@BambiOnIce80 sorry about DP upsetting you 💐 🙄 men hey! But at least he’s come to his senses now.

I think I seem to get more angry than upset lately and just go off on a massive rant and then offer the silent treatment afterwards (none of which DP can stick for long) lol, but it only happens when he deserves it 🙄🤪.

@BambiOnIce80 Ooh the classic ‘look at my domestic prowess please don’t kill me’ technique. I hope you are making him do a bit more crawling. You’ll have to let us know if you spot any fur babies you fall in love with 😻

It seems like we are never done with being busy, from the moment we met, life has been relentlessly busy! Having said that I am in my pjs on the sofa and am planning on ordering a curry, in bed by 9:30.

We only moved a couple of years ago and are at the end of quite an extensive renovation project and now my parents have moved round the corner if feels like we’ve started again because my Dad suffered heart failure last year and can’t handle any heavy lifting and my Mum has rheumatoid arthritis in her hands so the move and probably all of the decorating of their new place will fall to us.

Ailing parents and trying to start a family is not the ideal mix. Luckily my husbands parents are fit as fleas 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks everyone! Very early days for me so trying not to get my hopes up, and obviously completely failing. Trying to tell myself that even if it does go wrong, I won't regret enjoying the moment...

@BambiOnIce80 that does sound extremely annoying, and so horrible to be in tears in a bloody fancy restaurant, feels like you're in a fishbowl. Urgh totally know that feeling.

@MrsRRC sounds like you have lots on your plate. Glad that at least tonight you've got curry on your plate!

Grrr to annoying DP @BambiOnIce Mine got cold feet just before we decided to adopt a cat so I went to the rescue centre alone & fell completely in love with a gorgeous tortie. DH came round obviously & she’s got him wrapped around her little furry paws now 😉

You made me laugh with your description of the forgotten wee pot @MrsRRC That sounds like something I would do 😂 I’m only on day 3 so not even got as far as POAS yet. My app reckons i’m going to ovulate twice this month - once at the beginning of the month and again at the end - so that could be interesting.

All this cat chat makes me chuckle. OH is cat daft, he has strays around his work, and I'm pretty sure if they didn't scratch his eyes out, he'd have one home in a heartbeat!! Hes always showing me pictures of them!
I, on the other hand, can take or leave most pets. We have tropical fish, but they don't require much really! My kinda pet!
I feaked out over the summer when a neighbour's cat came in the house & I didn't notice. It poked its head round the toilet door while i was *ahem "sitting down". Put it this way, there was screaming!! 🤣🤣🤣

Quick question, does anyone take evening primrose oil while ttc? I've been taking it for a couple of years for breast pain but have just read that you should stop for the period between ovulation and AF?

@CNizzle ha ha I would have screamed as well! I feel similarly ambivalent, my DH would have a menagerie in a heartbeat...

So I'm pretty sure I'm having a chemical pregnancy... I started spotting today and now am bleeding (light period-style, some v small clots, brown and some red). Going into the early pregnancy unit tomorrow first thing in hopes of a blood test, but resigned myself to it. Feeling pretty gutted, but I've read that with a CP it's like the start of a new cycle, so we can try again straight away. Promising myself a big gin and tonic if it's not good news tomorrow.

Oh @LeonieKate I'm so sorry it's not looking like good news ❤️😔 I'm truly thinking that FRER's should be avoided at all cost the more I hear about them on here! Keeping everything crossed that the bleeding is one of those early pregnancy kind of things and it's not bad news at EPU after all 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀

Sorry I haven't kept up on the thread the past few days. We had friends staying with us to celebrate Thanksgiving and I needed the distraction. We haven't heard back from the NHS re: NT test risk levels yet, so feeling cautiously optimistic. Hoping there's no call tomorrow either.

@Pinkywoo I was taking it, because it stopped me turning into a spotty, chocolate fuelled monster around af time, I didn’t realise it may be potentially harmful in early pregnancy I stopped taking it but had a cp about 4 days later.

I can’t stress enough that I have no idea whether it was connected, and in all likelihood it was not because you only have to look at the statistics about early mc/cp rates, but I have stopped taking it completely now just to be on the safe side.

Thanks @MrsRRC, I think I'll just err on the side of caution and stop taking, it's not worth the risk.

Thanks for lovely messages - I went to the EPU and they took some bloods and just called to tell me it's a mc. So back to the drawing board for me.

Does anyone know - does this count as AF, and therefore CD1? Do I now just have a normal cycle or do I have to wait until next month?

With mine last month I classed the first day of the bleed as cd1 because I started to bleed on the day my period arrived. However, the ovulation that was picked up by my fertility monitor was 5 days later than usual - probably delayed by the HCG still left in my system.

Your cycle might be a bit wacky and you might be a bit all over the place emotionally. Take some time to take care of yourself. It’s horrible to go through. Much love. Xx
