done - I feel like I'm always worrying!

@MrsMck18 I'm in the TWW and a fortnight has never felt this long!

@tisonlymeagain I'm 8dpo today, AF/BFP 1st May so we're not too far apart. I've not had any symptoms for either so not sure what to think ☹️ sending BFP wishes your way hopefully we will both be pleasantly surprised next week ❤️

Cycle 1 @MrsMck18 so I think it would be extremely lucky, especially as just came off the pill in March.

@Renault5 average around 29 day cycles very occasionally up to 31, but I have fairly short luteal phases of around 10-11 days rather than the textbook 14 so a later ov date isn't unusual for me!

@tisonlymeagain I've got 6 days left on my pill and then AF will arrive. May will be my first month non-pill. How was yours? I've been on the pill for 5 years so I'm not really sure what my natural cycle is like!

Hi girls, my first post ever on mumsnet (or any other forum), hoping it is not too late to join but found this thread yesterday and have been glued to the posts since, so felt brave enough to join :)
On my 3rd month ttc #1, but a lifetime ago tried for 18 months with no luck. Im aware of a few little problems with my body which will make getting pregnant a bit hard, so trying to take each day as it comes really..
