@Wendykennedy yes it is... Just turned 34 so thought we best get a move on. How about you?.. is this your first?

My sister in law is also trying for her first, she's on cycle 8 and super stressed out about it so I'm trying yes trying to stay more relaxed. We will see how long that lasts.

Owlpatrol · 20/12/2017 22:36

Currently 4dpo today and so the symptom spotting starts currently got tugging pains and sore nipples lol. I know it's just hormonal whether that means I'll be pregnant or not but I can't help reading into it

Helen290 · 21/12/2017 08:03

Guys I need some advice, basically I had my first positive pregnancy test on Tuesday 10dpo which has gradually got slightly darker each day I am doing this because I'm so scared after my MC I have no one else to talk to and I'm feeling very lonely of course I can speak to my husband and he is lovely but he doesn't get it how crazy it makes you feel .
So do you think I should stop with the the testing every day? And just leave it till next week to test again, I'm just worried doing it every day is making me stressed 😫 and I know logically there is nothing I can do if things go wrong 😔 I am just so scared I really don't want another MC. Xx

Helen290 · 21/12/2017 08:13

These are my tests over the last 3days

@Miss83
Ye very similar, just turned 33, married 4.5 years and thought we better grow up and give it a bash 😂
But im used to deciding something and going and getting it so this is a whole new lesson is patience and surrendering control! 😳

@Helen290
That must be so tough! You've got your positive so that's great! Maybe try stretching out the testing each time... so 1 day gap, 2 day gap 3 day gap etc until you build confidence in it?

Helen290 · 21/12/2017 09:03

@Wendykennedy thank you yeh good idea I don't think I'll test again till Saturday we'll try not to and as you said leave it longer each time, just every little feeling I get I worry I have never been pregnant before and the last time I was ended in MC I had aching then but it was more often and it wasn't me up, so I don't know if what I feel is normal, I have like a very dull ache in my uterus usually more so sorry tmi if go toilet and it only seems to happen in mornings it's not severe and my CM is the same not changed.

Wendykennedy · 21/12/2017 09:08

@Helen290
I've never been pregnant so I can't really advise. All I'd say is, having been lurking on a couple of the chats on here over the last few weeks is that everyone is different and that what feels like a normal pregnancy to one person is someone else either getting their AF or maybe even having a MC so I think you could wrap yourself up in knots with the symptoms bit. Use the tests as your crutch and ween yourself off and listen to your body without comparing it would be my advice.
.... now if I could only just go and take that advice myself!!! 😂

gain till Saturday we'll try not to and as you said leave it longer each time, just every little feeling I get I worry I have never been pregnant before and the last time I was ended in MC I had aching then but it was more often and it wasn't me up, so I don't know if what I feel is normal, I have like a very dull ache in my uterus usually more so sorry tmi if go toilet and it only seems to happen in mornings it's not severe and my CM is the same not changed.

Helen290 · 21/12/2017 09:21

@Wendykennedy I know it's so easy to give advice but doing it is so much harder, I have IBS also so symptoms I have with that can be similar so it can get confusing, it's a weird fluttering feeling tho kinda like an ache like how you feel when your really excited lol I think I'll loose my mind lol 😂😂

Wendykennedy · 21/12/2017 09:24

@Helen290

Well fingers crossed and keep us posted over the next few weeks!
I'm still in the tww but due AF tomorrow with none of my usual PMS symptoms and no BFP either...

Helen290 · 21/12/2017 09:46

@Wendykennedy aww I wish you luck it's nice to have some where we can worry and talk to like minded people 🙂 I would be lost if I didn't have this.
Also I just spoke to fertility and they said the feelings I'm having are normal and a lot of women get more severe cramping like period pains and they think they are having a miscarriage but the feelings you get at a start of pregnancy are the same so it can be confusing she said as long as there is no blood no need to worry and she booked me for a 6/52 scan on the 8th jan kinda feels like I'm tempting faint 😔.

Helen290 · 21/12/2017 09:47

@Wendykennedy are your cycles regular?

Wendykennedy · 21/12/2017 09:58

@Helen290
Well the 8th is something to look forward to. This may be your last Christmas without a baba in your arms so try to relax and enjoy it all :-)

I'm regular but I've long cycles of about 32 days. No symptoms other than a bit of a tugging feeling in my tummy but it could be anything so trying not to read into it

Helen290 · 21/12/2017 10:44

@Wendykennedy that might be something, I wish you luck Hun and maybe test again in a few more days hope we all have some luck this Christmas 🙂

Helen290 · 22/12/2017 07:43

I don't know if anyone else who got a positive pregnancy test feels like this but I feel dizzy sick, exhausted never felt so tired and I literally cried just from listening to a Christmas song lol.😂 has anyone else felt this way?

Owlpatrol · 22/12/2017 07:47

@Helen290 yep and I'm not even preggers ...yet although I do feel different in this tww I've literally been crying at everything since about 4dpo!!

Mollydog88 · 22/12/2017 07:56

@owl patrol @helen290 I feel awful and only 7 or 8dpo! Went for a run yesterday and managed 3miles with a very purple face feeling sick (I’m a marathon runner!)

Had lots of pink cm this morning and lots of cramping and bloating and sore boobs and just feel horrendous. Pretty sure it’s the start of of an early af :(

Helen290 · 22/12/2017 08:08

@Mollydog88 that could be implantation bleeding tho!!.

Helen290 · 22/12/2017 08:08

@Owlpatrol I don't normally cry especially at a Christmas song lol

Mollydog88 · 22/12/2017 08:12

@helen290 is implantation bleeding actually a thing? I’ve read so much conflicting information, I think I’m doing the opposite of being hopeful and trying to explain every symptom as something else...ever the pessimist!

Helen290 · 22/12/2017 08:54

@Mollydog88 no it's not a myth some women get very light spotting usually pink in colour or some cramping or you might feel your temperature drop I felt very cold on my implantation day and had cramping, everyone is different with pregnancy 🙂

surreygirl1987 · 22/12/2017 09:17

Argh help! While last month I had an 'ideal' chart, this month it appears to have gone mad! I thought I ovulated (positive opk on cd15) and that I had a fallback rise
... but today I had a second major temp drop AGAIN! What's going on? FF won't put crosshairs on based on these temps as obvs I'm not above the cover line :( had lots of cramping on CD15 so assumed they were ov pains but now not sure I o'ed!

surreygirl1987 · 22/12/2017 09:18

Oops here is chart...

2ww
Helen290 · 22/12/2017 09:24

@surreygirl1987 you have a drop in temperature when you implant which could be why you had a drop what day was that drop how many days Pdo? This is my chart and I got positive on Tuesday 10dpo if it helps.

2ww
Mollydog88 · 22/12/2017 11:25

@helen290 thank you for the reassurance! That’s the problem isn’t it, there are no ‘textbook’ symptoms at all. I’m forgetting about it now and holding out til that boring bit between Xmas and new year when I’ll need something to worry about 😂😂

surreygirl1987 · 22/12/2017 12:01

@helen290 many thanks for reply. Sadly I thibk I'm a bit early for implantation dip - think I'm on around 6dpo (though hard to tell when pos opk on CD15 and temp rise on CD18!). Wish it was thoigh - worried my cycle is all messed up this month!
Mega congrats on your bfp ...and thanks for sharing your chart!!
