5 DPO+ - symptoms..?

Daydreamer71 · 21/03/2019 13:34

Hi, thought I'd invite anyone who is 5DPO plus to see how you're getting on. Anyone getting any weird 'symptoms'? I'm overanalysing everything that my body is doing so just interested to hear others views really! I'm 7 DPO.

Over the past few days I've had on and off dull ache in lower belly, on Monday I had bad stomach cramps & diarrhea, on and off fatigue etc. And my boobs are a little tender today but it's not as bad as period boobs.

I know some say it's too early to tell etc. and I get that but for this thread I'm really just looking for anyone to share their current experiences and any 'symptoms'

Aw sheep, sounds tough Sad it’s hard to say. Have you used opk’s before and got a positive? Are you using the ones that are a flashing smiley for a few days before becoming a static smiley? And if so did you get the flashing smiley? Sorry lots of questions! It could be implantation bleeding, but I guess only time will tell whether it turns into full on af bleeding. It all messes with your head doesn’t it...

Millie2008 · 01/05/2019 22:00

Ballsdeep - that is really strange then. My cycles are really regular (slightly different lengths each month but af always arrives 14 days after ovulation) and id be really confused if I was 2 days late- how bloody frustrating. Are you still getting symptoms or do you feel af-y? Obvs keeping everything crossed af stays away. And that goes for all of you here awaiting af...

Millie2008 · 01/05/2019 22:04

And Kiza just wanted to say I massively admire your strength in not testing before your af, particularly given you have a longish cycle - you have some serious willpower! Def the right decision to hand over tests to DP!

ballsdeep · 01/05/2019 22:14

I am absolutely exhausted, but I don't know if it's due to Mt first week back in work after easter. My boobs feel full but not overly sore and I am getting painful twinges in my cervix. I feel sick throughout the day, esp in the pm so I really don't know!!! I don't want to keep buying tests as they are so expensive!

Sheep90 · 01/05/2019 22:19

Thanks Millie Smile this is only cycle 2 of TTC so all quite new. This is the first month of using OPKs (just Internet cheapies) and the strongest result I had was just after AF finished. The bleeding does seem to be less than AF at the moment and hasn't warranted a tampon. This is definitely unlike my normal periods, just not what I expected from implantation bleeding. I guess I've never experienced it before so don't know what my body's doing!

Sheep90 · 01/05/2019 22:21

Ballsdeep- I know what you mean about buying tests. It's getting addictive and it's hit me that this is the first time in my life I've failed a test of any kind Hmm

Makinbaconpancakes · 01/05/2019 22:43

Is anyone awake ? Need advice urgent .... Sad

ballsdeep · 01/05/2019 23:03

I am, hope you're ok

Makinbaconpancakes · 01/05/2019 23:16

I have been feeling rough all day, just generally feeling crappy, dull achy stuff, fell asleep on the sofa when I got in from work and then at about 9pm I started feeling so sick it's unreal, went to the toilet and I've got pink discharge (sorry tmi)

I'm panicking, I feel so ill and achy - I had a bfn yesterday so it's not that SadSad what could it be ? Not due af for 7 days

Lammoshay · 01/05/2019 23:41

Makinbaconpancakes it could be implantation bleed just keep an eye on it and try not to worry x

Makinbaconpancakes · 02/05/2019 06:24

If it is implantation, how long will it be before a bfp ?

I've woken up with cramping, like the horrible cramping just before af arrives but I'm not due for a week yet

I feel really sick too but that could just be anxiety

Sheep90 · 02/05/2019 07:15

Pancakes--I'm in the same situation as you. I have my fingers crossed for you

Makinbaconpancakes · 02/05/2019 07:53

@Sheep90 and for you too !

Went to the toilet this morning and it's brown discharge today, still cramping but did a test and it's still bfn

Nervous, excited and anxious all at the same time !

Sheep90 · 02/05/2019 08:12

@makinbaconpancakes I'm still bleeding too. Much, much lighter than my period but still warranting a pad. 10 days early for me.... I don't want to give up hope, but equally I'm spotting every single symptom, just because I'm hoping they're there. No cramps this morning, and the bleeding feels somewhat intermittent. Not the full on whoosh of AF which gradually gets lighter across the week. I have such a swimmy head though, I feel hungover but I haven't had alcohol in weeks and I'm well hydrated Confused

Makinbaconpancakes · 02/05/2019 08:41

@Sheep90 it's driving me insane it really is !

My boobs aren't as sore as they have been, but cramping definitely there / but not as bad as af cramps

I'm sure I never had all of this with my first two pregnancies, I've had two mmc since them so I'm so on edge about it happening again

Hopefully we both get bfp soon !!

ballsdeep · 02/05/2019 12:36

Well I'm just going to think I've missed ovulation this month. I have taken another test and I was due in 28th or 29th and still negative
I'm thinking that I just didn't ovulate and I'm going to try again this month xxx

tisonlymeagain · 02/05/2019 12:49

Hmm @ballsdeep, I'm not sure whether I missed it too. I got a positive OPK but I am not temping so that doesn't mean I ovulated, does it? My PMT symptoms kicked in about 6-7 days past suspected ovulation though, so I am thinking it DID happen but not necessarily when I thought as AF is due tomorrow and while I still have full PMT symptoms, I don't feel that it's necessarily going to happen tomorrow.

I think I'm going to start temping when AF comes.

Kiza · 02/05/2019 13:48

Wow, sounds like lots of us are having unusual cycles this month. Really hope there's so more happy news in our group in the following days ☺️
Try not to get too down everyone, our bodies are strange bloody things at times especially when we are focusing on them so much. I reckon all this weirdness happens often but we're just not aware

Af has appeared which I'm relieved about I have to say. I must have ovulate later that what I thought.
I'm just going to try again next months and not symptom spot. It drives you crazy and its so weird how your body can show all the signs of pregnancy including sickness!!

Millie2008 · 04/05/2019 00:52

Aw, sorry to hear that ballsdeep - but at least you can start trying again now! Totally agree about symptom spotting - our body’s play some crazy tricks Sad feel free to stick around and let us know how you get on! Smile x

Kiza · 04/05/2019 19:20

@ballsdeep sorry to hear that, think I may be in the same boat this month. Little bit of brown spotting and I just don't 'feel pregnant' this month.

Makinbaconpancakes · 04/05/2019 19:35

@ballsdeep sorry to hear that

I'm not sure what's going on with me tbh, af due in 4 days, I've had brown discharge since Wednesday, but test yesterday was negative Hmm

I'm over thinking everything, like I felt sick this morning but my boobs don't ache as much as they were before, but I've got other niggles I wouldn't normally have

I starting to think it's better to not actively TTC but to just forget about it and let things happen as and when without thinking about it constantly, easier said than done tho

Millie2008 · 04/05/2019 20:39

Aww sorry Kiza :-( Af's due on tuesday for you right?

ballsdeep · 04/05/2019 20:50

I just can't believe how much your body can play tricks when you want something so much. I'm hopefully not going to symptom spot next month and just hope for the best . Everything happens for a reason though and I think that if I didn't catch when I did for my other two then I would have had different children and not them.
Fingers crossed for everyone xxx
