@ale2992 it's too difficult not to symptom spot isn't it?! I'm exhausted today too, the cramp I was feeling yesterday has gone so who knows what that was. You've got another week or so before you're going to get get that bfp so don't necessarily write off this month, you're definitely still in the running 😊

CamMc · 21/02/2019 17:33

Thanks @MrsP4
Fingers crossed for us both. As you say, keep relaxed and anything else will be a bonus ;)

ale2992 · 21/02/2019 21:51

Okay I need to rant;
My best friend is currently pregnant, she is four weeks ahead of what I would have been if I had not miscarried in Dec.
She messaged me today saying how bored and fed up of pregnancy she is.
REALLY?!

@ale2992 that is tough, does she know about your MC? Pregnancy is all consuming, she probably doesn't realise the affect she's having. I had to politely leave a whatsapp group of friends late last year after a MC and two of the group were pregnant, I just couldn't deal with hearing the happy updates. If you have the strength tell her how it makes u feel. If not don't feel guilty for taking a break and looking after yourself for a while x

MadisonC · 22/02/2019 07:25

P.S. I listened to a lovely podcast the other day on Spotify, the title is 'hey girl' and its episode 14: Kenya on trying to conceive. She's really good at telling her story of the highs and lows x

ale2992 · 22/02/2019 10:03

@MadisonC yes she's dugout aware and that we're trying again and it's not quite happening.
I know people get wrapped in their own bubble but it's ridiculous

AF due Wednesday. I met up with a friend last night for drinks. Wanted to check before drinking that I wasn't pregnant but all I had was a cheap pregnancy test which I did first thing and I got a BFN (did it in the morning with FMU). I feel zero symptoms, no sore boobs etc... anyway, went out and drank and then this morning I did a FRER (my dh had for one last night when shopping) and it's positive. I feel so awful for drinking last night now and keep crying. I had no gut instinct or symptoms telling me I was pregnant - will my drinking last night do any damage? I've had miscarriages before my first (and only) lo and am now full of fear.

@Aria2015 congratulations and please don't worry correct me someone if I'm wrong but I don't think you and baby share the same placenta until about 6 weeks is it? I'm not sure but I've read something like that somewhere, honestly though don't beat yourself up about it, it will all be fine

Aria2015 · 23/02/2019 14:39

@MrsP4 thanks for the reply. I have been googling like mad and have read similar which is reassuring. I hope everything goes ok and I stay pregnant. My first (full term) pregnancy was such an anxious time because of previous miscarriages. It would be nice to have a pregnancy second time round without having to experience loss first. It's out of my hands though so I go from one type of waiting game to another!

MrsP4 · 23/02/2019 14:54

@Aria2015 Ahh bless you! I can only imagine how you must feel sorry you went through that first time round but just keep telling yourself this is a whole new pregnancy and will be completely different! Best of luck and hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months

ale2992 · 24/02/2019 00:25

@Aria2015 congrats!
I also read that you don't share bloody supply with baby until around 6 week so would think it's too early to have done any damage

Hello all I’m 5dpo and going mad!! Anyone mind if I join here? I’v commented on another thread but recognise a lot of the names are the same 💖

ale2992 · 24/02/2019 10:11

So I took another test this morning and I think I can se the faintest of faint lines but not 100% Going to test again tomorrow and see what I get 🤞🏻🤞🏻

So feeling a bit uncertain and down today. I did another frer this morning and another definite faint positive appeared. It's about the same as yesterday though so not really noticably darker. I then did a clear blue digital and it came up not pregnant. I know they aren't as sensitive as the frer and according to their site I shouldn't test with them until tomorrow but still can't help feeling like something is wrong. I think if my frer had appeared much darker today i’d feel better. I'm 11 dpo now and this was my frer from today.

Aria2015 · 24/02/2019 10:50

@ale2992 i'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

MrsP4 · 24/02/2019 11:22

@Aria2015 a line is a line and that is a BFP! Please don't worry it takes 48 hours for HCG to double up so you won't see it be any darker until atleast tomorrow 11DPO is still very early I'm 11DPO today and haven't tested yet think I might do a FRER in the morning as I've had some cramps on and off, watery CM and a stitch like pain not normal AF symptoms for me

ale2992 · 24/02/2019 11:25

@Aria2015 yes I want just going to say the same as @MrsP4 48 hours to double

Aria2015 · 24/02/2019 11:35

Thanks ladies, makes me feel better. It's hard not to think the worst when I've had losses before. Going to try and keep myself distracted as much as I can today! I'll keep you posted!

MrsP4 · 24/02/2019 11:40

I bet it is @Aria2015 but please try and be positive, keep telling yourself you are pregnant! This will be a sticky bean! Law of attraction and all that. 😘

Hopefulprincess · 24/02/2019 11:41

That’s defo a positive try again in the morning hcg is not instant so should get darker lines in the mornings as they progress, good luck 😉

Hopefulprincess · 24/02/2019 11:41

Anyone who’s getting positives did you have symptoms in 2ww?

Aria2015 · 24/02/2019 11:44

@Hopefulprincess I didn't have any symptoms (hence drinking Friday) but since I found out My boobs have felt a bit sore and heavy but not sure if that's in my head!? Also now I think back to the last few days before I found out, I was unusually tired but things have been busy at work so didn't question it but could have been a symptom.

Aria2015 · 24/02/2019 11:45

@Hopefulprincess and @MrsP4 thank you! Working hard on positive thoughts!!!

ale2992 · 24/02/2019 11:46

@Hopefulprincess I don't really have any symptoms

OP posts:
Aria2015 · 25/02/2019 09:29

Did another frer today and I'm worried it's not getting darker Sad. After 3 minutes it looked the same as the last two days but then after it's dried a bit it does look darker. The first photo is after 3 mins and the second is after it's dried a bit.
