Have been slowly coming off antidepressants and stopped taking the pill (using condoms) to get body back to normal ready to try for no.2 in June, also started taking pregnacare. I know its early to start posting but got my first proper period today so just been on site to check fertile dates for months again and think we're going to go for it in June - ooooooooooooo, very excited. Just wondered if there was anyone else out there planning way ahead cos i wouldn't talk to anyone in RL life about it so far ahead, other than dh!

yay minxy your body will cope, you are designed for it!! congrats so pleased. sorry to hear of your previous mc, heres hoping for a happy pg for you now!

minxy125 · 07/06/2007 18:17

Thanks scorpio I really hope this one will stick!, I really don't wanna cope with going through anymore mc's!! Its just a shame the first weeks have to be so testing and stressful when you have gone through mc.

derah · 07/06/2007 18:21

Yay Minxy and good luck!!

Should I test tomorrow? Not much chance that I won't. I'm a confirmed testaholic!! This of course depends on period not showing up before morning....

tigerschick · 07/06/2007 18:31

Woo Hoo! Congratualtions Minxy!!

Derah - if you can manage it, it might help to wait a few days. The hormones get a lot stronger very quickly and you're much more likely to get a bfp if you wait. Good luck if you decide to ignore me and test anyway

Scorpio - you OK chick? Congratulations on your first year. Was thinking of you earlier when I was looking at some very 'hot' hot pants in New Look. Put it this way, I have underwear that covers more!!! The scarey thing is that they were in a size 18... now I'm a 12-14 and I wouldn't dream of wearing anything that teeny - well, not in public

scorpio1 · 07/06/2007 18:33

tiger - lol at hotpants thought! i always wonder about clothes like that in that size.... i'm a size 6/8 though so think i am allowed?

minxy125 · 07/06/2007 18:33

Thanks derah and I would test, but like you i am a testaholic too, maybe we should set up a support group!! Will keep my fingers crossed for you!!

tigerschick · 07/06/2007 18:38

Scorpio - the thing was, I was waiting for the chap to come back from the store room with a very modest black skirt - past the knee, full, not in the least bit saucy - when I saw them! I feel so old sometimes
Oh and - I think at a 6/8 and 22yo you are very much allowed to wear them. Tho I hate you coz you've had 2 dc and are a lot smaller than me!!

Gotta go and give dd her bath, catch you later.

spugs · 07/06/2007 18:59

Congrats on the bfp Minxy, if you dont mind me asking did you have an af between mc and bfp?
Scorpio - happy birthday to the littleun and hot pants are generally a good thing when you 22 and 1 6/8
hope everyones well and not stressing to much

minxy125 · 07/06/2007 19:29

Hiya spugs, yes did have af between mc and bfp, was quite a weird cycle though, mc started on 14th april, bleeding for about 2wks then af on 8th may, think i then ov'd sun 20th which is earlier than I thought I would, but had heavy spotting last week, thought this was some kind of weird af, but then realized it was earlier then predicted af, felt crampy and periody the last couple of days, did not think for one min I would be pregnant.

Sorry you have had such a bad time too, mc's are very hard on you mentally and I think they mess around with you for a long time.

If you wanna chat feel free to cat me??

scorpio1 · 07/06/2007 19:43

tiger - its official - my team v your team, August 4, at home to my team. you coming?? (be prepared to lose)

manamana · 07/06/2007 20:20

Woweee minxy, that's fantastic news .
Soph, sorry to hear about bfn but all hope not gone until AF turns up.
Sending love and good luck to everyone else, too knackered to post much - got to get ready for weekend away and dh isn't back til early ohours of this morning. Bought another test today so I could watch the line appear and convince myself that I wasn't making it up but still have one left for dh!

plummymummy · 07/06/2007 20:38

That is fantastic news minxy. Delighted for you Your dp is sweet worrying about you. I kind of think there is no logic in these things - what's meant to be is meant to be. When would your due date be? Hi Scorpio, Tiger, everyone else I'm holding out ok. The days are dragging but I'm determined to wait til the next scheduled one on 18th. Dh coming with me. I had some niggling pains down there today but I suppose that's normal - just me over analysing every little twinge.

plummymummy · 07/06/2007 20:40

Soph - glad the concert went well. Now where's that bottle of wine? Pour me one too Actually, I am relieved as I am now going off alcohol. It was bothering me that I still craved it - thought it was a sign that all was not well.

tigerschick · 07/06/2007 21:03

Woo Hoo Scorpio!!!

Can't make it, we're having a bbq here as it's the same day that England play Wales. You going? if you are!!!

You're going down Cornish girl!!!

waiting4bambino · 08/06/2007 00:15

hi all, havent posted in a while! But have been checking in and seeing what you're all up to! Although this site is amazing for support and info/advice, I actually found that I've obsessed less this cycle than others when i was back and fore on here everyday!
This month I havent taken a single temperature, I've drunk cider! and I've stopped counting days etc, and havent peed on any opks yet. However, i have got an appt at the docs (though they'll probably send me away) as its been almost 7 months now that we've been ttc.. seems like forever!
Anyway, i thought i'd check in and see if anyone out there is having the same problems as me (very late ovulation) and if their docs have helped at all! Thanks girls, good luck for this month!

