my1stbaby - you have hit the nail right on the head - why did this person take the job of boss over my head while I was off with MC? Good question, and now she wonders why we are not such good friends any more! I am having a tough time with her, I had a blowout with her just now: she accused me of not working hard enough. Cheeky cow. She said "I have a good enough case (of me not working hard enough) as it is" So I asked her to tell me what case she had and she went quiet then. I told her I am looking forward to seeing the case she has against me. More quiet. She refused to tell me what evidence there is cos there is none! She is one of these who thinks she is the only one under pressure/working hard: poor me poor me. She told me a few weeks ago when I was having a bad time with MC "Just put it behind you" And then when I said I couldn't just put it behind me she said all sweetness and light "have I said the wrong thing?" Grrrr.

Yes work knew of the PG and the MC which is why they have offered me the pay rise - can you imagine if it went to a tribunal?

Sounds like she's feeling slightly guilty over what she'd done but instead of admitting it and say sorry she's channelling it in a totally negative way. Did you guys used to be close friends? Maybe there's some jealousy involved on her part? I used to have a colleague that was a bit jealous of me, for the life of me I never found out why or what she to be jealous of!?? Anyway, she made my life so miserable I had to quit the job. Sometimes I still wish I didn't give in so easily but like you, I had other priorities in my life back then. And as for me, went and bought myself some ovulation predictor sticks this morning. At least that way I might have a clue when I ovulate. Period coming early this month has really thrown me (not that I was exactly on the ball re ovulation before).

Got boob pain today but trying not to think about it as I have too long to go!! My mum is staying too, she will be here next week when I find out and DH will be in the UK!!

arh this makes it much easier now just to flip and read like you said fido it was a pain the the arse !!! trying to remember everything

just been for an interview, for a job that i can do standing on my head and the interviewer all but said that i had it exact words "i'll give you a call early next week, but you are exactly the type of person we are looking for" got home and on my mobile was a message offering me the job i interviewed for yesterday!!! just sat & sun mornings as a receptionist at a local gym. am totally in shock!

Sorry going to say the opposite of Scorpio - I would wait Tinbus unless you don't really care about getting a BFN cos you do it too early. When is your AF due??

Thing is lissie....first tme off pill, so possible cycle not 28 days. Only calc'd at that as that is what it was when TTC dd....I was 3 days late & had the faintest of faint lines...if I knew MN exsisted then I would have been on here asking....

I want to give it longer, I don't know why...I'm mad!

fido, yes. its called a chemical pg and is basically a v early mc (had 2)and would rather not know if i am pg at the mo iykwim

sandcastles, give it a few days. evry pg is different and sometimes you need a while for hcg levels to build up

af due today or tomorrow, normaly, 26 day had in the past 27 day... so hold thumbs
i think i'll wait i know deep down i'll be upset,

i'm very pleased to be officially in the 2ww. much as i hated this part of the cycle, i can take comfort from the fact that i did ovulate. at least i can have a tiny chink of hope .

I'm really ashamed to confess my weak will, but I have tested 3 days before af and got a bfn. At least I think I did because I have lost the written instructions. Has anyone got a first response pregnancy stick? If you collect your pee in a container, how many seconds do you place the stick in it?

I won't do the other stick till af due? Would much prefer to get some new clothes than wasting on pee sticks!

Mrs Nutkin, my comments on swimming pool chlorine is just speculation on my part. I do not know if it is harmful or not. My son also enjoys a good splash (4 and a half).
