Feeling pretty low - posted on another thread so won't pester you with the details. No other af symptoms yet apart from being very snappy so have a few fingers crossed. Good luck BeckiF - I've everything crossed for you. You all seem to have chosed such lovely names - my DS is Jonathan Douglas. Heaven help us if we have another boy (very probable, given the family history) as we have absolutely no ideas!

Cobweb · 24/08/2004 14:02

Got my fingers crossed for you BeckiF xxx

I am torturing mysel, which I am sure some of you can relate to. My period is due at the weekend, but I keep doing tests, as I am dying to know.

Its the waiting that's doing me in

krocket · 24/08/2004 14:09

fingers crossed becki and good luck to all who are awaiting AF. it's horrible isn't it?

I'm CD6 today so off we go. Can't believe I'm away CD13! how annoying

sweetheart · 24/08/2004 14:11

Cobweb,

I think it's safe to say you can join me and Bibi20 with the obsessiveness.

Constant testing - there seems to be some strange urge to constantly pee on sticks (ovulation or pregnancy tests)

Cobweb · 24/08/2004 16:47

Sweetheart, it's my latest hobby xxx

sweetheart · 24/08/2004 16:56

What is cm (in realtion to ovulation) just out of interest. Just looked on the list of abbreviations and it's not on there!!!

tex111 · 24/08/2004 17:07

Hello ladies!

Sweetheart, cm stands for cervical mucous. You know you're fertile when you're producing cm that looks like raw eggwhite.

Afraid this will be a quickie, almost dinner time here.... Our little boy is named Tobias John and we call him Toby. John is my Dad's name and we just liked Tobias. I looooove names so I've got lists of boys and girls names. My fave girl name at the mo is Sally but not sure about boys, which means we'll probably have another boy.

Nothing going on here. Neg on the OPKs, no cm just waiting and BDing with fingers crossed, but not legs .

Mirage · 24/08/2004 20:04

CD26 here today.I am hoping against hope that its not just my cycle going loopy after stopping The Pill.Usually I get AF every 23 days or so.

DD is 1 on Sunday,so it would be lovely if she had a little brother or sister on the way.Ohh I get excited just thinking about it.

malinki · 25/08/2004 09:00

, DH didn't know what hit him last night, I woke up feeling sick though??? maybe an altitude issue (had to go ontop ladies) DH still has bad leg, but it was funny seeing him hobble about this morning after his performance last night, then at 3.33 am DD (Abigail Chloe), woke me up saying she had had an accident, and spilt some water in her bed, her PJ were soaked, when I investigated she had wet herself and she has been dry for a while now, so I had to strip her bed in the wee hours this morning, anyway CD24 (i think), AF not due until CD32-CD38, so we shall see. Beckif, talk to us as soon as you can and let us know if you're on the Clomid yet

malinki · 25/08/2004 09:04

Talking of names, my DS called her DD Ellie Mae, I like Ellerby, Madison and Megan for a girl, for a boy I would choose Eddison or Timmy John, the only trouble with Timmy John is that I would still be calling him by that name when he was 40, still I would love a little boy, and he could play Rugby for England at Twickers

Fonzie · 25/08/2004 09:08

Morning all. AF due today but no show as yet which is quite unusual. Dare I get my hopes up? DS is being a little toad at the moment and just pushing the limits all the time which isn't helping me feel any better. I even took to the wine bottle last night which isn't like me at all but at least I'd calmed down a bit by the time DS was in bed. Malinki, hope this is your month. At least your finding solutions to the problem

hester · 25/08/2004 10:03

Ooh Fonzie, when are you going to test?

katierocket - we're on the same day of our cycle, I think. Which means I should be trying over this weekend, but a certain person's bank holiday weekend travel plans have put paid to that . So I don't think this will be my month, but you go for it!

BeckiF - how did yesterday go?

Piffleoffagus · 25/08/2004 10:24

Hugs to all those waiting for AF, without a doubt the worst time of all, I've a coupla weeks to wait before that one thankfully and we;re moving house next week so also hope that distracts me enough not to test every day!
Did the BD this AM dh was amazed...
LOL

Fonzie · 25/08/2004 10:59

Not sure really as last time I was pg both tests showed BFN and that was when I was 6 weeks pg. I've decided for the timebeing to wait a few days (if I can stand the suspense) and see what neature brings or doesn't. Also, I've got a day in Glasgow planned at the weekend and so at least that will take my mind off things for a wee while. Strangely enough, the last time I was shopping with my Mum in Glasgow, I was pg with DS1 and had just found out. Maybe it's a good omen!

Cyndii · 25/08/2004 11:37

Fonzie ~ good luck and hopefully it is a good omen! Fingers' crossed!!

Malinki ~ you go girl!! To be honest it's my fav position !!

I don't know about you ladies but I'm wrecked from all the bding ~ poor dh is delighted with all the attention ~ I've love to have the stamina to keep it up all the time but I just don't!!

All the names are lovely really nice!

Fonzie · 25/08/2004 12:58

Cyndii, that's what happened to us last month and as a result, we missed ov day! Remember, it doesn't have to take long to do the deed!

Cyndii · 25/08/2004 13:46

I ovulated yesterday (well if I'm reading the signs properly, my signs are a dull period pain like pain in my stomach. So we did the deed last night so hopefully that covers it for the ovulation and we did it again over the weekend! So we are sexed out!!!!! But if I'm reading everything correct and it doesn't work this month I really am at a loss. Then I'll be signing up with fertility friend......... we shall see......I'm going to try and keep optimistic.
Optimism is the only way forward!!

I never ever thought I'd hear myself say this but......

I'm just having too much sex!!!!!!

I've just finished af and after another wasted month dh and I have decided to try it every other night. I'm going to be shattered - how on earth does anyone get horny that often!!!

I thought I had quite a high sex drive until we started all this ttc melarky!!!!

Tania2 · 26/08/2004 04:43

Malanki - Ellie Mae is a beautiful name will have to mention that one to dh. I know what you mean sweetheart every month we have been bd every second day around ov time and obvisouly that hasn't worked so last month we decided to be everyday even sometimes twice a day and now this month iam soooo over sex that poor dh hasn't had is in 10 days and he is a monster at the moment. What is it with men if they dont get sex they are a**holes (well mine is anyway) how can that be attractive to make me want to do the do. I know i just have to give a little and he is as sweet as pie again. Grrrrr makes me so mad.
Good luck Fonzie hope this is your month

bluestar · 26/08/2004 09:40

Not been around quite so much what with looking for a new job etc. Also have not done any temping or OPK this month and have a vague idea that I will probably ov somethime this weekend/early next week so will try and do some bding then. Too much going on in my life at the moment to concentrate on ttc but maybe this month will be the one when I am not so obsessed!!

MINNIE1 · 26/08/2004 09:47

Hi folks
Can it be possible to concieve 9 days after my A/f as i have a feeling somthing happened last nite.. I have had a m/c 3 months ago What do you ladys think??

Cyndii · 26/08/2004 10:36

Good morning ladies!!

pamina3 ~ your now alone with the obsessive peeing on a stick saga ~ belive me and now that I got my cheapie tests in the post I've tested twice even though there is no possible way it would show that I was pregnant for at least another 10 days or so............... Your married to an Irish man ~ lucky you!!! Yea I'm in Laois, approx 60 miles from Dublin.

sweetheart ~ I'm exhausted too; now I feel we've done our bit and now it's up to the egg & sperm to hopefully do their jobs!! Sounds very basic really but God it is hard!

Bluestar ~ Good luck with the job hunting and fingers crossed for you............

Is there anyone who is due af this week??
