Scorpio - Sorry your sds's mum is being difficult. Hope the weekend isn't too stressful. At least you can have a glass or two if needs be

Lexi - Listen to Scorpio, she seems to know what she's talking about ime!

Wurzel - you count your cd from the first day of your last period so if af hasn't showed up then you're on the same cycle as before, iyswim. Didn't she show up a couple of days ago? Or was that just spotting? Can't remember and off to bed now so will catch up tomorrow [sleepy head]

OMG!!! OMG!!
I just did another test just now and there is a very faint line on the stick!!!!!
My heart is jumping around inside!!
DH still in bed.
Damn it, no money to buy one from chemist til friday!!!
So no definate knowing til sat morning!!!
Yes Tigerschick i did havs 'something on sat eve/sun morning, but ti wasn't 'blood'.
Do i make apptointment with doc just in case or wait and see what other test will show???

well still no bleed but more cramps so who knows whats going on with my baby but i ve had all the signs of my old af so hopefully

i may have conceived gonna get some ovulation kits and im gonna pg test to

i hope your all ok and staying positive

Wurzel - Sounds interesting. It's up to you about the docs. Not sure what they would do yet. If you can bear to wait until Saturday you would get a darker line and be more certain, then you could go to the docs next week, either way.

Boobylicious - Hope your body does something soon to tell you what is going on. I know what it's like and frustrating doesn't cover it! When is/was your af due?

MrsMcJnr - Hope your boss is a little nicer today at least.

Scorpio - When is the impending visit due to begin? Don't stress too much if you can help it, it's only a couple of days then they'll be gone. And at least your dp will be home while you're ov-ing!

Imawurzel - wait until saturday.by then you will know whether to spend so much on a test, and if it is +, the line wont need extra interpreting-it will be clear!GP wont do much, their tests are only about 50miu anyway.how many days late are you? fingers crossed that this is it for you! (hold off the testing!be strong!)ps-if you are desperate i have a few tests i could send you in post today-cheapy ones though.

Boobylicious-any news??ov tests can be used as pg tests too, have a look at peeonastick.com, explains more there.

lexie - sorry to hear AF arrived. I was ridiculously late last month because of a d&v bug I had. My dd had been very ill with it and had gone into hospital so I now realise that the stress of all of it must have delayed it. Good luck for May.

hi there, can i join your may thread? Just got AF this mornin, last month had a m/c on 24th March so have been waiting for AF - thought there was a chance that I might get another BFP as had all the symptoms but here she is so its back to TTC this month. x

Wow Imawurzel that's so exciting! I agree with everyone else, I reckon you should try to wait till saturday, at least then you should get a more positive line and can go and see the GP to confirm first thing next week. I can't believe you were so restrained and didn't leap on dh to give him the good news!

Scorpio I'm so glad that you had a chat with your dp and are a bit more chilled out. Fingers crossed the new chilled you will have positive affects

I have informed dh that he needs to be on top form from this weekend until after the bank holiday. Tbh I don't think he could believe his luck, he's normally only used to getting it once every few months

Let's hope he can handle the pressure!

thanks hun, so am quite new to this charting/temp/OV thing, even though we have OV sticks, I used them ever since the m/c and never once did it say I OV'd, even though I know I must have. So, if I am on CD1 of my cycle today, does OV happen around 9-14 days, obviously I usually have a 28 day cycle but because of last month, this month has become a 33 day cycle? God, its confusing! Also started doing temps this month - so when there is a surge in temp, does that mean you are OVing? Sorry for all the questions!! X

temp going higher means you have ovd the day previous (or roughly).if your cycle is 28-33 days aim for cd11 - cd17 ish.you need to get the sperm there just before and just after ov for anything to happen!sorry im a bit rushed now oh and welcome!

Hi All Mumsnetters!

Have been lurking for awhile and have posted on a couple of conception threads. I too would like to join the May thread. I am CD 11 (I think I have got terminology right? 11 days since start of last AF)OV around now. Next AF due between 10 and 13th May. Eleventh cycle of TTC no2. DS conceived easily in third cycle last time round. Difference I guess being I was a bit younger and also not broody like I am now.

hi bobby, welcome, i have only just joined too and have been lurking for a little while, watching the TTC thread - so how long is your other lo? I know what you mean about being older and it seems to take longer when you are really trying? We conceived my ds without even trying, ds took 7 months and this is now our 4th month of ttc! Hi Sienna (I think of Sienna Miller when reading your nickname!) thks for the baby dust. DS is now 2yrs and almost 5mths. If we do get lucky this mth the next babe will also be a Jan one! Heres hoping . I think I am right in thinking you have 2 and have just had a M/C for which very sorry. Baby dust back to you too and everyone else. x
