March bus - bfp’s welcome.

AF arrived today so I am now hoping for a March bfp.
This is cycle 6, ttc #2. Aged 32.

Never started a thread before, so hopefully you will join & we can symptom spot together!

I'm starting to symptom spot even though I told myself I wouldn't this month. Imagining all sorts when of course it would be way too early anyway at 4dpo...

@Owlpatrol. I have a March birthday too :-) lol @ sexy pants, I just wear black ones! I'm a size 16 and after 3 children - No one needs to see me in sexy pants

@Owlpatrol. I had the best bra from there once, it made my boobs look HUGE and pert lol, even DH mentions it now and again ha ha.

@LookingAtTheStars Curvy Kate pants rock! I have three DDs and the stomach to show for it, they have plenty of sexy stomach covering things!

@LookingAtTheStars89. Af is due anytime between 10th and 14th March so still got a while to wait before I test.

I am joining you all in the sexy pants brigade. My FW is starting today and I need to focus on convincing the DH its not a strategic DTD.

This is my favourite time of TTC. The calm before the TWW symptom spotting, POAS and then crossing my fingers looking for a positive line.

Does anyone have any other tips for keeping things fresh? We got very stressed DTD to a schedule last month. I am trying to keep it relaxed this month.

@SqidgeBum. It's sometimes good to be suggestive beforehand, you know, the odd ass squeeze, kiss or telling them they look hot. Dressing up is good, sticking a bit of make up and perfume on whilst rocking some stockings and a sexy bra. My DH likes it when I dress up.

Sorry to hear you're out @Owlpatrol. But yay for sexy pants!!

I poas this morning, because Ovia told me to, bfn of course. I'm not sure how many dpo I am, as with everything that's happened this month I gave up on the OPKs, but I THINK I may have ovulated at around cd12, which would make me around 15 dpo... So a bfn on a frer now surely means I'm out.
AF is due on Thursday, so just want her to hurry up now. On to another round of possible Xmas baby making!

Lol I'm hoping I'm off af by Sunday as it's my birthday next week so sexy pants are in order. I know what you mean though about keeping it fresh because it's not was. Favourite time to dtd is Sunday morning can roll back over for a nap (for those of us without dd' s!) If you can stomach the morning breath 😂😂

Ye Owlpatrol our favourite time is Sunday afternoon after going out for a nice mid morning walk. But we are TTC #1 so we have that luxury.

How old are your DDs?

@LookingAtTheStars Mine are 11, 8 (although 9 in a couple of weeks) and 6. We figure can can fit one very small baby in, the DDs love the idea of another sibling!

Sexy pants were highly successful last night, should manage another DTD session before the TWW starts.

AF arrived here a day early! Saved me a fortune on tests so... that’s a silver lining. Bang goes the old wives tale of being super fertile after a mc 😂 since I have short cycles I have another shot at the March bus!

Hello ladies can I jump on the March bus?

TTC #1.
Had first AF post-early miscarriage on Feb 21, so I'm hoping that means things are normalising a bit.
Will be due next AF March 18/19 but really hoping for a BFP instead.

I'm on a lot of funny shifts at the moment though and don't see DH as regularly as when I'm on more normal shifts...I think we may have to schedule some BDing!

Anyone else TTC whilst working odd shifts? Any tips to get the balance right between DTD regularly enough around odd shift patterns and not making it too planned?

@Tefiti2 I know I was also hoping to make use of the so-called "super-fertility" post mc, but no luck in the first month. Some people seem to think the increased fertility is for around 6 months post mc though? Fingers crossed!

@Funkyemzie I don't think there is any hard evidence for this but a lot of hearsay! There is definitely evidence that women are more likely to have a successful pregnancy (ie carry to term) if they conceive within the first 6 months post-miscarriage www.rcog.org.uk/en/news/rcog-statement-on-women-dont-need-to-delay-getting-pregnant-after-miscarriage/

@strawberrye thats a good read and reassuring. I haven't quite finished my natural MC yet, on day 14 today and still got a BFP on hpk so consultant said I have to wait another 2 weeks for hpk to be completely BFN. So...I have a question about POAS timing. My cycles are irregular, so it's difficult to judge when AF is due. Flo is adamant that today is ovulation, and so AF should arrive on the 15th of March. However, based on my CM observations, i reckon ovulation happened somewhere between teh 19th and 21st of Feb.

My LP is usually about 14-18 days...do I test if AF doesn't show up mid-next week, or am I just setting myself up for a fall? Also....would temping help with any of this confusion? I'm not sure whether it helps or not in terms of irregular cycles and PCOS?

In my inexperienced opinion, if you aren't tempting or doing OPK's (which are a gag anyway) then I would advise to go with your instinct, that app doesn't know your cm and is going off probably averages.

I personally do temp, got preg in december using temp and also SMEP.

If you have a gut feeling that that was your ovulation then could approx 12-15 days after and either try to test with FRER or wait for af. Good luck hun. 💗

oh yeah, I know it's going off averages; I'm so irregular i've been using an app for ages just to keep track of things - just wondered whether I should wait a bit extra time so I didn't get myself disappointed by testing too early. This is early days for us, but still...have been reading too much into 'symptoms' this month that are most likely caused by entirely other things. Thanks for the advice @Funkyemzie :)

@strawberrye @Tefiti2 Another one hoping for increased fertility after miscarriage. Started bleeding Sunday 18th so counting that as CD1. Negative HPTs now so hoping for normal cycle. To be honest I think I'll be devastated if it's bfn this month - I'm pinning quite a lot on the rumour of higher fertility!!

I am new to this game but have been symptom spotting like crazy and spending way to much time on Google. I had big, painful and veiny boobs which might be normal at this stage ( never checking them on a normal cycle) and lots of pimples which might be due to the horribly cold weather those last few days...
I got my first BFN this morning.
My cycle are usually between 35 and 39 days so I am not sure when I ovulated... Probably around 10 days ago according to cm.

Anyway, good luck for everyone in march.
