October has only just begun but it's not the month for me so here is the November Bus ready for anyone to join me

BFP due: 5th November (go me)

I’ve DTD and in the TWW! This part I hate! I want to get drunk for Halloween but don’t want to risk anything. I like a sneaky fag but don’t want to risk it!

It’s all worth it if you come out with a BFP but gutting if a negative!

Makes it seem ironic that the only time I feel driven to drink is in the 2WW!

Hi. AF arrived today (3 days early) so am on november bus.

Age: 39
TTC No.1
Cycle TTC: 3 (after conceiving cycle 1 then MMC at 10 weeks).

Ovulation due 11/12 Nov so a bit of a wait yet.

Pass me the gin.

@bunnyboo91 to be perfectly honest I’m a believer of you’re not pregnant till your BFP, I don’t think one drink would do much harm and you still need to enjoy yourself! 😊 with you on the smoking though I’ve moved to a non nicotine based vape now!

I decided to chill out this month and not temp or do OPKs. Now I am more stressed than ever as I don’t know when / if I have ovulated ha! Can’t win either way!! Staying with friends at the weekend and will definitely have a few drinks. Been trying for 6 months now and take the view that I can’t put life on hold. Have been taking it easy in the gym and gaining weight too so time to put an end to that!!

Well we aren’t sure what’s going on, I had two migraines in a week which I normally get at ovulation and some cramping a few days ago which is now back with a vengeance! Temp rose last night but we dtd every day with none yesterday now I’m worrying I’ve missed it!

Not to sure if today starts my TWW. Have DTD the last 4 night. And now I get EWCM. Positive OPK on Tues. Saw Gynea on Monday who said I would ovulate on Wed. Do I DTD tonight? Would really like to give it a go. But DP and I are rather erm exhausted!!!

You’re right one or two drinks wouldn’t do any harm, I get paranoid though! Is it true you reckon you don’t share blood for a while either?

Morning all!

7/8 dpo today. I’ve been REALLY gassy the last 24 hours or so, like ridiculously so. And that is a usual symptom for me in past pregnancies. I also have a completely heightened sense of smell today! Pulled up to work and could smell a strange smell that no one else could, and in my office now I’m certain I can smell sick?! I work in a hospital but my office is not near enough to where anyone could have been sick for me to smell it!

So with the spotting and dizziness yesterday I’m getting my hopes up way too much. Hate when symptoms like these happen as I don’t think there’s much chance of pregnancy this month due to being a bit too relaxed about dtd etc! So I’m sure it’ll lead to nothing

@bunnieboo91 I heard that as well! Isn’t it like up to 6 weeks or something?

My husband and I have been married for 2 years, and have made the decision to start trying for a baby - exciting times! I have very limited knowledge or experience of babies, pregnancy or the experience of trying to conceive so this is all new to me and I don't really know what to expect - so, I'm taking things as they come!

I came off the pill in May to give my body some time to get back into a normal cycle after 10+ years on the pill, and only last month we decided to stop using contraception and start trying. We did have unprotected sex last month but we weren't actively trying and I wasn't tracking my cycle or anything like that since we just made the decision out of the blue part way through my cycle - so, not overly surprised when my period arrived last week.

So, this month will be our first of properly trying - I'm currently on day 8 of my cycle, tracking using the Clue app and planning to do some ovulation tests just to get more familiar with when I am actually ovulating - according to Clue I will be ovulating around the 8th. I tend to have a slightly longer cycle - about 34 days - so I won't be due my period until later in November, around the 22nd.

@Fia256 I'm only just in the tww and starting to go nutty already. Caved in and bought preggo tests (why do I do this to myself??) so they're already tempting me...big mistake lol.

Period started today so on the November bus. This month we are taking pregacare supplements, healthier diet and joining a gym. Also bought a CB ovulation tracker.

Baby dust to all!!! Catching it early this month as period was 3 days early. Thinking I ovulate very early.

Uh-oh snoozy. I was tempted to go into my local Boots today - but only so that I could give them my picture and tell them to refuse to sell me tests until the 5th at the earliest! If I have them in the house I can hear them siren-calling to me everytime I need to pee.

10 more days to go - how am I going to get through this without going doolally?

I stupidly bought tests without knowing how awful this 2ww would be (first timer) if I need to next month I will wait until AF is due to buy them!

Hello new ladies @Fia256 we are basically cycle buddies. I've started overdosing on preggo symptoms and binge watching you tube videos of early testers because I'm due to go out Saturday for a heavy night of drinking so I need to think whether I can test or not this weekend but will only be 7dpo

Had cramping today and strong sense of smell. My husband lit a match and the smell of the match made me feel ill

@MamOfFrankie haha oh yes, that's a brilliant idea! I'm going to have to get dp to hide mine from me.

@peterpanwendy no doubt about it, the tww is truly awful. I think the second cycle for me was the worst because I 100% convinced myself it was the one and tested loads so was frequently disappointed! Still, it's good to stay positive and presume the best will happen :)

No AF yet (due on today), but period pains and 2 BFNs so I'm jumping on this bus. I've had some really intense nausea today, weeing a lot, and really tired but telling myself it doesn't mean anything because if they were pregnancy related they'd show on a test

Feeling fed up tonight. Still spotting (3 days) but now think it's probably just precursor to AF like a couple of months ago. Arrived just in time to make me google the beep out of implantation bleeding to get my hopes up for this month!
At least I get my blood test results back next Friday to see if my pg levels are normal so that's something constructive!

I tested this evening ridiculous considering I’m either 7 or 8dpo! Used a frer and while I’ve decided it was bfn, the terrible indent lines they have was very clear and I swear had a bit of colour to it. But as I couldn’t be sure I just threw it! I’ve had this with frers too many times before to know it’s wishful thinking! Will test again tomorrow as I just love to waste tests and have 4 more

I’m only 6dpo but which pregnancy tests are generally the best to use? I’ve bought a big bag of the cheapies from eBay, are they good enough? When I found out I was having my son I used so many clear blue digitalis because it was my first time after 4 years of TTC.

I don’t mean I want to test now, I just mean in general which are the best in terms of sensitivity. Testing day is 5/11 so fingers crossed.

Already driving myself crazy!!

pixie - if you ovulated on Wed and already DTD the last few nights there is no need to DTD tonight unless you want to. The egg really needs sperm to be waiting for it in the Fallopian tube when it emerges so sperm from DTD in the days prior to ovulation are the winners! EWCM keeps the sperm alive and waiting for the egg. After ovulation the egg will die pretty quickly (like 24 hours) if it hasn’t been fertilised. So, it sounds like you are covered! Fingers crossed!

Fia I reckon you are pregnant!! That sounds like implantation bleeding for sure (it not see if it happens again and go to the GP as unexplained mid cycle spotting when not ovulation or implantation should be checked out). From what you have said though I reckon you definitely are!
