Our new year's resolution is to get a BFP!

I fell off the December bus today after a 34 day cycle. AF turned up this afternoon. I will be ovulating on Christmas Day by the looks of things! Hoping this means I can enjoy mulled wine etc this Christmas.

So here we go again.

Hi @paintingowls I'm unsure because last cycles have randomly been 59 then 39 days despite positive opks so hoping this one is normal. If it is then AF due Monday and next fertile window around 21 Jan

I have decided in a last ditch attempt for completely giving up all hope that 2019 will be the year I revert to using OPK's and charting.

@thosethreewords @PaintingOwls Thanks, I finally figured out that it was probably my version of creamy cm. And it was fertile, I did end up ovulating that day and dtd so we'll see. 2dpo and determined not to symptom spot or get my hopes up too much this cycle.

After 10 goes, ttc starts to feel like that ride at a theme park which always looked amazing when you were too short to go on it. And it was pretty exciting when you finally get to go on but now I'm bored, dizzy and just want to get off! Good luck to everyone x

So I caved this morning a took an IC and I think I can see the faintest line- looks more like a shadow. Too faint for the camera to pick up. Should I get a FRER today ?

@boodles101 you are 11 DPO too aren't you? Yes get a FRER and take it! I'm waiting now til Tuesday unless AF comes because I had a negative on a FRER yesterday but you can always test FMU tomorrow?

Yes 11dpo so will try the frer tomorrow with fmu. Trying not to get excited cos I'm probably totally imagining this shadow.

Using clear blue dual ovulation monitor and am on day 3 of flashing smileys.

Hi all, I was on the buses over the summer and fell pregnant in autumn but had a second MC in November so this is me back on. I'm DPO 1 of my first proper cycle since the MC based on CB OPK and static smiley on 2nd Jan. So into the TWW I go.

Congratulations @boodles101 ! What an amazing start to the year.

I got a BFN this morning, but I'm okay about it. I knew I would have been incredibly lucky to conceive on my first go.

I was hoping for a nice surprise for my DH on my birthday, but at least I can have a nice big glass of something naughty.

@Paddypaws91 I feel the same. Cycle 2 but feel a bit better about it today and trying not to be negative at all! Want to try and do some things every month I don't get a BFP that I won't be able to do when pregnant or with a baby to make up for it!!

Thanks guys still in shock and only early days but I was convinced when my boobs felt sore as thats just never happened before. No idea how I'm going to tell DH. It's my DSs birthday on the 17th is it bad if I wait til then?

@thosethreewords I actually think I feel better for knowing. The TWW is torture! I can drink coffee without that niggle in the back of my head and lucky me I can book my smear now

I'm now cd13 and on my 4th day of flashing smileys, getting annoying waiting for a solid smiley.

My next POAS date is 29th jan as I'm going to wait until after AF this time!

thosethreewords thanks I might wait a few days to see the line progressing and make sure it's not another CP and then tell him. He took the last CP really badly so want to just make sure first.

Hi everyone. I’m on CD11. Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday or today based on symptoms. We only managed to “do the deed” yesterday morning so it’s probably not enough (DH working night shift). I was in disbelief that I’d ovulate so soon in my cycle (last month was CD22) so I’ve probably messed up our chances. I usually temp and use ov tests but my thermometer stopped working and I ran out of tests, ordered new ones over a week ago and they never arrived! I’ve been TTC about 11 months now so I can usually tell when I’m ovulating though.
