Hi ladies! Just wondering if anyone else is trying for DC2? Hoping we can support each other through this journey 🙂 I have a soon to be 4 year old, on cycle no 2 and currently waiting to exhale ovulate!

@Ellikopter I'll be doing my 4D scan in March I think when I'll be 30 weeks, hope yours goes well and post a pic! X

Yeah I wanted to do mine later but they recommended earlier so that they could get full image of baby lol x

@Ellikopter that's sensible. I think the clinic I use do 4D scans between 24 and 32 weeks, and I had one at 30 weeks last time that was pretty clear. I'm only waiting that long to break up the time a little, and as a celebration of entering the home stretch! I'm 20 weeks today, still halfway to go! 😅 remind me when your due date is?

so much for waiting for AF due date but I had a moment of weakness... no line of course!

Oh tested because boobs are so sore and swollen def not like last months pre-AF. It’s hard to ignore!!!

Hoping it's ok to join in. Been trying to conceive baby 2 since August but nothing yet. DD (just turned 2) was conceived first month of trying (which I now realise is the exception not the norm) so finding it frustrating.
So grateful to have my little girl but really want another!
It's so nice seeing people's positive outcomes, fingers crossed the rest of us will join in soon.

@Ellikopter oh cool, 3 days ahead of me then, I'm due 30th May 😊 glad that I'm over 20 weeks now and am now halfway - but also depressed that I've still got bloody halfway to go!!! 😂

DD1 is 2yo, trying for number two. AF turned up today, so that’s the end of cycle number 1!

The timing would be sooooooo perfect if we could be lucky next cycle....fingers crossed! (Clearly I’m mad, I know it usually takes much longer, it did with DD1, but I was hugely irregular before DD and am now like clockwork, so I’m convincing myself it will be completely straightforward this time

I love the fact that people have stayed on the thread right into pg, it’s lovely to keep hearing from the success stories

I got a positive today after caving and taking one. So surprised! Not holding my breath yet but going to try and remain hopeful and positive
Sending very positive thoughts to anyone testing in the next few days!

I know I am so lucky to have 1 beautiful DC, but

@planespotting not a lot I can say except I sympathise and know your disappointment. I find having a little cry helps. Even though it's not an actual loss it feels like a lost opportunity and there is still an element of grief involved.

Stay strong, enjoy a drink or some pate or soft cheese or something else you wouldn't be able to do when pregnant and enjoy the next round of BDing.

Sorry to hear that plane, although nice to have an AF buddy . Any good idea for distraction? When I was ttcing number 1 I used to have a celebratory big glass of wine to cheer myself up and to think of the new opportunity next month. Sometimes I’d have stinky soft cheese and pate. I don’t think I feel like that this time. Any thoughts?

I hear you @planespotting - don’t feel bad about your disappointment at all. Just because you already have DC doesn’t make your TTC journey any less important than someone else’s!

My AF is due either 16 or 18 and I’ve gone a little POAS crazy and already 3 x BFN. Going to be sensible now as convinced I’m not PG. Won’t test again until 18th meaning AF is either due or overdue by then.

Hope I have the strength to hold out!!

Period was due Saturday but I did a test then and it was negative. Still no sign of it though. Have amazon primed a couple more tests so I can’t take them until Thursday. By then I’ll probably have come on and won’t waste them. Really trying not to get my hopes up but it’s so hard

I hope so but seems my symptoms are now easing up - less bloated and boobs less sore...

Thanks waiting. Still absolutely no sign of AF but I don’t feel pregnant. In two minds about testing tomorrow. I’m going out for a lovely meal and can’t decide if I’d rather not know so I can enjoy my food and drink, or if I’d feel guilty just in case
