My AF arrived today, finally! It seems that since I've had 2 children my cycle has extended from 26/27 days to 30/31 🤦🏻‍♀️. So, this is now cycle day 1 and if all goes well I will be hoping for a BFP at the end of Dec (as I'll be using FR of course 😂😂). AF next due 1/2 Jan

Should probably explain why I'm relieved to have AF! I was 3 days late, been cramping for 6 days and expecting AF (as I only usually cramp on the day). Kept spending money and testing neg so I knew that it was coming but wanted it to bloody hurry up (pardon the pun) so I could start again!

Update: this mornings test is the same if not fainter and more squintier than last night. I'm calling evap lines. I expected it to be darker with my FMU.

Oh well... We'll see what tomorrow's looks like x

@WildFlower2018 I was really hoping it was going to be a more obvious BFP. It's not over yet though, not until AF arrives 👍🏻 x

Question for all of you knowledgeable ladies :) I couldn't test regularly this cycle so I'm a bit lost... If I had a positive opk Tuesday evening (blazing I must add) and then a negative one 7 hours later, when would you say I ovulated??

@MrsLBear sorry for late reply I haven't been on, my af finished yesterday so here we go again, just gonna have as much sex as possible this month. Just wish it would happen already it's so disheartening each month. Good luck to u this month xx

@unicornxo thank you, it's still early days I guess. You can implant anytime til 12days po and I'm only 10dpo today!!! AF due Tuesday! hopefully I'll have happier news tomorrow or in a few days x 😊

@Needadoughnut I had the exact same thing... darker than dark OPK on the Monday morning and by afternoon it was nearly negative. I put the data into my app, Glow, and it said I ovulated Monday (originally it predicted Tuesday based on my cycle length). So my app would say you ovulated Tuesday.

However m, I don't know how reliable it is. I think it's hard to pinpoint because you can release the egg 12-24 hours after the LH surge and everyone's lasts different lengths and the opk doesn't detect when you started surging! so confusing... 🤷🏻‍♀️

also does a negative or a feinter opk then mean you've already ovulated??

@wildflower Glow said exactly the same... It moved to Tuesday... In fact most apps did that. I do think that a positive OPK followed by a negative possibly means ovulation has already happened. If that's the case I'm 9dpo but I don't feel pregnant :/ granted last time I was actually pregnant I didn't feel pregnant at all but it was a chemical and Id rather not go through that again. In fact I'd rather not have another period as it's just such a heart achieve :(

I'm terrified to do a test for a few reasons.
1 I don't expect it to happen in the first month
2 my AF has been a few days late since September but not this late
3 I'm away at the moment so wouldn't really know what to do if I do get a BFP!

I have no idea what I'm doing.
My youngest is 7 and a half.
I forget absolutely everything. Reading all your posts is really helping me remember. I don't have a clue when I ovulate and have never used the sticks before. Can I ask a stupid question? is it generally 14 if a woman has an 'average' 28 day cycle or is that nonsense?

Also - it doesn't help that I don't think my cycles are back to what was normal for me years ago. I had the most reliable 27 day cycle imaginable - I could time my period for 10am on day 27. I've had the coil in for years.
I've had my mirena out recently (enough): on the 1st October.
My period came back a week later: on the 9th October. Thought I was one of the rare, lucky ones - whos cycle springs immediately back to predicable and reliable.
Alas, no.
I was being a bit cheeky there, wasn't I?
That first period lasted 7 days. Disappeared for 2 and then returned for another 10. The never ending period.

Then it disappeared and I had a completely unheard of (for me) 35 day period. Almost went mad waiting for it to return.

It came back on the 24th November so here I am (I think) on day 13. I'm hoping I'm back to my 27 day cycle.
DTD on days 7 and 10 (so far)
Will attempt to seduce DH tonight (don't think it'll be too hard)

@Crazydreamer dw I know the feeling all too well I normally zone out on here when AF is visiting. I feel your pain sista. I want to see a 2 pink lines on my FRER more than anything. It's so weird like I can't even imagine it happening which makes me feel like it won't ever happen.

That looks like a BFP to me!! I would think it was if it were mine. I think my DH would be the same tbh cos he wouldn't want my craziness to get his hopes up. Not saying you're crazy haha cos I do think that looks positive to me!!
Have you been temping or doing OPKs at all?

Af arrived this afternoon. Not jumping off the bus but will straddle between this one and the January on as AF is now due jan 1st so may still bet a bfp in 2018.

@Needadoughnut sorry to hear about the chemical, I'm also going to be gutted if/when AF turns up.

So, I bought two more FRERs. They've not long arrived.

I did one last night which had a lightish pink line, but only with the camera torch on it. This morning's was similar, though arguably slightly lighter. I think both lines are pink, not grey or white.

So should I -

A) go and pee on it at half 7 (four hour hold)
B) do it tomorrow morning or
C) do it Sunday morning

Or something else? Currently 10dpo and due AF on Tuesday.

Tests were £3 each from amazon, so while not cheap, I don't mind wasting them too much 🤔 🤔

Feeling so bad for dh. Asked him what he would like for xmas, he said not to buy him anything, only thing he wants is a baby.
Trying not to stress, hard when its the one thing we both really want.
