February Bus?!

Hello all

Thought I'd start a February bus thread (sorry if there is one I've not seen). AF caught me off guard today after being 4 days late and hoping we'd caught lucky first time.

Statistics:
33, TTC 1, Cycle 2, CD 1

Came off the pill November so now I've had my first proper AF I think I may try OPKs this month.

Sorry to hear AF got you @Pinkelephant12 hopefully February is your month. I know how you feel, 3 people I know have given birth this week!

@Zoeox May be worth getting some sticks if you haven't had CM. Even if you have 'missed the boat' this cycle, you could then have a stash for the next one FX for you!

For the first time in years of 'If it happens it happens' talk (we have known fertility issues) I am BBT and using OPK's again. Relaxed approach does not work.

I was out with friends last night and got the continuous ‘are you not pregnant yet’ ‘when are you going to have kids’ took everything not to just scream I’m bloody trying!

@Pinkelephant12 it's awful isn't it. I had a little outburst at the last family get together. People just don't think do they.

2018 was in general a pretty shit year all round! So I'm really hoping we may just be lucky this year.
We have also just decided to take a jump, and move from the borders of London/Essex, escape the rat race and head up to Lincolnshire for a much calmer, better way of life. Much more suited to bringing up a child as opposed to my druggy neighbours here!!

I think I now know why I am unable to maintain a pregnancy, so I just need to act on that and start getting that further investigated.
DH has taken the step to stopping smoking which should improve our chances too 🤞🏻
Unlikely to be my month just yet, but missed following everyone on here and chatting to people who 'get it'

Getting a cd21 blood test this month, so maybe clear things up. Also getting blood tests for thyroid function. Anyone else had these tests? Xx

Came off pill Jan 18 but been tracking since April so cycle 10 I suppose. We struggle to dtd due to DP issues and I had two randomly long cycles of 59 and 40 days. I've just had static smiley and we dtd today and plan to tomorrow and Tuesday so fx! Anyone else entering tww?

Managed to convince myself it had happened first time after overanalysing twinges and sore boobs only for AF to rain on my parade on Friday. Forgot what an emotional rollercoaster this is and only one month in 😬

I'm TTC #2 we had a missed mc in September 2018, and I seem to be back on track cycle wise now with today being CD1!

I do have PCOS and irregular periods so I'm also on Clomid days 2-6 this cycle to boost things along. I do have infertility and quite a complex obs and gynea history so I'm not holding my breath!

However I have my ovulation tests at the ready and I feel I'm armed and ready to attack this cycle lol!

I haven’t used opks, but based on normal symptoms (increased sex drive, temp, etc) and the fact I have clockwork 28 day cycles I think I’ve just finished FW.

AF due in 13 days!
We dtd 4 in last 5 days, and will dtd tomorrow also for good measure

Hoping I can join this bus although Feb is already looking like a no no!

Am 31 and me and DH TTC #1, cycle 1... Started trying but was experiencing spotting. Went to the GP who has referred me for tests to determine any issue and said stop trying till results come in. Then yesterday started bleeding like a period even though I’m not due till early Feb

Went back to GP today and stressed I would like an urgent scan to check all is ok inside as have had dermoid cyst removal before with keyhole surgery.

Head is all over the place as we were meant to be on the Jan bus initially

I feel for you, I have had to delay ttc due to ongoing gynae issues - inc a lletz after dodgy smear results, then waited for follow up on that - its really hard and you feel like everything is onhold.
But the sense of relief when I got the all clear from follow up was massive, and I feel I'm starting ttc with a good frame of mind.

And once you're pregnant you'll have a nice long break from AF!!!

I'd like to join please! TTC number 1, I have PCO and my last period ended in November but I think I've just started this evening! I'm going to give this month a go and if nothing happens, then go back to the doctors and see if there's anything they can do. Good luck everyone!

Hi all, hope I can join! I fell off the January bus last Monday! Currently on CD9 TTC1. According to Glow I don't ovulate until CD21 which is Feb 2nd - so far away 😩 (I have very irregular periods 🙈). I'm using OPKs for the first time properly (didn't realise you could take photos of the strips and add them to Glow - so handy!!).
Be nice to talk to people going through the same thing whilst I wait for ovulation day to show up! 😊

Never heard this before, I am a massive coffee drinker - probably having 3 cups of filter coffee a day! Apparently 1 cup is the max!

I cut it back last time i was pregnant, but didn't think it was important at the ttc/implantation stage!

Just sharing incase there are any other coffee addicts out there!

Hope this is the right place to post, I'm new to these boards and the 'bus' stuff, but I'm guessing this is for posters hoping to get a BFP in Feb? That would be me 😁

Anyway, I'm 30 (31 early feb), TTC no. 2, my daughter is 15 months old. This is my 2nd cycle officially trying. My cycle are usually 29-31 but I seem to have ovulated about 5 days later than my norm so expecting a longer cycle this time, boo hiss.

I'm sorry I haven't read through everyone's posts, but I hope you are all well and it's a lucky month for us!

....@Ambs81, that is totally me, I'm a huge coffee snob. I have cut down on the off chance it will improve my chances, but damn decaf is nowhere near as delicious!

@ambs81 @FirstOfMyKind I’ve also just given up caffeine - bit of a challenge as I’m a two-coffees-before-9am kind of girl!

While in a paranoid frenzy I also ordered the ClearBlue Advanced Fertility Monitor for a ridiculous amount of money (I’m not buying coffee at least!) because it had some stat about increasing chances of pregnancy by 80%, plus some Maca supplements to take alongside usual pre-natal vitamins after a couple of people swore by it (v scientific I know 😩).

Probably both a complete waste of money that I don’t have... I guess it’s trying to take some control in an area where it all feel in the hands of fate!

I have a chronic pain condition that has caused me to have anxiety... so am a little apprehensive about this rollercoaster of a journey!

@Ambs81 only on cycle 2 but struggled a bit to conceive my first after coming off the pill and it taking a good 7/8 months for my cycle to be anything like normal. I wasn’t able to use OPKs etc last as my cycles were so long and irregular and just found the whole thing pretty stressful... hoping it might be a bit more straightforward this time! 😬
