Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

Thanks @applesauce1 , do you know what I don't envy you - hate the 2ww! I prefer this end of the cycle cos feel all full of hope and near the end I get more and more despondent and crazy haha!! But not long to wait for you now hopefully, everything crossed! @HoneyCake86 lovely to see a scan pic, hope it is going well for u!!

Congratulations on the BFPs so far - lovely little Christmas babies 😍 And sorry to those with BFNs.

I'm CD13 & had positive OPK yesterday but they've faded again today - no idea what that means (last month I had 2 days of dark lines) but we are still following SMEP regardless
. DTD yesterday (our first wedding anniversary 😊) and also this morning before DH went to work.

Sorry for TMI but I only had EWCM about 4 days ago and since then it's just kind of watery. Am drinking grapefruit juice though in hopes it will help. The other thing I've been doing is checking the position of my cervix - it's crazy to me how much it has moved over the past week and how different it feels! The only thing is...now I know if it starts coming down again that I'm not pregnant. I guess that will save me some money and stop me from wanting to POAS 😂😂

Been trying for 5 months now, on cycle 6 and due in 5 days. I'm 32, DH 39. Have on DC already and we got lucky with him on the first cycle and would really reallly love another sibling for him now. Really hoping this is the month!

Got some sore boobs but can't say if it's more or less than usual PMS.

What tests are the most accurate?

@xLauraa. Yeah I'm glad I have the appointment date but reading what other people have said, I'm probably going to be dismissed by them because my weight isn't low enough. :-(

@flyingplum. Do you get cervical mucous? Some ladies with PCOS get it all the time or at random times during the month but I only get it for 5-6 days, two weeks before my period arrives.

Just turned 30, ttc#1 and this is cycle 9.

9dpo, caved and tested today - had a second line which was fat and smudgy but obv got my hopes up...then nothing on the test I tried straight after :(

Think I’m 9dpo today. How bloody hard is it not to test!! Although Iv been getting strong period cramps on and off and feel very much like af is on the way, also tender boobs but that’s normal :( boooo

Looks like I'm getting off the bus at the next stop. Stupid husband has fractured his hip slipping on the snow today. Is it bad that I'm not more sympathetic towards him!?

Ugh caved and tested. BFN. I don’t know why I bother, it always makes me feel worse - at least when AF turns up you know you’re onto a new cycle.

@LookingAtTheStars89 - my understanding of the EWCM and pcos is that it is a sign your body is gearing up to ovulate, not proof that you do actually ovulate. So as hormones fluctuate with the pcos you can have EWCM at various times as your body tries (and sometimes fails) to release an egg. For me, generally, EWCM roughly translates to AF 14 days later, with the odd blip on some cycles (though, I also have endometriosis and endometrial cysts, and I actually think it is they, rather than the PCOS that really messes with things for me. Fluctuating unpredictable cycles are usually accompanied by a rupture eventually).

Sorry @ronniemipperton - I've tried really hard to resist, in part because my cycles are unpredictable anyway so hard to know if a negative is really negative, or just too early. Caved last month though, much squinting for 24 hours then AF turned up almost exactly on schedule. Going to resist v hard this month.

Thanks @flyingplum. That’s the other reason I shouldn’t have tested - had a 49 day cycle last month which meant a ton of pointless POAS. I think I hadn’t ovulated last month though (pretty sure I did this time). Either way definitely makes more sense to hold off.

@mscongeniality. Pink dye pregnancy tests seem to be very popular. I’ve only ever used a FRER and always found them pretty good. As have many others on this thread. Good luck x

Hi @Spottyyellowdress your first smudged line might still be a positive! Try to use your first morning urine. Otherwise your hgc level won’t be as high.

I'm curious. Do you guys have sex during the TWW? Do you have a boning breather?
I'm so irregular that we carried on one week into the TWW, but now anticipating a sex break.

I'm currently experiencing some familiar feeling period cramps. Temp still high but feel sure it will drop tomorrow.
