Hi, I was just feeling a bit down in my 2ww and wanted to share a bit. I'm trying so hard not to symptom spot but it's impossible.

Im around 7 or 8dpo, I couldn't pinpoint the actual day as LH tests were inconclusive, CM got very watery one day and the next seem thicker so I'm hoping that's when I ovulate. I have sore boobs, slight backache, weird ache very low down in my abdomen, almost like an internal bruise. If I stand, sit or bend then I feel it ache.

Cervix is high and soft, creamy CM, little bit of nausea but that's probably because I'm working myself up... I stupidly did a test this morning which was a bfn so feeling even worse now!

I know everyone else feels the same way but I wish I just knew one way or another... I'm 35 so worried that's affecting my fertility too.

Thanks, just needed to vent a bit x

Sorry to hear that, although good luck next month! Xx

peasando · 13/06/2019 11:02

How are you feeling @Helensss?

ahhgowan · 13/06/2019 11:08

Does anyone else feel in denial every time they see a negative? I can't stop doing it and it's really annoying me now. Everyday I do a test and it comes up negative but i just think nooo I will be it will show tomorrow and then it never does, then AF comes and I finally believe it but then next cycle comes along and it all starts again! How can I stop doing this?

ahhgowan · 13/06/2019 11:13

It's the money as well though spending so much on tests and different types of tests cheapies, digital etc etc 🤯 why can't I just stop

itscallednickingbentcoppers · 13/06/2019 11:38

@LS19 is that the freedom tests, they're awful for Evans

itscallednickingbentcoppers · 13/06/2019 11:38

Evaps not Evans!

Helensss · 13/06/2019 11:53

@peasando I’m ok thank you. I don’t actually feel that mental this month, see how long that lasts haha, I’m 11dpo but I’m just going to wait and see if af comes this time. It’s also hard to be excited after mc... I have no sore boobs this time but twinges in lower right abdomen but that could be anything! How are youuu? Bet you feel so excited! Xxx

LS19 · 13/06/2019 12:59

They were a mix of Tesco tests and asda. The bottom one is a 3.50 test which is why we thought it was a defo positive. Got a docs this afternoon as that cycle was 63 days, but i did come off my pill that month. But af has defo visited! Cramps ouch!

peasando · 13/06/2019 14:12

@ahhgowan I was exactly the same, the only thing that broke the cycle was my BFP unfortunately (and even then I kept testing for about 3 weeks!)

@Helensss that's really good that you're not obsessing hun, I know how hard it is after a loss. Still have my fingers crossed that this is your month.

I'm feeling ok, still keeping it a secret for another couple of weeks though so trying to hide my increasingly fat tummy at work is interesting!

ahhgowan · 13/06/2019 17:12

Ok so this is kinda crazy even though I've had BFN tests today I decided to hit a FRER I've just had two BFP on the FRER tests but every other test is saying negative, does this mean I am or not 🤷🏻‍♀️ it's 3 days until my period

peasando · 13/06/2019 17:31

@ahhgowan that definitely doesn't mean you are out, first response tests are pretty sensitive so they might well pick it up before the others! Have you got a picture?

peasando · 13/06/2019 17:32

Sorry, misread your question but I'd say there's a strong chance you are preg!!

ahhgowan · 13/06/2019 18:50

Positive on both but did a clear blue digital and an Amazon cheapie one today both negative so don't know what to think now 🤯🤯

Can't see anything on these ones!

peasando · 13/06/2019 19:46

Ok, step away from the tests! Those frers look absolutely positive - whispering congratulations! When is your period due? I would do a digital on the day it's due (I've never had a positive with FMU on a digital before my period was due).

At this point, the later in the day you leave it the lower the concentration of hcg so testing all day is a bit counterproductive (never stopped me either, so I do sympathise!)

Helensss · 14/06/2019 07:47

@ahhgowan definitely positive! I had the same results on fr and negative on clear blue! Eeeek

ahhgowan · 14/06/2019 08:38

My period is due on Sunday. I'm going to buy more tests today and buy a few different brands because I still can't believe it could be true Shock and I neeeeed to know 🙈

Helensss · 14/06/2019 09:40

Buy the early response clear blue, they picked mine up early xx

ahhgowan · 14/06/2019 10:12

I guess I am then! Last time it ended in a MMC though so I'm trying not to get too excited yet even though it's hard not to 🤭

Helensss · 14/06/2019 10:41

Eeeek how exciting! Yeah I know how you feel, but stay positive! Xx

peasando · 14/06/2019 15:58

@ahhgowan that's so exciting, congratulations! I knew those tests were positive 😃 I understand how you feel - I had 11 miscarriages before I had my son but then my pregnancy with him was perfect, and so far this time (the first time I've been pregnant since I had him) all is going well at 13 weeks. You just have to keep positive and believe it will all be ok, even though that's hard sometimes So excited for you! 💖

Helensss · 14/06/2019 16:14

@peasando oh my god 11! You poor thing, did they give any reasons or was it just one of those unlucky things? Xx

peasando · 14/06/2019 20:22

There were various things that probably contributed to them, but we never got a definitive answer. With my son I was on progesterone, aspirin and heparin to treat some of the things they thought it might be, plus we changed my thyroid medication, and all was well - but no one really knows which of those (if any) was the answer so we're throwing them all at this pregnancy as well to be on the safe side! I'm

peasando · 14/06/2019 20:23

Not sure where that last 'I'm' came from 🤔

Helensss · 14/06/2019 21:01

Ah ok scary stuff! I hope I don’t keep having them, fingers crossed and nice to hear a success story if I do! How are you @AutismFamily? Xx
