Cycle 2

I agree men don't get it... My 34 year old DP thought that it could happen any point of the month. Told him to do some googling... He has yet to and still doesn't believe me when I tell him how small our window is to catch.

Miss83 · 19/12/2017 19:08

Kkk87... That would be amazing doing it on his birthday and Christmas. If I could keep quite long enough I'd love to tell our mums on mother's Day.... That would be hard though lol.

Mollydog88 · 19/12/2017 19:13

My husband’s been just as stressed and excited and nervous about it all as I am - not sure if that makes it worse! Really struggling this month, going through the whole ‘there’s definitely something wrong, it’ll never happen, I definitely have an untreated std from a million years ago that’s never ever been picked up, I don’t ovulate...’ even though I’m fully aware I’m being ridiculous, my head’s not stopping this time!!

dingdongdigeridoo · 19/12/2017 20:25

Sounds familiar Miss83! I had to explain the concept of ovulation to my DH, and why when it’s the FW we really have to make an effort to have sex. No, we can’t wait til next week because you have a big meeting. This needs to happen now! He also didn’t know that you couldn’t get pregnant all month round.

I blame TV where people shag once and get up the duff.

Kkk87 · 19/12/2017 22:14

Yeah I know @Miss83 I really want it so bad this month coz it all fits in perfect

surreygirl1987 · 20/12/2017 00:01

@mollydog88 you sound soooo much like me with the worrying (hopefully for no good reason!!)

Temp rose this morning so now officially entering my 2ww! Thank God Xmas is here to distract me... thought I was going crazy last month - the wait felt so long!!

Helen290 · 20/12/2017 06:53

@Allcrossed are you getting any aching in your uterus? So hard not to worry about everything lol

Mollydog88 · 20/12/2017 07:23

@surreygirl1987 I’m so glad it’s not just me!

SantaBaby1 · 20/12/2017 07:27

Cautious P from me. Hesitate to call it a BFP as I don’t think this can be described as ‘big’ or ‘fat’ but I think it is a positive?

I’m 12dpo today btw. Is this too faint?!

Owlpatrol · 20/12/2017 07:45

@surreygirl1987 lol snap so glad it's Xmas! I'm about 4dpo I don't think I'll be able to test Xmas day

@SantaBaby1 no it's not too faint at all hun it might be that implantation happened a bit later than usual so congratulations!!

Helen290 · 20/12/2017 07:58

@SantaBaby1 congratulations hun that's not faint so don't worry implantation can happen between 6-12 days post ovulation , but I wouldn't say that was faint 🙂

Helen290 · 20/12/2017 07:59

@SantaBaby1 are you getting any achy feelings in your uterus? I get them on and off was just a little worried they are not painful just achy 🙂.

Helen290 · 20/12/2017 08:33

Ok I might be loosing my mind lol but I did another pregnancy test today and I think the line looks darker?,I am really going to try and not test again till the weekend but it's so hard after an MC 😑 I just keep on expecting it to go lighter it's a horrible feeling 😔.

SantaBaby1 · 20/12/2017 08:37

That’s definitely darker Helen. I know how you feel, miscarriage robs you of your pregnancy innocence that two lines = baby

Try to stay positive - I’m going to be doing my best to be positive and cautiously optimistic too

dancingunicorns123 · 20/12/2017 08:38

@Helen290 that's defiantly darker! Congratulations!

Mollydog88 · 20/12/2017 08:42

@helen290 @santababy1 SO exciting!!! Sounds like the worries never end though.

I think I’m 6 or 7dpo now and had some spotting this morning which is really unusual for me :( cramps, back ache, feel generally rubbish. Think it’s an early af for me!

Allcrossed · 20/12/2017 09:07

Hey @Helen290 every part of me is aching to be honest especially my uterus. After having tonsillitis I’m now full of cold. I’m so worried now and I’ve tested again on an ic and I think it was fainter Sad but don’t know if I’m just worrying myself. I’m trying to be happy and positive but it’s hard. And it probably doesn’t help that, other than you lovely ladies, I’ve got no one to talk it out with as I’m waiting until Xmas eve to tell DH.

@santababy1 many congratulations, that second line is so clear to me so I would say it’s definitely a BIG FAT CHRISTMASSY POSITIVE Flowers

Helen290 · 20/12/2017 09:42

@Allcrossed awww try not to worry I'm in the same boat also and I looked up line procession online and everyone is different some people have faint line for a few and it takes a week to get darker, also depends how concentrated your urine is.
I just worry cause I have an achy uterus last time and it became more frequent and I always think that was the sign things were going wrong but it might not of been and I know what will be will be no point worrying it's just hard 😩 when you want something so bad.

Helen290 · 20/12/2017 09:45

@SantaBaby1 thank you I have decided also to be optimistic and positive no point in worrying and I want to enjoy Christmas 🙂 and be great full for what I do have

Allcrossed · 20/12/2017 09:51

@Helen290 yes I know what you mean. I’m Constantly over analysing each symptom and trying to compare it to previous pregnancy or MC. To be honest I have a constant dull ache around my uterus and ovaries, like you said, not painful I’m just aware of it. Then if I move suddenly I feel it more. I do actually recall having that with my first pregnancy though (daughter now nearly 2)
Like you said what will be will be, for now I’m staying positive and hopeful. If everything goes smoothly, I don’t want to remember my first few months of pregnancy as being overly anxious and miserable. And I want to enjoy Christmas

Wendykennedy · 20/12/2017 11:38

Starting to get a little frustrated and only cycle 1!!! I'm DPO 12 and due AF on DPO 14 of a fairly regular cycle albeit 32 days. Ive tested this morning with a BFN but usually I've PMS symptoms and brown spotting days in advance of AF and this morning absolutely nothing! In total limbo!!! Facing into a BFN but no hint of AF coming yet!!!

dingdongdigeridoo · 20/12/2017 15:42

I’m 6dpo and feeling knackered with a sore throat. Normally I’d put it down to pre xmas stress, but my first pregnancy symptom with DS was a horrendous sore throat. I don’t feel cold-y in general, so keeping everything crossed.

Miss83 · 20/12/2017 19:34

@dingdongdigeridoo he really is clueless! Fingers crossed the sore throat is a sign for you. I am just having dizzy spells but suffered with a really bad case of vertigo about two months ago which lasted week's. Went in the end but now I am just spinning out if the blue now and again... Really hope it doesn't come back like it was!!

@Wendykennedy ah that is really frustrating! Fingers crossed you get one or the other soon... Hopefully the BFP out of the two. I'm due boxing day! Was thinking of testing Christmas morning but I'm trying not to buy any tests until I need to as I feel I may let it take over. I am also on cycle 1. Good luck.

Hope we have more Christmas BFP's!l

Wendykennedy · 20/12/2017 20:22

Thanks Miss83! Fingers crossed for us both! I hear ya on the testing front! Very easy to get swept up! Is this your first time TTC
