5 DPO+ - symptoms..?

Hi, thought I'd invite anyone who is 5DPO plus to see how you're getting on. Anyone getting any weird 'symptoms'? I'm overanalysing everything that my body is doing so just interested to hear others views really! I'm 7 DPO.

Over the past few days I've had on and off dull ache in lower belly, on Monday I had bad stomach cramps & diarrhea, on and off fatigue etc. And my boobs are a little tender today but it's not as bad as period boobs.

I know some say it's too early to tell etc. and I get that but for this thread I'm really just looking for anyone to share their current experiences and any 'symptoms'

@Millie2008 yeah but I often get brown discharge a couple of days before. Last month I just 'knew' I was pregnant whereas this month I just 'know' I'm not. Which is cool as it would've been a slim chance we got pregnant this month anyway, next month we are on it with DTD! 🤪
Sorry @ballsdeep @Makinbaconpancakes You're both right that it's so bloody tough trying not to think about it and getting frustrated not knowing one way or the other.

Go for it Kiza, ha ha! are you one of the ones trying to do the “smep” method? Still not sure I know what that is tbh... 🤔

@Millie2008 after reading up on it after someone mentioned it on this thread we are going to give it a go. The other half and I have been a bit lax with TTC, so we said next month we will DTD every other day starting from CD 5 (as I ovulate early) up until 3 days after a positive OPK.
He's gonna be one happy dude with that much loving! 😂 let's see how I manage it 🤦🏼‍♀️

I had a spot of blood 7 Dpo and now at 11DPO I've had awful backpain, I'm exhausted, craving sweet and salted popcorn, and I've been feeling rather ill. I feel as if someone ran me over! My pregnancy tests are not clear so I'm waiting until Wednesday, the day after my expected period.

So AF showed up for me this morning which was to be expected. How's everyone else getting on?

Aw Kiza sorry to hear that; but sounds like you’re feeling positive about cracking on with this next cycle your plan sounds fab (if not a bit exhausting!) and yes, you have one lucky fella! would be great to hear how you get on next month - stay in touch!
Af not shown still - will be a week late tomorrow. Also did a couple more tests- line ones looking really dark and digital said “pregnant 2-3” a few days ago. So cautiously hopeful that this isn’t another chemical. However, it’s bringing back all the 1st trimester anxiety as of course you really don’t know until the first scan. Determined to TRY and get a bit excited though as you’ve got to live in the moment a bit haven’t you...

Wow @Millie2008 that's exciting that it's now a week past and things are still going well as our chemicals ended much sooner last month. Even more positive that the lines are getting darker! I'm excited for you! 😁

Just checking in to see how everyone is getting on, I've got to my 10 week point and morning sickness is being a bit of a bitch, but now it's slightly calming down I can get a bit more excited again. 12 week scan in 2 weeks eakk!!!!

@Undomesticgodde55 @Millie2008 I was actually thinking about you both last night and how you were both getting on. So happy for you that you're now at the 10week point! Have you tried all the ginger sweets/tea things that people talk about?

We are attempting the SMEP this cycle and bizarrely I had two LH surges, the first on cd 6 and the second one today. The only difference is lots of EWCM today and yesterday so think this is my ovulation time rather than cd 6 as that would be too early. So fingers crossed this cycle, still got 2 more days in my ovulation window and then it's the 2 week wait 🥴

Ooooo @Kiza 2 week wait again fingers and toes are crossed - remind me what cycle you are on is it third time lucky?

Hello!! I was worried I’d lost this thread but it seems to have appeared again, yay!
Undomestic - so glad sickness has calmed down a bit. You must be so excited for 12 week scan I feel pretty crap physically (though waaaaaaay better than I did during the first trimester of first pregnancy)- very nauseous, stomach aches (indigestion?), bloating and knackard! Keep telling myself they’re all good signs and id be stressed if I wasn’t having any symptoms. Getting pretty anxious now and just really want to scan to hurry up! Have booking appointment with midwife next week so guess I’ll find out when it is then.
Kiza - interesting you had 2 LH surges... do you think you ovulated twice?? Fingers crossed for dreaded 2ww xx

There was only EWCM on the second surge and a bit of ovulation cramping so think I ovulated Sunday, luckily we dtd Friday and also Sunday morning.
Think this is 4th cycle? Maybe 5? I forget 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
Af due June 6th so 2 and half week wait 😫, I'm feeling lucky though- you know sometimes you just get the feeling? Or maybe I'm just being too hopeful 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Millie2008 I agree that all the early pregnancy symptoms are reassuring, and sort of grateful to have them in a bizarre way because at least you know the bubba is growing and all ok 👌🏽 when do you think your scan will be?

I'm currently 7dpo, boobs are starting to feel a little sore and I'm not sure if this is anything but vagina feels 'heavy'. Almost like that feeling you get when AF is going to start but AF is not due for me for another week and half..? Never had implantation symptoms before so not sure if it could be that? 🤷🏼‍♀️

@gracealana to test? I'd say wait until at least 7dpo, even then it's a tad too early. Although myself and another on here got a faint positive 8dpo with cheapie internet tests. How many dpo are you?

I’m a bit confused I’m not clued up on all this 🙈 when do we ovulate? Before or after period? My period was due around 4th/5th May and nothing no cramps just headache and one bit of brown discharge..have had lots of symptoms since then but I have a health issue so it’s hard to fertilise if it’s this or something else..I’m on the pill and also suffering with stress 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Kiza I'm 9dpo and dying to test but also too scared to in case it's bad news. When are you testing? X

@gracealana the average person ovulates 14 days after period starts... but everyone is different x

@gracealana you're on the pill? So not TTC, sorry maybe you got a bit mixed up as this thread was for ladies TTC and were on 5dpo awaiting the 2 week wait before they will test if they are pregnant.
I'd advise doing some of your own researching the internet about menstrual cycles , bearing in mind you're on the pill which (depending upon which pill you're taking) can affect tour menstrual cycle.
Maybe try and find a forum for what you're seeking and good luck ☺️

@mumof1hants I'm 7dpo...bought some superdrug test yesterday and the temptation is unreal! But I know it's way too early, hoping I can hold out till the weekend with AF due next Tuesday!

@mumof1hants I did a sneaky test this morning and bfn. But early though as today is 8dpo, the long weekend with no plans hasn't helped as my mind has been thinking about it 😄 back to work tomorrow so hopefully busy days will keep me preoccupied until next weekend.
Have you tested?

@NLouise123 It's so difficult isn't it 🤦🏼‍♀️ if you can hold off try but I know it's hard.
I justify some of my testing with 'the tests were like 30p from the internet' 😄
