New thread...

Ready - hugs to you

Minxi - you asked what I did differently this month - I ate like a pig!!!! Instead of dieting, I had bluecheese and all the yummy high fat things I should not have. Someone once said that a high fat diet improves fertiliy, or something like that, so I just took it to heart and got extra fat, now I just look fatter but know that the big belly is going to stay!!!!

Hi to everyone else too.

Hi all. Man it is quiet round here these days!! I could read the thread over the weekend, but for some reason could not post. Probably as DH was hogging the wifi on myspace!!

I have decided to make my chart public on FF...The Nappy Chart in the hopes that maybe the Pregnancy Panda can see it!!!

Had eventful weekend in Yorks with DS getting chickenpox. Although I have had it, I was still glad to not be pregnant just in case.

Sorry you are at the end again Ready. I know what you mean though when those cramps start you jsut want to get back to mid-cycle as soo as possible. How are you finding not temping??

mum03 that sounds like the best thing I have heard in ages!!!

Just popping in to say hello and giving you all big hugs. Great to see Mum03 graduate . Hope you all have good news soon.

I like the 'eat all you like' philosophy to Mum03's success.

Best of luck,

Forgot to put myself back to the top of the list on Monday. 9 day LP again - but mum03 has made me feel fine about that by getting her BFP on LP7. Just need to work on DH. Have to say he is being fabulous - taking his pills (as long as I hand them to him), drinking smoothies and copious amounts of water, eating bananas (I'm working on other fruit), and nuts and has halved his alcohol intake (taking it down to recommended levels).

We are expecting an appointment at the sub-fertility unit in November, will hope to see an improvement in his results by then. Hoping more for a BFP first, but we'll see how it all goes.

STILL suffering from tiredness. Have made appointment to see doc on tuesday (scary I HATE doctors!:0)

But ever hopeful for a successful month so will keep going. The nausea seems to have ebbed though.

Hi all, can't stop at the moment will be back for a chat soon

NappyValley · 27/06/2007 19:13

duchesse R U there. Getting ready for action???

Ready · 28/06/2007 12:26

Hi ladies. I am really down in the dumps at the moment, so my time on MN is sporadic. I just can't seem to summon the enthusiasm I once had.

Rattling - Fingers crossed all goes well with the sub-fertility clinic. What is the significance of bananas by the way?

NappyValley - I have to admit I started temping again ... I had a progesterone test to book in for, so I needed to be sure when I had ovulated, as Day21 is not 7dpo for me. But I haven't wanted to post on here as it was part way through the cycle. I may start posting again next month... alternatively, my chart is online if anyone wants to nose

How is everyone else? I am sorry if I have lowered the mood somewhat with my little moan...

Afternoon all. I think I ovulated early this month, the deeds were done, just need to sit back and wait for the inevitable period.

Hey=ho. Hope all well.. Have hardly been on MN for days.

OP posts:
rattling · 28/06/2007 12:40

Sorry, have I prompted panic banana buying? Just the only fruit I can tempt him with during the day. Lots of fruit based puddings at the moment though.

Lovely to hear from you again Ready. I am with you on the waning enthusiasm. I've worked out with NHS waits around here, if I have to go down the IVF route, if I'm lucky, I'll be pregnant early 2009. So really have to think of a few other things to do with my life until then.

Ready · 28/06/2007 12:46

So it's more a fruit thing, than a banana thing. Cool.
Shit. I hadn't really thought about it all in terms of timescales - if we need assisted conception, we'll be a childless couple for a long while yet

NappyValley · 28/06/2007 22:25

Hey all. finally managed to get online after having to do various jobs tonight including fixing our wifi setup!!

Totally forgot to temp today and forgot to do OPK test. Which is stupid really as I will be annoyed if we don't get on with it this monht, but just too tired all the time and cannot summon energy.

Sorry that we are all feeling a bit lack lustre at the mo. Ready I have always admired your positivity, which is TOTALLY allowed to wane. I think you guys are right though about getting on with life/ other hobbies. Before DS I remember having to make a tough decision about a promotion and at the end of the day you cannot put your life on hold waiting for pg. When it happens there will be many changes you have to make so you might as well get busy now. Take up a new hobby, plan a holiday anything!

Hang in there girls 2009 may seem a long way away, but the wait will be worth it.

OK I will shut up now!!

GROUP HUG

Girls, I know how you feel - I too am fed up this cycle maybe its the weather - rain !! Dh home yesterday but too tired to get any action and so I fear this month is going to be lost on no time/tiredness etc - will try today and this weekend...but we are also away at a wedding ao life is just hectic.
Anyway group hug is good idea nappy will chat later

Ready - I'm so sorry your feeling so down, I'm afraid I've lost all optimisim as well - although I have spoken to a couple of people in the last week who had taken at least a year ttc before they fell for their first babies. I know that proberbly won't help but I have to keep that in mind otherwise I end up thinking the worst about my fertility! (or lack of I should say)

minxi - I know what you mean about too tired to get some action, I'm only on CD6 and I'm tired even thinking about whats coming up!! Although it's my first month properly temping and just hope that I am ovulating. The last time I did temping I was ill and I was all over the place so didn't really know if I ovulated or not.

Nappy, duchesse, thinking - hope your all ok

Tis going to be the longest 2ww ever... Do you lot think that if one were to ovulate early, say day 10, that the next period comes at the same time it would have come, or does it come roughly after the same length of luteal phase?

OP posts:
minxi · 29/06/2007 11:52

usually once you have ovulated your period would be 10 - 14 days later i.e. however long your luteal phase is ? I believe!

Ready · 29/06/2007 12:12

As far as I understand it, the luteal phase is the consistent part of the cycle (fluctuating my a day or two max, is what I read!). If ovulation occurs early, then the cycle will be shorter. I know myself that when I ovulate later, my cycle is longer.

Yup if you OV early, then your cycle should be shorter..... OR you get your BFP early!!

I really think this weather is getting everyone down. We need our 2 weeks of sun for the year.

Gracie I feel for you hun, but yes a year is normal. I know that helps v little with the way you feel. It took us 11 months with DS. Felt like a lifetime at the time.

mmm this is cycle 11 for me this time round - no pressure!!!!!

minxi · 29/06/2007 17:16

I am confused....ovulation pains(cd10/11) beginning of the week then ewcm today (cd14)...haven't focused enough on temperature....have I ovulated already ?

Thinking · 29/06/2007 20:25

ewcm is usually just before ovulation, so go forth and get babydancing

Sadly, this month is out for us, I realised my DH is away the weekend I will be ovulating...so it will be practising for us this month

But there is ALWAYS next month and this way I have nothing to worry aboug during the two week wait and lots of time to drink wine

fettleandminifettle · 29/06/2007 21:43

Hi girls

sorry just popping in. Thinking don't write off this month because DH is away. Ready will vouch for the fact that another gradate of this thread, Greedy, conceived while her DH was away in US. He obviously had rambo sperm that lasted up to a week!! Definitely worth a shot!

How's everyone else?

Ready - how you doing sweetheart? how's the house? Any news on DH's job?

All well here, cant believe nearly at the 3rd trimester. Getting more tired again, but wouldn't change it for the world. It's been worth the 2 years trying to get here. Hang in there! It will happen!

Still thinking about you all lots.

Thinking · 29/06/2007 22:41

That's interesting I might have to pin him down before and after his trip away just in case
