@flapjackered promise me not to test til AF is due next time, you were so strong saying how you prefer AF to BFN, we led you astray on here - we shall be stronger next time!!
Also, not out till she comes! I totally get how you feel though, but at our age the chance is 15% each cycle so it's that whole "it could take over a year even if you're fine " thing, it's so annoying!
@cupcakesandglitter @katbecool folic acid is the only supplement that is recommended by the NHS preconception as it's clinically proven to reduce the risk of certain defects in the baby. I don't know if it affects regularity or anything, so unless there's anything to suggest it messes up your cycle and that's a bigger worry than reducing the risk of the defects then i would carry on taking it, just my thoughts though as it's personal to everyone, plus they do say it's fine to start taking it once you get your BFP xx
@delilah7 aw it's awful when families fight, sometimes they can't appreciate what they've got can they?
@dosmamas welcome :-) good luck! One of my best friends is in a same sex relationship and they are doing the same, using a sperm donor and self inseminating (don't know if that's the correct term!) She doesn't talk much about it but I may know a bit more about it than others on here.
@cupcakesandglitter how long is your luteal phase? I ovulate on cd17 or 18, and have a 25 or 26 day cycle. I've read loads of horror stories about short luteal phases but also lots of positive stories about Getting Bfps even with a 6 or 7 day luteal phase xxx
