Hi ladies! Just wondering if anyone else is trying for DC2? Hoping we can support each other through this journey 🙂 I have a soon to be 4 year old, on cycle no 2 and currently waiting to exhale ovulate!

Thanks @Ellikopter I hope so too it's 2 weeks late now, how are you doing? Not long till your scan now is it?

Hi @waitingforbaby2 no not long now it'll be 21st. Once your AF arrives you can start planning things more accurately I'm sure.

@Ellikopter I had a private scan this morning and all is well. Baby is measuring ahead so I'm now 11+4 and due on my birthday! We've decided to start announcing to more family / close friends. Will wait until NHS scan in 2 weeks to tell the world x

AF started today I'm quite relieved after just over 2 weeks late @rollerskaterdata congratulations on your scan and @Ellikopter only 10 days left I bet your counting down the days

@waitingforbaby2 you must be so relieved to not be in limbo anymore! Glad AF came in the end, fx for a BFP this cycle x

Glad the scan went well @Rollerskatadata and so pleased AF has turned up @Waitingforbaby2 at least you're not in limbo anymore. I had my booking in appointment last week and im having an early scan on friday.

I keep having obscure dreams that I'm having twins lol I really hope not!

Thank you ladies 😊 I've suffered with so much anxiety this pregnancy and I don't know why, so the scans are really helpful and worth every penny. Looking forward to my NHS scan next week at 13 weeks then I can really relax.

@fizzytonicplease I hope your scan goes well, do let us know. How far along are you now? X

Im just over 7 weeks wilp be nearly 8 when i have my scan, so nervous they wont find a heartbeat.

Right so here comes another dilemma lol

So obviously as AF is here I thought great into cycle 2 but then I always check when I would be due if I got my BFP and it said I would be due 18th aug which is the day after our holiday finishes my holiday isn't abroad so I could still go it's only a two hour drive away however I'm aware due dates could be early or late, first child was 10 days late and only 3 hour labour anyway I'm rambling on about a what if but just wondered what would u do if u had holiday booked, cancel holiday, go anyway or skip month of trying

@waitingforbaby2 that's a tricky one , if it was only in UK I would keep trying, but if you really wanted to go all out and enjoy yourself sometimes a break from trying does a world of good ;)

@fizzytonicplease how funny though if it showed two!!!!!

@waitingforbaby2 I would try anyway, getting preggo is so unpredictable and out of our hands you just never know when it's going to happen! But that's just me, I'm so impatient nothing would've stopped me trying for this baby I'm currently preggo with! Also I had a friend who did that, cancelled holidays and planned her life around having a baby that just never happened. I'm absolutely not saying that will happen to you, I say live life, a baby will slot in nearly anywhere xx

@fizzytonicplease I know it's easier said than done (and I should take my own advice) - think positively. Odds are in your favour everything is fine and you'll see a baby and a heartbeat on Friday! I know how you feel though, scans are equal parts terrifying and exciting! X

@rollerskaterdata @Ellikopter thanks for the advice I think I probably will just carrying on as I don't really want to stop so early on like you said a baby will slot in nearly anywhere also I'm sure with plenty of notice we may even be able to change the holiday date a little

@rollerskatadata you're right, just got to think positive. Fingers crossed for friday, I've also got the date for my 12week scan on the 17th December so pleased its before xmas.

@Ellikopter i would love to record my husbands reaction lol

@waitingforbaby2 yeah i agree I would just carry on as you say you can always change holiday plans with enough notice.

@Ellikopter I managed to wangle another cancellation so my 12 week scan is now on 21st Nov too, how exciting! Hoping we both get good news x

I have a horrible cold right now, which is awful as I can't take much for it. Also got stomach ache and horrendous toothache - I'm falling to pieces! Waiting to speak to the GP again today after talking to them on the phone yesterday too - what's it going to take for me to get a face to face consultation??!

Downloaded that flo app and put in last AF so it worked out next AF should be Monday I've started spotting today though quite light and watery looks kinda pinky red to me not the usual heavy red you associate with AF

Past week have been experiencing sicky feeling after drinking tea and felt quite off all day tues crampy feelings started late wed night is this AF and has came early than predicted or a sign of something else

Kinda worry if we are doing everything right
I came off pill after 14 years in Aug so am I expecting too much too soon

Scan was great, little heartbeat flickering away ( and just one baby lol) measuring 7weeks 6days which is exactly what i thought i was.
