I desperately need some TTC buddies. We've just started trying for no.3 and we haven't told anyone. I'm bursting but with no one to talk to. I realise this makes me sound like a total sap

Hopefully @dizzy85 since Feb but I’ve only ovulated once since then, stress at work and coming off the pill last August seem to have had a real impact on my cycle.

How early do you guys reckon is okay to start testing PO? I know I should wait for 14 but do you think I’d have any luck 10dpo? The tww is killing me Angry

@DNAshelicase that sounds frustrating. I started testing at 10DPO this time with a FRER, I'm terrible for waiting any longer. Fingers crossed for you.

@LuciBee I did post loads so wouldn't surprise me if you missed some 😂🙊 So I lost the plot with OPK tests, as we were dtd every day & I did tests everyday. I then gave up as I assumed I'd missed ovulation - got cramping on CD21 so did one and it was a blazing positive (soooo late for me) We quickly dtd that day but only once as I got thrush 😩 (sorry TMI) I was so confused as my cycles are bang on 27 days so it just didn't make sense. Long story short I'm now pregnant 5+3. I was already 4 days late for AF 10DPO. The spotting could definitely be ovulation spotting as I usually get it! Sorry this is so long just wanted you to know I was so confused like you, but could still be your month! 😂 x

@MrsM18 that does sound v.similar!! we DTD the day before not the actual day that i got the peak opk though, which is annoying. i had cramping on my right side on the day i got that peak opk too, i'm defo putting the spotting down to ov.

...congratulations as well if i havent already said it! Are you feeling nervous about having 2? it scares the bejesus out of me!

Right well guess I'm on my tww then, af should be due around next weekend i suppose?!

Recommendations for a basal body thermometer? Or OPKs?

I'm 7/8DPO and I just have a feeling this isn't my month so I think I need to look at ways to more accurately plot ovulation. Trying to stay relaxed about it in the interest of my sanity and relationship but struggling to understand! Any tips are most welcome! ConfusedSad

@Louise190 i use the cheap opks from amazon, think they are called one step? i find them accurate, i used them when ttc the first time round and they didnt fail me! I have never temped so not sure on that one.

@LuciBee I've just found them and they're available on prime! I'm so conscious of falling down the testing hole but it's driving me insane not actually knowing when is best so fingers crossed this will just make things easier.. I'm most probably being naive I know!!

@Louise190 at least you'll know when the best time to be on top of your DTD game is! It will help you to get to know your cycles too. It's just nice to understand whats going on in there! ...they will have you addicted to peeing on them though lol. i usually start doing them from cd13/14 and usually get my peak on cd15/16... not this month though kept me guessing and wasting sticks until cd23! Had i not done the opks i would have definately missed it this month!

@LuciBee omg really?! I always get some cramping around the time the app says I should be ovulating so I'm hoping that's what it is! The tests will tell! Do you do one test a day? I'm actually excited to pee on them 😂

@Louise190 when my app says i'm in my fertile week i usually do one in the morning and one in the evening, they can change that quickly! sometimes ive done one in the morning and nothing and then have a peak in the evening.

@DNAshelicase i got a BFP on a cheap test on 10DPO with my first pregnancy. 11DPO on an FRER. Have you tested yet? i would have so caved by now!

Looks like this isn't my month Sad was kinda getting some crazy symptoms today nausea, headaches etc but I've just gone to the loo and ... spotting ... I'm sure this is AF deciding to appear tomorrow! 3 days early! I'm never early!!! Grrr so annoying oh well onwards and upwards!

@LuciBee I caved last night Grin BFN though so I’m feeling really gutted, I really thought I was pregnant Blush

I’m 11DPO now so I dunno if that’s me out now, is it possible for a BFP to appear now even if there was no hint of one yday? It was a clear blue test yday if that makes any difference!!!

Does anyone you track heart rate as well as opks?? A PP mentioned resting heart rate and I wondered how it worked!? I’ve been recording my temp and I haven’t noticed much of a difference tbh

I know I said I really feel like this month is not my month but I've been getting discharge the past day or so and I don't usually get any at this time of the cycle. I'm also getting fairly light cramps. I am about 9DPO!?

@MrsM18 That's amazing! Will you be asking for an early can, do you think?

@Louise190 I only use the One Step OPKs (which are pretty reliable IMO). I don't do temping or anything else. I get ovulation pains so know when it's happening anyway. You might like to do a test tomorrow or Sunday.

@Jonesydocandjr Sorry May hasn't turned out to be your month :( Maybe June will be the one?

I'm 3DPO and trying to stay busy...

I’m 4dpo and have had spotting since 2dpo... what’s that all about?! A couple of rather nasty headaches too... but nothing else apart from that!

@LuciBee could the spotting be from ovulation? I'm 3DPO and have a tugging sensation on my ovary. It hurts :(
