think you can get a false negative but not a false positive i might be wrong though.

If I were you, Lucy I'd try and speak to the doctor or the midwife asap, whichever you are able to get in with. If you don't know how far gone you are you may be able to have a scan sooner rather than later to establish your edd. Policies differ greatly from area to area. The midwives round here 'serve' an area covering 3 PCTs and they have different policies in each! Must be very confusing for all concerned!

Glad you're feeling well. With dd I had slightly achy boobs and went really narky with dh every once in a while. It wasn't until I was 8 weeks and went off the booze that we thought something was up

With regards to the doctor..
When i was pg with ds i went to see the doctor first so just done the same this time, she took my bp and worked out my dates then made me appointment with mw for 25th April.
I would make an appointment and see what they say, even if they dont do anything they should at least be able to help you with your dates then will refer you to MW.

Well had a stonking migrane on Monday and although headache gone am still feeling little bit sicky so obviously I am now starting to symptom spot! Don't even know for sure that I ovulated!!! Kept getting small twinges v low down on the right of tummy last night too . Think I will be sooo disappointed when April comes and goes with no AF or BFP but never mind, it is nice to feel a bit positive about things for a while!

Your poor dog Jhyesmum - is all happening for you at the moment isn't it , you do find that though unfortunately - last year was like that for me. You are about an hour and 20 or so from me I think, Newmarket is about 45 minutes from me (in good traffic).
Scorpio - I don't think I could bear the not knowing/testing you are going through! Keep waiting to hear...

pinkslippers, thats why im hlding off testing because it takes a while for me to get a + too,up to about 8 weeks pg with my first ds!

Lucy - a rough way to calculate your due date is 9 mnths and 1 week from your LMP. So, if your last period was 1st march your edd will be 8th December. Congratulations!

Well my AF was due on Sunday and tested yesterday and got a BFP, convinced myself it couldn't be right as it was a cheap ebay test so held out until this morning and did another two tests and they were definitely BFPs am obviously over the moon and know I am very lucky as only third month ttc but am also slightly nervous.

Will certainly miss these threads as the support we all give each other through these sometimes stressful times is amazing. Wishing you all lot's of luck that you get you BFPs soon

Haven't been on much lately as was offline for a bit and then got a bit lost but -

Loads of congrats to everyone on their BFPs - it has been a lucky month. Well done y'all.

Not so lucky for me unforetunately. was almost convinced it was as got to 17 days post positive OPK but AF reared ugly head this morning. Off to May pretty gutted...

FurryFox, congratulations . Congratulated you on the TTC no 2 thread but you can never have too many good wishes!

Kensgirl thanks for working out my rough due date, as my cycles are long I think I ovulate far later in the cycle meaning I'm not as far gone as my LMP date of 1st Mar gives me. Well I'll just keep my fingers crossed that all is well and that hope we get to the 12wk scan stage.

I just feel so crappy today

hate being in limbo,but i know i am not pg-no symptoms whatsoever.now i keep wondering if that tiny spotting was my AF?i know it isn't really, im just trying to understand whats going on.like i have said before,i'm prob still settling down after my coil aren't I?i dont know really,i know they say quick return to fertility after removal.....mine has been out 9 weeks now,surely i should/could be in normal rythym (sp?) by now?

sorry i just feel so down and today.dp keeps saying how exciting you could be pg,but i just know im not,and feel like someone is playing a trick on me,the bastards.

What makes you so sure you're not pg? From what you've said before you didn't have any symptoms particularly early with your other pgs. I know you said you're sure you wouldn't get a +ve yet anyway, but would it be worth trying a test? It might stop your dp from getting too over excited if nothing else.

i didnt have any particular symptoms with my other pgs, but did feel different IYKWIM?we will prob test friday/saturday morning.i have ordered two tests from access diagnostics today,so will do them with fmu.just feel shit TBH!

Its horrible not knowing either way, i know what you mean about feeling different though i feel like that now. Apart from feeling really tired and having sore boobs i dont feel like im pregnant..but i was like this with ds so im not too worried
