@Needadoughnut I'm 11 dpo, how about you?

I did see a super super faint line two evenings ago but I haven't seen one since, so I'm ruling myself out.

Just looked ahead to next month and my FW is slap bang in the middle of Christmas, my mum will be staying with us all week 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think I'll have to rule out next month too. Our house is too small there's no way I'd be able to DTD with her here 😂😂.

I'm either 9 or 10dpo my LP is short as far as I know... So that's why I can rely on FRER calculator to test. I know best case scenario I would only get a faint positive by now but more realistically it would be in 2 days.... By then I might as well wait for AF.

@MrsLBear how long have u been trying? We've been trying for over a year now. It's driving us nuts. We already have a 13yr old daughter, I'm 36 now and he's 39, starting to think maybe we're to old lol.xx

@Crazydreamer we stopped using contraception in June and would say this is our first month of giving it all we have got (did temp and OPK prev months though)
I can only imagine - being a year in must be hard. It's just so hard not to lose faith. Have you considered going to the doctors?
Do you temp etc?

And I agree with @saffy347. You're far from too old @Crazydreamer!! Age is just a number after all.

I know what u mean, my friend at work is pregnant, shes due end of jan. Shes having her 4th baby.
2 other people are having their 2nd child. They both got pregnant straight after having a baby.

Didn't do OPKs this month but that's me on CD28. Negative pregnancy test on a Superdrug one. I don't know why I do this to myself. My daughter was conceived on the first month trying!

@saffy347 - that's exciting! I'm on cycle number 4 so it's not been that long really. My cycles are often over 30 days though. Last cycle was 36 days! I've got frers arriving tomorrow 🤞🏻

So I took a Poundland strip, I could see something, DP thought it looked like an evap. So I went to the toilet again 10mins later and I took a FRER with whatever wee I could get and it's a BFN. My CM is plenty and clear. AF due on Tuesday, currently 10/9 dpo. Thoughts??

@MrsLBear Sorry for late reply, I have got smiley's every month that I have used clearblue digi opks. Although one month I went straight from low to peak with no high. I have found the ic's a lot harder to interpret this cycle but they roughly agree with the clearblue- I got a very nearly positive on the ic's the night before getting a peak and I think temping indicated that I ov'd the following day. But still trying to figure it out- putting all this information together is hard! And I agree that it can be easy to get a bit obsessed with temping and opk's- I am someone who is naturally inclined in that direction and found myself worrying about whether I was going to get a temp shift yesterday. I think if we're still not pregnant by the time I run out of opk's, I will stop using them and just temp as pretty sure I am ovulating at this point and have a good idea of my FW. I think the pressure is getting to dh so we probably do need to take a bit more of a relaxed approach. So hard when it's been a while and you really want that BFP! Where are you in your cycle now?

@Needadoughnut Very possibly too early at this point if AF due on Tuesday so I certainly would not give up hope. Could you manage to wait until AF due to test again? CM can be an indicator of early pregnancy but quite unreliable. Fx crossed for you.

CD18 and still no temp rise :(

@goldflakepaint that's very promising. I'm hoping I get a high and or peak on them as it will really help me determine what's going on.
I had a high temp yday but I think it might be due to illness but I inputted it anyway and then this morning it was a bit lower again (but higher than previous days) and FF said I ovulated 3 days ago (CD10) I don't think that's right as I have cycles of around 33 days and I certainly don't have a 23 day LT phase! And I didn't have anything on my OPKs. So I've decided to leave FF to think that and then keep my natural cycles going to see where that goes. I'm currently on CD13. My luteal phase is (I think) around 15-17 days I can't pin point it yet.
I know what you mean. The pressure definitely got to DH last night as I suggested we DTD as we won't today as I'm working all day then we are off out but it failed miserably. It's crazy how it can so easily cause problems which I am determined not to let happen though. I'm now stressing that we will have a 2 day gap around my fertile time where we haven't DTD.
What cycle day are you? (sorry if you said I tried looking but the thread moves fast 😬)

@goldflakepaint done my OPK after I wrote that and got a flashing smiley face!!!!!! At last!!
So now I'm even more gutted we didn't DTD. But I know it just means it can detect a surge coming right? This is where it confuses me a bit.

Just wanted to say to everyone feeling fed up and disheartened that I know how you feel, I won't say any of the usual annoying platitudes but I was really low and had pretty much given up when DS came along. Also I still find it unbelievable that people ask when are you going to have a baby, it's so personal and intrusive. Someone told me yesterday not to leave it too long before we try for another. I felt like getting my Ovia app out and saying well I think we've done a good job trying this month...I'll let you know in about 2 weeks 😂

Thought I'd jumped off this bus a couple of weeks ago, but a slightly shorter cycle means that I've just managed to squeeze back on!

Just started my fertile period (flashing smiley this morning) cd10. App is predicting ov on cd14, though it does sometimes happen by cd12. Either way, hoping to test between Christmas Eve and Boxing Day!

Will have to potentially come up with a good excuse for not having a drink on Christmas Day! - we're ideally not wanting to tell family that we're trying.

Well I took another strip and I can arrange eval :/ I'm sure DP will tell me I'm deranged !
