Wow! Been away for a couple of days and come back to bfp's all over the place! Congrats to everyone!!

To the person who mentioned shock in the last thread...I was feeling funny the day or so after bfp and told hubby, he asked me to describe my symptoms, which I did and then finished by saying "but it's surely too early for me to be feeling anything". He is in the emergency services and immediately told me that I had just described the classic symptoms of shock ha ha!

It's now about a week and a half since I got it and I still feel the same!! And fleacircus, I am too scared to leave here too! Have been lurking on Dec antenatal but feel like I might jinx myself..

plummymummy · 12/04/2007 20:59

Congrats fleacircus

waiting4bambino · 12/04/2007 21:04

Waiting4bambino, CD15 (i think!)

I'm using those cheapy ov kits from AccessDiagnostics and according them its all negative negative negative! Should i be seeing a positive LH surge on there yet?

I really feel like i've made progress this month, i've enthusiastically bd'd every other day and still doing so, even though have sometimes been almost asleep! So i hope i get some outcome this month, can't believe how all you girls stay so positive! Hope it rubs off on me, along with a BFP!!!

fifisworld · 12/04/2007 21:19

Congratulations Fleacircus

I dont want to leave this borad either, not because im scared i'll jinx myself but everyones so supportive on here...you are all lovely and you all deserve BFP's

Bbabymamma - cd13 (due approx 26/4)
kensgirl - cd 15 af due around 26/4
BellaBear CD 13 or 11 dep when period actually started!

tested this morning and BFN and was on clear blue early tester. I farking hate my bloody stupid and useless body. I just wish that it would work properly. I am a good mum and my ds deserves the chance to be a big brother. He is already 7 and the age gap seems like it will be huge. Sorry that I am ranting and that I seem ungrateful for already have one wonderful ds but I just dont feel my family is complete.

My consultant is on a study day today and never called. Her secretary assured me that she would call me this evening but she never did. Thinking of starting provera now as that was the plan. Once AF induced start clomid at higher dose.

Sorry for putting damper on here. I am really pleased for all the BFP's on here xxx

fifisworld · 12/04/2007 21:35

Sorry about BFN Awen
Have you been ttc for long??

MamaMaiasaura · 12/04/2007 22:00

yes. With dp for 2 and 1/2 years. Also in a prev relationships. so a lot longer for me, not for dp though.

becklespeckle · 12/04/2007 23:44

Oh Awen, sorry you didn't have much luck with the consultant today - will you get on the phone to her tomorrow??? I should, not fair to leave you in limbo. You do not sound ungrateful for the DS you have, not at all! Just because you have a DC already doesn't mean you want another any less. I have 2 and I feel guilty for wanting another when so many people on here are struggling TTC no 1. Even if I fall pg this month DS2 will be 5 when baby is born and DS1 will be 7.5, I worry about the age gap. I also worry that if it takes too much longer then DH will decide not to carry on (he has said Christmas - no pressure!)

tigerschick · 13/04/2007 07:47

Morning everyone.

Sorry to hear about your BFN Awen. Is it back to the consultant now? I hope that, if I get to the same position you're in, I have a consultant like yours, she sounds really nice and supportive, even tho she wasn't there to speak to you yesterday.

Hope everyone else is ok today. Anyone testing?

scorpio1 · 13/04/2007 08:31

Awen, im sorry to hear how things are for you, and your BFN.the consultant was out of order to promise you a phone call and not deliver,i hope they ring today and help you. don't feel bad for wanting another baby-its your right and what you want-enjoy it,never feel sorry.Keep your chin up lady!

Morning everyone else.

Fleacircus, that sounds just like my dad-he just knows, last time before i even knew!

No AF here yet either,im now CD35, longest ever,no signs of anything yet, although boobs are getting sore, and i am a right moody woman, so signs that AF is coming, me thinks.i am telling you all i'm not pg!

Waiting for bambino-i personally hate opk's, they stressed me out too much good bd effort though!

scorpio1 · 13/04/2007 08:58

scorpio1 · 13/04/2007 09:20

scorpio1 · 13/04/2007 09:21

it better not be any of you.....

plummymummy · 13/04/2007 09:24

Sorry you are feeling so down Awen. It's a long time to be ttc for so I'm not surprised you're feeling so down. I really hope you get a bfp. I know what you mean about feeling your family is incomplete. My son is nearly 3 so I worry about the age gap too, though clearly not enough to not bother trying! How old are you? I am 35 and I had really hoped to conceive my 2nd before 35. Lost two last year

plummymummy · 13/04/2007 09:26

I'm bidding for this lovely handbag on ebay and I'm determined to get it

scorpio1 · 13/04/2007 09:28

I KNEW IT

sorry i am just a bit obsessed about this bag

tigerschick · 13/04/2007 09:30

sorry about your af pinkslippers Hope May is a better month for you

Also sorry you had a bad time of it last year plummy Hope you don't have to wait much longer to complete your family

Scorpio I would put your bid up to what ever your top price is and let fate decide. But that's me and I don't really understand things like handbags, not being a very girly girl iykwim. (not meaning to say you are, just that I'm not )

tigerschick · 13/04/2007 09:30

Oh Blinking cut finger, can't type quickly enough!

becklespeckle · 13/04/2007 10:09

Scorpio - ebay advice - I never put a bid on until the last few mins of the auction, then I put in my top price (and let fate decide). If I bid too early I always end up bidding more than I wanted to just because I WANT it!

MamaMaiasaura · 13/04/2007 10:12

Hi guys. Feeling less today and more in perspective. Spoke to consultant's secretary today, was calm and not all teary like yesterday. She said that the consultant was likely to cxall me over weekend from home (bless her). tbh i dont suppose a few days is going to make that much difference and gives AF a chance to show up on her own without being coaxed out.

Becklespeckle - no pressure men sometimes dont get the complexities of it do they? All they have to do is make a deposit.. no charting, temping, checking cm (although they prob wouldnt mind that bit! )

Scorpio - Good luck with the handbag .. I never got the handbag/shoe bug. Are u testing tomorrow? (impatiently waiting here.. hope is a hbfp - huge big fat positive )

Plummymummy - I am 31. Sorry for your bad luck last year. Kinda puts my whining in persepective ((hugs)) xx

How d'ya cut your finger tiger?

Gracie14 · 13/04/2007 11:15

Hi all,

Still no AF, I tested this morning when I promised myself I wouldn't and it was a BFN. I haven't got any other signs of being pregnant I don't know why I torture myself so much.

Do you think I should go to the doctors on Monday if still no AF or is that being stupid?

jhyesmum · 13/04/2007 11:18

Hi Gracie - sorry if you've already said but when are you/were you due??
