LoveAngel - I've never tested in my life before but felt lucky today. Wish I had sat on my hands as I got a BFN.

But I'm not due until Friday either so maybe it's all just a bit early.

I've suddenly started feeling really pre-menstrual. Don't think this month is going to be my month :-(

Have tested twice, both BFN but still no AF. I think I'm going a bit mad....

af due fri (ish) but should have been yesterday byy when i think i oved. peed on stick bfn keep oin kidding myself that it was to early and that the cramps im having are not af. madness

I'm exactly the same spugs! So crampy today but keep thinking 'well I was crampy when I was PG and thought it was AF so maybe....'

Having just come off the pill I don't know when my AF is due but working on ovulation date I think probably next Friday - that's 9 days away - yet I'm already wanting to test!! I have no willpower!!!

I know i keep on saying to my self that i may have tested a few days to early etc. bloomin madness isnt it

Pink (its NikkiBFG btw)- I tested twice when was on hols when TTC DS....both were negative....got back home and still no AF so tested about 4 days after AF due date and only then did I get a positive.....so....still hope!

V encouraging about the BFN post holiday. Am holding on and keeping legs, toes and fingers crossed but trying not to get hopes up too if that makes sense.

Really hope you get lucky....thing is...even though I had implantation bleed, I just thought my period was buggered up from being on hols...didn't even think I was PG!! Looking back on it, maybe the light should have started to dawn on the flight home when the cheapy airline ran out of sandwiches and I was so angry that the kid in front of me got the last sandwich and left half of it as was pretty hungry!!! lol!

ooh gotta go - DS is awake and needs his mid pm snack!

Blimey ladies, I am in awe of your restraint! AF not due til Monday and I bought a load of cheap internet tests and do one every morning already (started about a week after ov as 'felt' pregnant!) I KNOW that I'll get a BFN, but I just can't help myself. (I blame using the wee on ovulation predictor tests, I feel like part of my morning routine is missing if there's no weeing on sticks!)

Got my 3rd BFN this morning but still no AF!

sorry ellie - maybe the tests are not accurate enough to pick up low levels.. Monday may bring good news

I am DEFO not testing again until Mon so don't get too disappointed if and when AF comes.

Has anyone else on this thread tested yet? Any good news? On this gloomy day I could do with something to cheer me up..

Can't help you there. Could do with cheering up myself - trying to avoid doing meaningful work by being on MN.

I tested with clear blue when I still had 2 days until AF was due. Then I convinced myself they were BFN because I tested too early. I tested again the day after AF was due and still got BFN. I really don't know why I bothered because I'd only just come off the pill and wasn't sure of cycle length anyway. Now I have AF and will be BDing for the next 3 weeks and then will probably test too early again!!! I feel better knowing that I am not alone though. Good luck and baby dust to everyone.

Hello everyone - so glad to find you as I'm new to all this and thought I was a bit odd for having thought about nothing but testing all day!

First month of trying for me and AF due on Tues, so this is my first ever month of wondering if I'm pregnant and actually wanting to be (as opposed to the occasional slips where you are really hoping you're not!). I just bought some of those tests that you can do up to 4 days before and wondering if I can stop myself testing tomorrow morning even though I know it's likely to be negative. My problem is I don't like not knowing things so really want to know as soon as possible!!!!

HolidayQueen - we're in the same boat! It's my first month off the pill and have just bought the first response tests which are apparently 4 days before AF - unfortunately not really sure when AF is due since I've just come off the pill.. how did you work yours out?

Hi toomuchtimeonline (love your name - wish I'd thought of it first!)
I came off the pill a year ago so have been using diaphragm since then. Before I went on the pill they were once every 3 weeks and/or no period for 3 months (was diagnosed with PCOS) so I wanted to give myself plenty of time off the pill to see if they became more regular. For the last 3 months I've actually remembered to write down my period start date and they amazingly have been regular every 30 days (v. happy about that!) so have fair confidence in Tues being the day it is due.
EllieG - my plan is to try and forget tomorrow morning until after I've been to loo and then I'm away over weekend so won't take tests with me. So at least that should get me through to Monday without testing
