March bus - bfp’s welcome.

AF arrived today so I am now hoping for a March bfp.
This is cycle 6, ttc #2. Aged 32.

Never started a thread before, so hopefully you will join & we can symptom spot together!

@passtheaftereights thanks for the cold remedy...might have to try it if we’re not feeling any better tomorrow! We’ve both been eating extra healthily & started taking vitamins recently....fat lot of good it’s doing clearly! Dh keeps saying that it better happen this month as he’s desperate for a takeaway!

I've woken up to do my bbt and I haven't dropped, is it still possible for AF to arrive without a drop in temp?

Also just used one of the pregnancy tests I got from the trial, I was saving it for today and it came up with an error! I've taken that as a sign I need to be patient! Gonna try and hold off until Monday when they have told me to test 🙈

Omg just done my test and have 2 lines! We've been trying for #2 for a while now so it's a bit of a shock.
To say I'm scared is a understatement as had quite a traumatic time with my first pregnancy but trying to stay calm!

Feel a bit shocked tbh @sodababy2, have no right to I know. Thought the post-mc fertility surge would help us, we dtd a lot and exactly when we should, symptoms were nuts (they're not this morning, incidentally). Starting to get a bit panicky now. Was last month to have a baby before 34. Oh fuck I'm fed up. sorry to rant - hope you have something nice planned today? Off for DH birthday fun, neither of us could feel less like it xx

Congrats @tryingfornumber2kids! How long have you been trying?

I know @PassTheAfterEights I was exactly the same this month - lots of DTD at the right time etc and thought this mythical post mc fertility surge would work. So fed up. Really wanted a small age gap between kids and it's getting bigger every month I'm not pregnant. And I'm getting older too - I'm 35 now. Hope you and your DH manage to enjoy birthday celebrations. I guess I'll see you on the April bus?

@Emilyrose1290 yeah totally fed up got a headache as well now need to try and relax this weekend dh wanted to dtd tonight so I need so how willing hehe albeit impossible to get pregnant today

I'm 8-9 DPO. No symptoms at all except a weird pinching pulling feeling in my right side which could very well just be from sleeping funny. Just want he next 5 days to fly in and have some answers soon. I would normally start to get sore boobs tomorrow night based on when AF is meant to be due.

How’s everyone been today? I’ve been hanging out with my sister in law all day, she’s 25 weeks and due in July. I love her to bits but it’s been so hard as baby talk all day, and no one knows we’ve been TTC since around the time they conceived. Pleased for them of course but been really tough going. Have you guys told people you’re TTC? How do you manage the questions ‘when’s it your turn’ etc?

@Emilyrose1290 hi sweets been mad googling gas and bowl movement symptoms today lol sorry tmi! I've also started spring cleaning because we've had snow so not been able to get out. I've given up not not telling people we are ttcing if I people guess I basically say "ah you know if it happens it happens" whilst inside dying a little more that it's still not happening lol that's why I'm a serial mumsnetter!

I've been with a good friend and her PFB today. I should have had two children before her then in a cruel twist of fate I had an erpc for my third pregnancy the day before she had a planned section for PFB.

We were celebrating PFB,s 1st birthday. I am over the moon for her. Baby is beautiful, amazing but it is a big reminder of what I could have had and I am definitely envious of the family life. It's so tough.

No1 apart from my DM asks if we're TTC but I'm quite open about it because of my history. I'd rather people ask than look which happens A LOT at work. Hate it.

@Emilyrose I know how you feel, my cousin and I found out we were pregnant at the same time last October with pretty much the same due date. I lost my baby but thankfully, her pregnancy has been fine. I’m so happy for her and I don’t see her often but when I do, I have to hold back the tears. It reminds me that I should be 24 weeks now
However, I’m feeling pretty optimistic this month. Hoping that a positive mental attitude will get me my BFP 7dpo tomorrow so a few more days until I’m testing! So nervous 😬
