May Bus

I know a few people will unfortunately be joining me eventually so I figured I'd get this bus going.
My cycles are crazy and averaging 60 days and I don't think I've ovulated yet so I'm out for April.

Hi ladies mind if I join? Been to EPU today for some checks after MC in January and they seem to think AF is imminent but no signs of ovulation yet so won't be TTC til after I've had my period.

Was 5 days late last cycle, which made me super excited despite the bfns (because obviously in my head I just ovulated late and those period like cramps were defo implantation cramps right? 😂) But my period showed up yesterday in full force 😂 good luck guys xx

Last period arrived on first day of “romantic” mini break over husbands birthday. Next one due to arrive on my birthday.

Going to use OPKs again this cycle and try to have as much sex as we can, don’t think we’ve been having enough as my mental health hasn’t been great which doesn’t do much to put you in the mood.

@Verysmallcat that's pretty much what I did this cycle too (only 1 day late before AF showed!). I hate it when you convince yourself that period symptoms could be pregnancy symptoms! This TTC malarkey is making me a little crazy! 😂

No AF for me yet, but BFN this morning on a frer so I'm joining if that's ok :D

CD: currently on 35 and waiting for AF to turn up. I've PCOS and endometriosis which affects my cycles, but they've been nice and regular since about september last year. Think that nice run of luck might be about to expire...sigh.

Am thinking about tracking less obsessively and just shagging a LOT...i think i'd be happier if i could just realise some point that i was on cycle day 60 and hadn't had a period, do a test and get a nice strong line, rather than torturing myself over whether or not there's a faint line, or just a shadow from the bathroom lights...

Going to try give up the apps this month, don't think they are helping anyway. I am going to give opks a go though and just keep having more sex.

AF friends up exactly as scheduled by my app (but not by my calculations) this morning. Ding ding for the May bus!

Well I juat discovered a groupon for clearblue ovulation tests. Half price for the digital advanced tests, just ordered myself 40. I will find out when I ovulate.

Oooh damn @Aph413 I've just spent a small fortune on a load off Amazon! Might check out that groupon anyway though for future months (joining you in the boundless optimism for this cycle haha).

Can I join, still waiting on AF due today, still no sign but 3 negative pregnancy tests later. I'm just waiting for AF to stop the torture of maybes and come already.

No symptoms except headaches. Can't remember how I felt with DS1 was so long ago. Just wanna curl in a ball tbh, feel very deflated this month. Why'd I book three days off on the lead up to AF?

Have been waiting (for various reasons) to start TTC since May last year so nervous, excited, nervous etc...eep. Trying not to become obsessive from the off, but I doubt that will work.

I have started using OPKs. So far this month they are negative. Last month the positive came up on CD12 so I'll keep checking. I'm hoping O is going to happen in the next couple of days...

@helloworld88. Had to have a vent yesterday. AF was 2 days late and I kinda got my hopes up. Was brought back to earth with a thud the moment she showed! Currently on cycle 6 so fingers crossed x

How has ttc turned me into an emotional jealous person! Met cousins beautiful 1 week old baby today, perfect baby. And I was so jealous of them, it isn't like me.
Family also keep asking when will you have a baby and it's getting harder to just brush off. I know they mean well but I want it to be our turn so much!
Plus I'm getting a cold so feeling sorry for myself. Sorry to rant.
Fingers crossed this is all our month. Hope all you ladies are keeping spirits up better than me.

country I totally get what you mean. The lady I am covering on Mat leave came in with her 8 week old and after much deliberation, I had a cuddle with her and I was so overcome with sadness and jealousy. My grandmother is ill and the first time she said to me today was ‘ when am I going to get another great grandchild?’. I don’t have the heart to tell her we’ve been trying and failing for 18 months

@Justwaitingforaline it's a weird feeling, being hit with sadness while holding a perfect baby isn't it. I feel guilty when I say these things, we've only been trying 6 months, really don't feel I deserve to moan.
Never say your failing though.

First cycle post MMC and D&C in early March at 10 weeks

My period finally arrived today after an anxious wait - unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to conceive straight away. Still, incredibly relieved that my body seems to be getting back to normal. Hopefully I'll be luckier this month!

First post! (Please keep me right ladies!)

CD: 13 (with a temp rise and high fertility ov. test)
AF due 07/05

My husband (33) and I (27) got married last June but due to a crazy 2017 with family illnesses and bereavements we only stopped taking Cerelle in November 2017 (before this I was on microgynon as a teen then the mirena for 5 years). Had a 4 day period 6 weeks after stopping the pill (December 2017) but nothing again till a 5-6 day real period (definitely felt worse than the first one!!) at the beginning of April 2018.

So I guess this is the first proper month of trying!

Using the "Clue" app to track, taking daily morning temperature and started using the Clear Blue Advanced Digital Ovulation tests (I'm one of those super organised people)...

CD 11 - negative test
CD 12 - flashing smiley (high fertility)
CD 13 - flashing smiley (high fertility)

Keeping testing in hope of seeing that static smiley which means peak fertility! And trying every 2nd day till that peak appears!

One thing that make things a little more challenging (psychologically) is that I'm actually a Sonographer! Lots of extra knowledge and introducing couple to their lovely little babies every day
