Hi everyone and welcome to the newbies!

NH - not sure what to say. It seems v strange if you are ovulating so late in your cycle but I'm no expert and there's also the m/c and the pill to take into account. Is there anything else you can use to see if you are ovulating (e.g. the ovulation sticks or temperature) or do these only work if you start doing them at the beginning of the cycle? Sorry not to be more helpful but hope it all works out for you.

Hi Fido, thanks for your post. I don't know either so it's a case of wait and see. Just had a slight cramp for first time since Mon so maybe AF is coming after all.

Does anyone else find it a bit annoying that the bit to post a new message is at the bottom of the whole thread so everytime you keep having to scroll up and down to remember what people said so you can reply approrpriately?! Or is it just me?!

Just read your message about the CM. Exactly the same here - 2nd cycle after mc, don't think I ovd last month but think I did this month. But in both have had loads of CM in the second half of the month which has made me feel falsely optimistic. CD 28 today and yet another BFN (3 now) so I think I have to accept that mc messes you up, even an early one at 5 weeks. Really frustrating

the npoint of this thread is that lots of TTCers are on different TTC threads so this is really a common ground

Morning all! I had a very strange night, woke up about 1.30am with a raging fever, temp was 38.98! Took a couple of aspirins and tried to go back to sleep but only managed snatches of 15-20min. I am feeling so wretched and tired today. I don't think the temp I took for the chart is very accurate but it was high enough for FF software to give me an ovulation date. As I suspected, it was at cd27 so I am actually 3dpo today. This makes this cycle officially the longest I've ever had apart from the one after m/c (7 weeks).

nh and iwillbe: I am also on my 2nd cycle post m/c. 1st cycle was only 24 days, my shortest ever with a luteal phase of 9 days. I wasn't expecting to ovulate at all this cycle as my temp was fairly low for ages and then suddenly it jumped on Tue. I didn't have lots of CM, what I did have was the egg white type I think but it dried up pretty quickly. My OPK was negative throughout, have used about 40 sticks so far! I am not feeling hopeful this cycle as we didn't BD during the crucial times . I'll be relieved when AF comes though so that we can start afresh. Hopefully I'll have a more regular cycle then.

My1st baby - good luck to you, hope it works for you this time. If you OV'd at 27 days, maybe I was that long through my cylce when I OV'd and that is why I have had no period and no BFP yet. I thought I'd OV'd CD20 but then maybe not.... We didn't BD so much after CD20 but all is not lost yet! I am still getting cramps so I am hoping that is my baby growing! (Cramps since last Thurs - eight days ago - but none today as of yet)

Hi iwillbepositive! Didn't realise our situations were so common. Still no period for me (CD37 now) so still hoping! I have had FOUR BFNs by the way (mad neurotic woman in the house!)

Hi Fido - I am on most TTC threads! Thanks for your good luck message. Yes I do find it annoying that the posts run from bottom to top and the box to write in is at the bottom! MN Towers should look at having a more sophisticated chat board (like moneysavingexpert's - top chat board). But good tip from Soph

I am in quite a good mood today cos my work has offered me £1500 a year pay rise because of the dispute I am in with them. Basically when I was off with my MC they promoted someone more junior to me to be my boss . I obviously threatened to take it right to the top and they have been grovelling ever since. I am now on more money than my boss but don't have the stress of the top job!

nh - blimey, wish someone would give me a pay rise like that I´m fuming with my job (Librarian in a school) because all the teachers will be getting a pay rise in December but it doesn´t apply to assistants or admin staff and I work longer hours than the teachers and have to deal with all year groups and only get 50 mins worth of breaktime whereas the teachers get an hour and a half - not fair I say

Wow nh! was fab news. I can't believe they did that, what a shitty thing to do . Good on you for taking them on. It's the least they could do offering you a pay rise. It's incredible that your boss took the job in the first place; did you tell them about m/c? Congratulations on the raise . You never know, you might have another good news in a few days time . Good luck! My DH always said, it ain't over till it's all over! He's right even though I get so annoyed with him for saying that when I am stressing during the dreaded 2ww.

Soph: I am feeling very crap and haven't been able to concentrate on work at all. Have decided to take afternoon off and work from home.

Thats great about payrise nh, also without the stress! Wish I could get a big payrise, went down to working part-time last sept and still can't manage to budget properly!

I did a test this morn and got, what i think, is a v.faint line, however am not sure if it's just an evap. line, am now a mixture of excitement and wariness!! Trying so hard not to get hopes up.
Also still feeling like crap, v.nauseous.

Has anyone else tested today?

hi all, still havent tested, how strong am I?! had backache last night so lay in bed worrying about it, then realised that i hadnt had a poo in 3 days (tmi, sorry)still feel the same tho, sick til about 3pm and exhausted. ive also put on loads of weight in one week! cant do up my baggy jeans (that were baggy a week ago!) and boobs are veiny and HUGE. others have commented so i know its not just me going loopy, but just waiting til sat now. knowing my luck af'll show up in all her glory right on cue! keep me sane, please!
