Today i’ll mainly be having a word with myself that at 4DPO they are certainly not pregnancy symptoms 🙄 I forget every month how annoying the 2WW is....

sunshine1987 · 19/09/2018 09:56

@GDOG35 here you go xx

GDOG35 · 19/09/2018 10:12

@sunshine1987 thank you huni, I’m stupid!! Confused any of you lovely ladies tried acupuncture?? X

FlapJackered · 19/09/2018 10:33

@Bettyhop that is great everything is progressing well and you're feeling ok 👌🏻
Keeping my fingers crossed but I have a feeling it will be into the next week.

@poodlepip sorry to hear AF got you. Are you tracking bbt?

@sunshine1987 it is so frustrating isn't it! It goes sooo slowly. I am going to be strict about not testing until I am a day late, but that is over a week away. I think I am going to go crazy! 😬

@GDOG35 I have tried acupuncture but I found it really painful. My sister is having it for fertility and thinks it has helped and it doesn't hurt her. I have heard really good things about it and the NHS recommend it so there must be something to it.

sunshine1987 · 19/09/2018 10:36

@flapjackered, same! Not allowing myself to test until next Friday. I’m normally good with that it’s the symptom spotting with me where I convince myself this is it every month lol x

FlapJackered · 19/09/2018 10:37

*onto the next cycle 🙄

FlapJackered · 19/09/2018 10:43

@sunshine1987 annoyingly my usual AF symptoms are stereotypical pregnancy symptoms so I don't listen to my symptoms at all anymore.
I just always hope AF turns up if it's not going to be a bfp as bfn are so depressing 😩

sunshine1987 · 19/09/2018 10:46

@flapjackered, same! I’ve realised how I feel a week before my period is the same as how pregnant people feel so makes no difference looking into it anymore. The only time I did a test the BFN was worse than coming on, so want to wait as long as possible but my LP is only 11 days anyway so will know by next Friday x

poodlepip · 19/09/2018 10:51

@sunshine1987 and @FlapJackered yeah have been tracking ovulation with opks and last month added bbt. Hopefully it will extend a bit next month :-/

(I know it's early days but have had to wait for 2 years to start trying as have a kidney problem that just stabilised so I am super impatient 😐)

@poodlepip wow your temperatures are really steady, I’m well impressed. Mine don’t stay the same at all, are you using a 2 decimal place thermometer? There are supplements you can take (if you were worried) that try and lenghthen your lutheal phase. Have you spoken to your doctor about it?

poodlepip · 19/09/2018 11:07

@sunshine1987 I know how weird!! I thought my thermometer was broken it was just 36.3 every day! I think I calculated the Fahrenheit bit wrong though and if I have it on that setting it is much more variable so will do that next month.

Having got high dose folic acid and aspirin prescribed but I will have a hunt about the others if still short next cycle and ask them.

Hope your 2ww isn't too painful- at least mine is over quick!

FlapJackered · 19/09/2018 11:12

@poodlepip I have heard good things about vitamin b6 to lengthen luteal phase?
Your temps are amazing, mine are all over the shop!

sunshine1987 · 19/09/2018 11:12

@poodlepip just goes to show how good you are with taking your temp, mines all over the shop! Thank you lovely. Make sure you take some time to yourself, have some wine and then get ready for all of the sex lol x

ValidUser · 19/09/2018 11:34

Mildly hungover but I still love you all.

2 weeks of leave from work. We're both staying in Dublin with family, but will be home for fertile week, so no sexy time in my aunt's house. 😂

Delilah7 · 19/09/2018 11:40

@sunshine1987 I'm the same babe. Convinced I'm up the duff and not 😂😂😂

@ValidUser you make me giggle 😂😂😂

@FlapJackered just looking at options really to help with fertility & also stress. Been researching on it suppose to stimulate your ovaries etc. May give it a go xx

Delilah7 · 19/09/2018 12:35

I'm having a massive cramping session today :(

OP posts:
stormtrooperjulian · 19/09/2018 12:48

Does anyone get a tender lower abdomen before ov? Not cramping, but sore if pushed on, kinda like a muscle after a heavy workout (I know I’m not explaining that very well)! I had it last month, and now I’m approaching ov again it’s back. Am I just weird or do other people get this too?

poodlepip · 19/09/2018 13:48

@stormtrooperjulian oh definitely but hard to work out sometimes if it is before during or after I find

GDOG35 · 19/09/2018 14:07

@stormtrooperjulian I get heavy tummy before usually. I’ve got heavy lower tummy but my period is due tomorrow so have a feeling no success this month Sad

MrsC87 · 19/09/2018 15:09

Hi girls I've been silently watching as been feeling down since AF arrived, finally over it today thankfully! So silly I just couldn't shake the feeling this won't happen for us and it's way too early to be thinking like that. So I've had a good chat with myself (literally, I talk to myself 🤣) and am feeling better!

Girls, the conversation last night did make me chuckle so Thankyou for cheering me up!! 😊

Delilah7 · 19/09/2018 15:18

@MrsC87 aww sorry you're feeling down sweetie xxx

I'm feeling pretty rough today!

Just to update you all...I have been back to hospital today, my hcg levels have increased perfectly and I have had a scan and seen our little pip! Just looked like a teeny smudge but made this all seem SO real. Just wanted to say thank you so so much for getting me through the dark days. Wishing you all bfps soon🤰 xxxx

Delilah7 · 19/09/2018 15:25

@Bettyhop yay!!! love it 😍 so happy for you. Must make it so real. Sending you lots of love and hugs xxxxx
