March bus - bfp’s welcome.

AF arrived today so I am now hoping for a March bfp.
This is cycle 6, ttc #2. Aged 32.

Never started a thread before, so hopefully you will join & we can symptom spot together!

I'm so worried there's something wrong with me. I can't help thinking that it's not a coincidence that I keep getting flu like symptoms and fever days before my periods. I just don't know what would cause that though.

Is anyone else utterly fed up of dtd? My DH and I have been dtd every other day and it’s getting really tiring! Supposed to dtd tonight and I can hardly keep my eyes open. DH is knackered as well 😢

Really didn’t think we’d get to this stage of trying. But I’m trying to be more relaxed about it now. I’ve stopped opk-ing as I pretty much know when I ovulate now. Have learnt so much about my cycles over past 7 months! I still chart bbt just to confirm when ovulation occurred.

@bubblybrit yes I am a bit fed up of dtd! We’ve been trying for what feels like so long that we have cut back on dtd as we were trying to do every day/every other day at one point! Not sustainable!

Yep I'm totally fed up and I'm trying really really hard to put on a brave face for dh but he knows. My work life is shit and I've put off a lot of things for ttcing and I thought it's happen so much quicker. Now I'm faced with what to do next ie start investigations but dh thinks we only need to dtd more which doesn't help Sad sorry to rant!

P.S. I'm turning 30 next month and I can't face it I have to put a brave face on for family friends etc but all I want to do is drink gin in a dark room and cry lol

@bubblybrit. Hey chicken :-) I am sick to death of dtd lol! By the length of this cycle I may well have ovd on something silly like cd13 so thinking I wasn't going to ov until later we dtd mainly after that. We only did it on cd12 before that!

I really thought we would have conceived quicker than this and I am beginning to get frustrated.I was convinced February was our month but AF arrived today 2 days late.
The plan this month is to dtd every other day rather than sporadically like we have been doing. Good luck ladies.

Sorry @Owlpatrol and @lookingatthestars89 - but you’re not out until the witch arrives! Really keeping fx for you both. Only 4dpo here too but just not feeling it, boobs sore already, and keep comparing things to my CP last month in which my boobs didn’t get sore until like 9dpo!

@FruitandNutty. I was using OPKs as well but found them kinda stressful. Plus my DH didn’t like performing on demand! So decided on more relaxed approach this cycle but every other day is a lot and I’m just knackered and feeling sorry for myself 😢

@Owlpatrol. Feel free to rant away! I’m trying to keep things erm...exciting but failing miserably. I’ve got such a stressful sales role that I just want to curl up on the sofa at night. Plus I travel quite a bit so not even convinced we are dtd at the right time when I’m home.

@LookingAtTheStars89. I’ve stopped trying to track ovulation but means that we need to dtd every other. Don’t know what’s worse 😢

@owlpatrol I’m sorrh your having a tough time, Rant away it’s good to get things off your chest and this is a good place to do it, but don’t give up hope until af actually arrives.

CD 21 now, feel like this cycle is going very slow Don’t think I’ve ever wanted to get to period week so quickly if that makes sense, just to know if This has been our month or not.

@Owlpatrol go to your GP, it's worth knowing right? We've only been TTC properly 3 cycles but i went from the start! I understand some doctors will turn people away who are only starting out but luckily I have a lovely doctor now!

Also, I'm out I think this month 😣 I kinda half expected it to happen this month so feeling rubbish! Was hoping it would get me out of competing this weekend 😂

Aw I am sorry @lookingatthestars89 it’s so frustrating! @owlpatrol it’s not Over until af arrives. I think I mentioned before that I had a bfn at cd30 with my daughter then a bfp at cd35. Keeping fx for you xx

@xlauraa my cycles were anything between 28 - 39 days but just before I got pregnant I think they were about 30 days. My sister also didn’t get a bfp until cd42 despite resting earlier x

Fairly certain I'm out for this month. Cycles seem to be getting g stranger as time goes on. 35 day cycles have dropped to 28 days the last 2 months, starting with early spotting (obviously to give a glimmer of hope that it could be implantation), but very light spotting started yesterday on day 22 this month. Not sure of exact OV date this month but given timings of DTD, it can't be anything other than an early and unwelcome arrival of AF 😣 Guess I'll be on the April bus....
