May Bus

I know a few people will unfortunately be joining me eventually so I figured I'd get this bus going.
My cycles are crazy and averaging 60 days and I don't think I've ovulated yet so I'm out for April.

Age: 27
TTC: #1
Cycle: #4 (month 8)
CD: #25

Not holding much hope for conception at the moment but I've got to wait until August anyway.
Such an optimistic person to start the new bus!

@spottyyellowdress are you ok? Did you have to go to hospital?

I've been spotting the past couple of days so I'm definitely out now. It's cured my POAS addiction if nothing else!

Pleased to see lots of BFPs though ! Pass is some of that luck for the June bus please!

@silverpenguin @hidcat no went to the jewellers in the hope they had some amazing trick to get it off...instead they just cut through! And the massive kicker was...’are you pregnant?’ Erm no, just fat fingered. Brilliant.

For next time - though I hope there isn't one - I don't know how easy it is to do at home but in a&e they sometimes use a trick with a length of elastic - there are YouTube videos of it.

Argh, have just looked ahead on my app and I’m away for my next 2 fertile weeks 😫 this is our first month back to TTC after skipping March and April for timing reasons (so our 4th month TTC altogether). So annoying that if it doesn’t happen this month it will be AUGUST before we can try again 😭😭😭

Ok, I haven’t monitored my temperature the entire month. Infact I’ve only been doing it 1-2 dpo. However it has been rising! It started at 35.8 and this morning it was 36.6 Is this a sign of anything? Currently 7-8 dpo and driving myself mad!! 🤣

@babybeany if it stays up I think that’s a good thing?!

@frowningflamingo I tried that one - the ring cut my finger once it got past the knuckle! Never had a problem getting it off before. Bizarre.

I'm meant to be 16dpo today and now I'm panicking because my tests are still super light. Worried it's not meant to be.
Also trying to talk myself down because it wasn't fmu I used today so it could be that.

@Aph414 try not to panic and stress. Easier said than done I know. Your hormone level just might not be that high. Also, your FMU is definitely the clearest way to tell. Enjoy your bank holiday and set your alarm for the morning. Otherwise you could try holding your pee for 4-5 hours? But don’t over drink as it can dilute the wee 😊 x

I got a bfn yesterday on a frer (thought I saw a squinted but think I was just wanting to see something) currently CD29 when I’m usually 24 days so don’t know what to think right now, weighed myself and still no usual pre menstrual gain, normally put on a good couple of pounds right before af arrives, surely if I was pregnant it would show on a frer by CD28? Might get another if no af today (who am I kidding I won’t be able to not!)

@babybeany I guess the panic is that todays line is weaker than one from Saturday that was from a 1 hour hold.
I know I can't do anything about it, might get my husband to lock the tests away and just try to accept the result for as long as my period stays away

Someone have a word with me. Felt so dizzy and tired since yesterday and woke up with sore throat today so POAS! I'm 7dpo max. Why can't I resist?!! Staring at an ic on one leg with one eye closed by a window now!

Thanks MaGrat I'm just terrified now. Burst into tears telling my mum this morning. She just told me to put it out if my mind because I can't do anything about it either way, which is true, just not the most comforting thing.
I can however just about squint something on your test. Try again in a few days

I'm at work haven't had a bank holiday off in years. Think I get extra holidays in lieu

@babybeany ha I know, I'm a bit obsessed already but it's only ICs so they don't really count eh?! I'm either due at the weekend or the following Wed as my cycle length varies. According to when I think I oved, earliest I'm due is this time next week. Soooo exhausted though, cramping, nausea, sore bbs. And light headed, but it's probably just the sun.

@MaGratgarlik1983 I’m due af a week tomorrow. Normally a 28 day cycle on the nose. Lots of cramping and have had thrush for about 5-6 days now! I’m too scared to use a pessary as the packet says not to use if pregnant or ttc. If I’ve been uncomfortable all this time and could’ve used a pessary to clear it all up I’ll be gutted! My bbt is rising as the days continue so keeping everything crossed! X

@LookingAtTheStars89. I completely missed ovulation this month 😢 had one day upon my return from a girls city break where there could have been a slim chance BUT when I returned home my DH had a viral infection so we haven’t dtd at all this cycle!! Hows you? Xx

I’m out :( period came early this month. For the last 5 months they have been between 24-40 days (only one 40 day cycle). Blumin pcos. Surely if I’m having periods I’m ovulating? Even if they change by about 3-5 days a month

Hi all - hope everyone has had a good bank holiday weekend and congrats to the BFPs!

I've been away with Europe with friends. One particular friend didn't have a single alcoholic drink, any cheese and wouldn't have a steak or any other meat. She was obsessed with ice cream and had quite a few naps....wonder what that could be about 👀 It was an unintended baby bomb but very hard to take when you're feeling like shit. I have extreme guilt for drinking during the 2WW and have just had some spotting today at 10DPO (AF due Saturday but based on how bloated, spotty and moody I am I think it'll be tonight/tomorrow).

Gutted.

@clairehr Ovd at CD12 which seems earlier than what OPKs have told me the past 2 cycles...who knows! I carry on reminding myself that at least that means I've ovulated...how are you getting on??

I’m really clutching at straws here - 13dpo, af due tomorrow, spotting’s stopped, a couple of cramps, but temp’s highest it’s been all week...obv bfn today but anyone reckon I’m still in with a shot?? 😂

I am worried about my temp. It's been up and down like a yoyo all month so far. Either I'm not testing right or there is something wrong with me...

@spottyyellowdress We did, I really just tried to not to pay attention and enjoy my own ice cream but it was hard. Also - it ain't over til it's over - and that's when AF arrives. Some people take weeks to get a BFP. Fingers crossed for you!!

@justliketheysaid You do have a few see through dots on that chart which are usually time warnings, but if you've tried to do it after a solid period of sleep then the results should still be fairly accurate. Mine looked like that until I ovulated and now I've got the same temp (with a 0.02 degree variation) every day, which I'm now worrying about as it's not like any other chart that I've seen trying to remember everyone is different and there is no 'correct' chart which definately means BFP/N x
