patti in my experience Superdrug tests are good and also often cheap on deals. I have found internet cheapies to be a total waste of money - last time I was pregnant they only showed a BFP when I was like a week late and my CB digi was saying “pregnant 2-3 weeks”!

pattiselmabouvier · 26/10/2017 22:30

Thanks Malapropist! Never tried Superdrug before, will have a look. Good luck to you this month Smile

pixielove123 · 27/10/2017 06:04

Thanks @Malapropist we DTD last anyway just to ease my neurotic tendency’s Grin. Had a huge spike in temp this morning. So now we can take a breather! Smile

Fia256 · 27/10/2017 07:35

Welcome @Malapropist. We are also ttc number 3! First two pregnancies happened straight away, this time round we’ve gone through so much and still not there!

Got a bfn this morning. Although FF says I’m 8dpo, I know I’m either 8 or 9 so trying to not get too disheartened as it’s still early!

Forgot to say since yesterday I’ve had a terrible out break of spots all round my mouth and chin, which I know means hormonal when it’s in that area!

Been so relaxed until now this month but the bfn has got me down a bit which I know is silly. My due date would have been next week for the baby we lost at 20 weeks earlier this year, so I feel like I just really wanted that bfp before it comes around. I know there’s still a good enough chance though

Malapropist · 27/10/2017 08:03

Thanks ladies!

Good to cover all bases pixie Wink- sounds like you have done everything you can so fingers crossed!

Fia so sorry about your loss. Just heartbreaking! I can totally understand why you would want a BFP in time for next week. I really feel for you. 9 DPO is still super early so fingers crossed for you!!

I’m already thinking about when I can test even though I’m like 2dpo today! Ridiculous!

Derf17 · 27/10/2017 11:24

Hi can I join please?
Age : 40!!! 😉

Cycle:1

Hi we are ttc using doner speed and home insemination, only way we can afford. Very early on in our journey down this road as didn’t know about this method till recently, first attempt last Monday! Not sure we got timing correct and if our stress levels were low enough lol
Told myself I wasn’t going to symptom check as chances not v high this month BUT I don’t feel right, feel funny and had mild stomach cramps all week get worse if I do loads of stuff, so been resting a bit. Felt dizzy and god could I have been sick when my DH ate Thai greeen curry 🤢 I know way too early, but when I was pregnant at 18years old I could pin point the moment I became so, as I felt so crap all the time.

Any tips on how not to think about it ALL the time?

Anisam87 · 27/10/2017 11:49

Hi Everyone,

Back on here after a BFP and then a chemical in Sept. Was so excited but apparently it's very common. DTD on 21st and feeling a bit bloated and gassy so i'm keeping my fingers crossed :)

Cycle #3
BFP due: 4th November

BandhaAid · 27/10/2017 12:11

AF due Wednesday but I've got light cramps and a bad mood today so probably not a good sign :-(

lindypops33 · 27/10/2017 12:54

Hi all,

I'm changing buses from October to November! I've had one AF since stopping the pill, am now on CD23 of whatever my cycle is! Just waiting really! It's excruciating as I don't really know when AF is due. So don't know when to test.

Excitablemuch · 27/10/2017 13:03

First time posting!
Age:34
TTC#1
Cycle 1

And first time trying! Came off pill a couple of months ago but November onwards is all good for job plans :)
Excited but a little concerned I'll get super disappointed when it doesn't just happen!! Must not get obsessed too quick! Just tracking periods in an app tracker at the mo!
Has been a long road to getting the husband ready for this so don't want to freak him out already!

PabloEscobarlo · 27/10/2017 13:42

Can I ask if anyone knows sorry if cottage cheese like cm Is a sign?

Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 14:08

Hi!! AF just showed up and ruined the party, so I’m jumping on the November bus, if that’s ok?

TTC no4
Cycle 2
Not a clue when I’m supposed to be ovulating? OPK said I did on 15th so I’m 12dpo now. Going to use OPK again this month and keep an eye on what’s going on ‘down there’ too, to see what’s occurring. Also, the obvious, lots of lovin’!

LostMyBaubles · 27/10/2017 15:05

Hiii
Another one wanting to join

Coil comes out on Wednesday
Had very faint opk positive line

Hi can I join?
Age 31
Ttc #1
Cycle #3
Next af due (or hopefully not) Nov 17th
Still relatively new to this so not charting or anything yet, just lots of dtd and hoping!

BandhaAid · 27/10/2017 15:44

@PabloEscobarlo That sounds more like an infection. I believe thin milky white or yellowish CM is often linked to pregnancy

MiniMinions · 27/10/2017 16:25

Hi all,

Hopping on!

Age: 34
TTC #2
Coming off the pill in a few days "AF" due end of the week

PabloEscobarlo · 27/10/2017 16:53

Oh no @BandhaAid

Bubblegum89 · 27/10/2017 16:56

Just jumping in here! I’m due af today and although it’s not shown up yet, I know deep down I’m not pregnant so may as well get on the November bus :)

Age: 28
TTC: #2
Cycle: 12

Anyone as far into ttc as I am?? Lol

BandhaAid · 27/10/2017 16:59

@PabloEscabarlo Yes, sounds like thrush maybe. Have you had itching and redness too?

Fia256 · 27/10/2017 17:11

Oh bless you @Bubblegum89 that’s a long time!

I’m sort of that far into it in terms of when we first started trying and still no baby. I’ve lost 4 though since we started 18 months ago so while getting pregnant hasn’t really been much of an issue, keeping them has!

Bubblegum89 · 27/10/2017 17:20

Oh fia that’s awful, I’m so sorry for your losses. I’m lucky (in a way lol) that I’ve not got pregnant at all in 12 months so not had to deal with any losses. I hope you get your sticky bfp soon!

SnoozyMcSnoozeFace · 27/10/2017 17:21

@PabloEscabarlo CM does increase in pregnancy too so could be a sign. You'd know if it was thrush because it'd be painful/itchy.

LostMyBaubles · 27/10/2017 17:22

Fia

That kept happening to mum
Have you had any extra medical input?
They started her on aspirin to help babies stick
And high dose folic acid

After a few losses shes now got a beautiful 4yr old

BlueeSpottyTiger · 27/10/2017 17:47

Hey new ladies! 🖑
Arghhhhh I'm on day 17 and still not had a postive opk! Usually i ovulate on cd13. The MC has messed my body up.. sighhh!
Thing is my opks have been like a medium darkness for a couple of days but not getting darker and I've also had ovulation pains for a few days too!? My chart is all over the place. I think I'm giving up on this cycle.. least I've dtd tonnes 😂 poor DP

Owlpatrol · 27/10/2017 18:24

Hi @Bubblegum89 how you doing? We've been ttc for 11 so almost as long..for baby 1 @Fia256 same as bubblegum havent lost any as such. Because I haven't done a pg test for a few months but two months ago I was a week late and that never happens!

Today been super crampy so I feel like af is due but it's so early in the tww as not due till next weekend
