@AngeloMysterioso was your TSH high or low? I'm guessing you had no symptoms?

AngeloMysterioso · 20/09/2018 19:15

@KatBeCool it was high- 14.8. I've had symptoms for years and was tested borderline hypo about a decade ago but thyroxine just made my insomnia even worse. Have been put back on it now though and so far seems to be no negative issues.

MrsC87 · 20/09/2018 19:21

I may have a go at temping them @KatBeCool @Crossfitgirl I can always give it a go and see how it goes.
Thanks everyone for today, think it's just been one of those weeks.
@ValidUser I'm cycle 3 too so I know way too early to be stressing, but it appears we all have moments of worry

KatBeCool · 20/09/2018 19:39

@AngeloMysterioso I am at only 4.8 but it's too high for TTC. Hopefully won't take long to lower it.

Delilah7 · 20/09/2018 21:00

How's everyone tonight? X

Much better thanks @Delilah7 you?
Sorry for bringing the mood down earlier 🙈

GDOG35 · 20/09/2018 21:13

I don’t message a lot on here sorry, had manic few days at work. Plus feel really heavy, tired & achy due on today but nothing yet. Was in costa this afternoon all new mums with their babies all around just make some want it so badly Sad crazy how it gets us all so stressed

KatBeCool · 20/09/2018 21:43

I better be pregnant because the stupid things I've done in the last couple days are not acceptable for a normal person, including pouring apple juice into the meat and rice bowl I made for the dogs instead of my glass. Dogs loved it.

purplestar9 · 20/09/2018 22:17

Hey ladies :) I know I've been a bit AWOL for a while but thought I'd check in with you :) how is everyone doing?

Crossfitgirl · 20/09/2018 22:33

Hey @purplestar9 how are you getting on?
We are all just going baby mad! Or baby brain mad in @katbecool 's case 😉

FivexFive · 20/09/2018 22:33

So glad it's Friday tomorrow! Am currently 10/11dpo, purchased some tests today as no af yet but determined to wait until Sat or Sunday (if af hasn't appeared in the meantime)
I had a chat today with a friend of mine. She's a little older and knows all about the ttc rollercoaster. She warned against getting too obsessive and getting my hopes up too soon after fertile week etc, although obviously easier said than done. But has given me something to think about. If af does come, really going to try to relax more next time. No idea how, yet!
Anyway, hope all my girls on here are doing ok. Anyone got weekend plans? Xx

KeltiBug · 20/09/2018 22:36

Hi, hope you ladies don't mind me stepping in. I'm 22, been ttc for a year. Fell pregnant this time last year but misscarried at 7 weeks. I'm 1 day late for my AF and had spotting 6 days ago.

Here's where I'm confused though. Last month my period was a week early so am I actually 1 day late or am I like 5 days early still?
According to the Ovia app I am 1 day late and ovulated between the 2nd and 8th September.
I've got sore boobs, have had heart burn all week and felt extremely sick today. I havnt had any signs that af is coming apart from the spotting I had on the 14-15th September which was very light and earlier than usual. Normally I'd only have spotting 2-3 days before af is due.

KatBeCool · 20/09/2018 23:02

@KeltiBug it's best to test, otherwise there's no knowing.

KeltiBug · 21/09/2018 06:12

@KatBeCool sorry I should of mentioned I have tested all week up until Wednesday then I ran out of tests. I'm hoping to get some more today but I work Monday to Friday as a nanny so it's hard to get out to the shops if I need to 😂

Is it possible to be able to collect my morning wee then use it later on at about 1pm to test?
I've already collected it at 5:15am and I put it in a sterile air tight pot so just hoping I can use it later on

KatBeCool · 21/09/2018 06:22

@KeltiBug I think if you keep it in a refrigerator, you can test after a few hours. But I'd just wait until next morning when it's fresh, unless you got cheap tests.

Delilah7 · 21/09/2018 06:35

@MrsC87 you didn't bring the mood down don't be silly haha. Glad you're feeling better. I'm ok, fed up of being negative and moaning so I'm just going to shhh.

@GDOG35 I understand how hard that can be seeing babies :( lots of love. Hope you're feeling better this morning x

@KatBeCool that's hilarious 😂 sounds like baby brain ;) xx

@purplestar9 we miss you! X

@FivexFive I'm the same I don't think next cycle I will want to do OPKS and get so obsessed as I have been haha xx

@KeltiBug Welcome x and sorry to hear you miscarried before. It's not nice :( xx

@Delilah7 DH said he's scared if that's what we're facing when I'm pregnant. 😂 Apple juice in the beef and rice bowl followed by me dumping tomatoes into the cabbage slaw... twice. After I picked it out the first time.

KeltiBug · 21/09/2018 06:43

@KatBeCool yeah I only buy the cheap tests. They worked for me last year so I'm happy to use them again, I can't justify spending more than £2 on a test 😂
Well I'm gonna test with the wee I've collected and again tomorrow morning depending on the result I get obviously.

Tbh I'm just really glad I found this thread, I've been dying to find a thread like this as I don't really have anyone else to talk about it with haha

MrsC87 · 21/09/2018 07:26

Me too @Delilah7 here's to a new day and nearly the weekend!! 😊

purplestar9 · 21/09/2018 07:37

@Crossfitgirl hey! I'm doing okay thank you! The main thing at the moment is if I'm hungry, I feel sick but I'm hungry A LOT! And I don't deal well with feeling sick! The last couple of days I've also had really bad trapped wind pain in my stomach, I just can't shift it, it's driving me crazy! If I wasn't pregnant then I'd be really pissed of with it by now!
@Delilah7 hello 👋🏻 sorry I've not been on in a while! How are you?

feverbee · 21/09/2018 07:38

Finally got a positive OPK this morning at CD 13. The line wasn't too strong but it was there. I tested at 6pm last night and there was nothing, then at 6am this morning there's a faint line. Hoping when I test after work today using the clear blue OPK I'll get a smiley. Planning on DTD today, tomorrow and Sunday to give us the best chance.

If you got a positive opk today would you record in your app you ovulated today? I wasn't sure because it's technically a surge and from what I've read you don't actually ovulate for 12-48 hours. Anyone any ideas? TIA 💕

feverbee · 21/09/2018 07:41

@KeltiBug good luck! Let us know how ya get on xx

KatBeCool · 21/09/2018 07:45

@feverbee 12-48 hours is correct. So definitely not today. For me it's closer to 48 hours as my surge tends to linger longer, plus I temp, and I can kinda feel it too.

Delilah7 · 21/09/2018 07:53

@KatBeCool that's funny. 😂😂😂 im awfully blonde sometimes with things I say so it's just gonna get worse.

@MrsC87 let's try be positive even though we feel negative! I didn't get to DTD last night as we were both knackered so hoping I haven't misssd anything....

@purplestar9 we forgive you your pregnant so we will let you off ;) 😂 I've been ok thank you x

FlapJackered · 21/09/2018 07:59

@purplestar9 so good to hear from you! Glad all is going well! Have you tried googling yoga poses to release trapped wind? There are some good ones! If not I don't know if you're allowed Deflatine? It is amazing for trapped wind.

@feverbee it's difficult to tell if you're not temping but I would say the day after would be ov. One cycle it was the same day for me but otherwise it's been the day after.