BabyBratt · 08/06/2007 07:34

Hi all, hope you are all well. "congratulations" to all of you who have BFPs.
"Good luck" to all of those waiting to test.

"waiting4bamino" I am on my 6 month of ttc with 1st and nothing seems to be happening. Every month is just harder and harder. Its my 30th today and I feel very down. I have my own business and my business partner announced she was pregnant so it looks like we will have to stop ttc. Which is tearing me a DH apart. oour business is new and it might fail if both of us fall pregnant.

Its the hardest thing in the world (well maybe not). I just want a baby even if Im only ever blessed with one.

Anyway I best get my happy face on to face RL.

BabyBratt · 08/06/2007 07:38

Oh I forgot scorpio speaking as a size 12 (with dimples) Im very jealous of your hotpants and size 6/8 I think I was born bigger than that.

lissie · 08/06/2007 08:02

hi all, my you have been chatty, Minx, havent spoken for ages congrats sweetheart!

plummy, i know its tough but the 18th isnt far away!

scorpio, ikwym im a size 8 (but with dimples) and wouldnt even wear hotpants when i was 18!!

lissie · 08/06/2007 08:03

oh and spugs, be prepared for an odd af. my post mc af's were erratic and quite painful & heavy. you know where i am!

derah · 08/06/2007 08:51

Morning all

BabyBratt, I'm so sorry to hear that you might have to stop trying for a while. That must be so frustrating for you. Hope you manage to have a happy birthday anyway. I was miserable on my 30th!!

Well, period showed up this morning. Yesterday's spotting had stopped by late afternoon and I was so excited that there was still hope (I never usually have spotting at all)!! I'm sure my period was laughing at me that it had managed to fool me 2 months in a row!

Still, dd was so annoying this morning that dh and I were wondering why it is we want the one we've got, never mind another one!!!

Roll on next month....

tigerschick · 08/06/2007 09:21

Morning ladies

Waiting - Hope your dr gives you some answers, it is the not knowing that is so frustrating I think. Good luck.

BB - Happy Birthday. Sorry that you are not feeling too great at the moment. It's rotten luck about your business partner. How far 'gone' is she? You might not need to stop ttc if she is a few months already as your maternity leaves could run one after the other. Don't give up hope yet

lissie - Hi, how are you today?

Derah - sorry your period turned up for real, how annoying to keep you hanging on like that! Good luck for next month.

Scorpio - Dh is gutted that we can't get down to the game. But not as gutted as my next-door neighbour, she is from Penzance and is both a Tigers and Pirates fan!! She would love to go but this year, for the first time in 13 years, they are not going to Cornwall for their holiday, they're off to France instead!!

Well, as usual, I haven't got a clue what is going on with my body. I'm just waiting until Tuesday when, hopefully, I'll get some answers. But the most I can hope for is to be told what is wrong and then be referred to a gyn, and then it's anyone's guess how long I'll have to wait. Ah well, dh is quite happy with sex-when-we-feel-like-it rather than sex-to-order so we'll keep up with that for now

Hope everyone is well and happy today. Anyone testing soon?

lissie · 08/06/2007 09:24

this month seems to be flying by! cant believe that my HSG is obn monday, anyone been for one?

scorpio1 · 08/06/2007 10:42

tiger - i probably will go, its only about 10 miles from my house and my dad has coporate membership, so i guess i will be going! [gloat] and you, leicester girl, are going daaahhhhnnnnnn (eastenders stylee)

derah - sorry about period. i am thinking maybe we need a july thread soon? a few of us seem to have got our periods in early june

lissie - this month is flying [yay] im already cd6! good luck for your appt

Waiting - good luck for you too

Plummy - hows you and pg?? hoping i find you well

and hello to everyone else dp has decided its pmt week for him; great fun. got a bit upset last night, but he is sorry now, so i guess all is ok now. it is ds1 bday party tomorrow,(was 5 on weds) im so excited!! i feel too young to have a 5 yr old.....

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 08/06/2007 11:15

BB Sorry to hear that hope it must be a really hars situation for you so sorry x and happy 30th!

Hi everyone else hope all is ok? have read thought but brain a bit crapy at mo!

Well my ov test stick came up with a faint pink line today so should mean I am oving in the next 48 hours which is good as I thought we had missed it as on CD16 so hopefully dh back will feel better over the weekend x

my ds is 3 on the 24th the day af is due which is a bummer I am either going to be really happy or quite sad but must make sure he has a super birthday!

UpsyDaisy · 08/06/2007 12:22

Hi all,
Happy Birthday BabyBratt......keep trying for the baby......you'll work something out when it comes to work, can you work from home temporarily? and vice versa with Bus partner?

Trying to think where I am cd9 or something, I have it written in my diary....better get my matching undies in order!

Tigerschick......who's your fav player then? I'm from leicestershire, although I don't know a lot about rugby, I like to keep up with how they are doing.

Just to mention i'm a size 18, and the thought of squeezing myself into a pair of hotpants is horrendous, perhaps I could wear a pair of spanx support knickers underneath......I'll leave that thought with you...sorry if I put anyone off their lunch!
