For those of us determined to get a bfp before end of 2018 and celebrating Christmas without any alcohol!

TTC: no 1
Cycle: 5
Cycle day: 1
AF/BFP due: 4th December

So I've been quiet for a few days because AF never came. I'm now on CD36 and about 17dpo I've had a BFN test. I'm fed up. My last cycle was 59 days long and I hoped it was a one off but now I'm assuming it will be the same. Does anyone know what this means? I assume it means I didn't ovulate.

@saffy347 I'm kind of in the same situation as you. Want a September onwards baby (although I'm very aware it could take months and months or more so feel a bit silly trying to plan anyway). But today I've thought if it happens it happens and we are just going for it from today. Fingers crossed if it did happen it'd just tip into September now!

When are you planing on poas @saffy347? Would be so amazing to fall month 1 though! Honestly the stress is far worse!

So I'm in the TWW, but gutted that we didn't manage "one more for luck"
Yesterday but happy with our efforts and hopefully it pays off

@veeboo have you got any other symptoms of pcos? I have it and my cycles were all over the place when we started trying, it had never really bothered me before but it's so hard. I remember once making a huge effort to dtd over what I thought was the FW even though I had a rotten cold, only for AF to come along 2 days later.

@Seahawk80 oh no what are the chances of that! I feel your pain however as I woke up this morning feeling like death and was determined to stick to my altered version of SMEP. I really really hope it's not all for nothing.
When's your BFP due?

Thanks @MrsLBear - I can laugh about it now but at the time I was so gutted! AF due 18th dec but my cycles still aren't 100% and 19th is my birthday so I'm going to wait until 20th and test then if no AF (that plan might go out of the window once the temptation to POAS arrives)!

@seahawk80 we’re birthday twins!

All of my apps are predicting ovulation around next weekend. When we are staying at my parents and sleeping in the same room as our 3 year old. 😬

@stroan no way! Feel your pain on the timing, this month was good but last month DH was away whole of FW and the 2 month before one of us was sick over the FW. Hopefully you can sneak in a quickie!

@seahawk80 it’s so annoying! The only weekend we have plans that can’t be moved. Thankfully not going until Saturday lunchtime and we’ll probably come home a bit earlier on Sunday.

So, cheered on by @WildFlower2018 I meant to POAS this morning... Only to wake up at 5am and stumble into the bathroom and waste the FMU in a sleep deprived state!

As of today, I am 11DPO and FF says to test next Saturday but we all know I'm not going to make it 8 more days

@stroan haha I agree with @Peaky1 that could be funny! Of all the days in our cycles it falls on those days you think how am I gonna do that. But seems like you could maybe work round it with mornings and evenings DTD!

Hi @seahawk80 no I dont think so and I had a scan a few years ago which came back clear so I assume it would have been picked up there if I had pcos?

Absolutely nothing on this morning's test. I do have the world's biggest headache too, which is nice ☹️

Ah well. AF not due til Tuesday so I'll keep being hopeful x
