i can hardly talk. i test all the time, even after afs been. just in case!

Thanks tigers and bbabymumma - still cautious though. Have a clearblue digital to test with tomorrow but I am only CD25 so it could still be a chemical pg. Annie, I am really keeping my fingers crossed for you. You have a short cycle like me so that's why it could be such a faint line. I would only be 4 weeks pg on friday, whereas most women are about 5 weeks when they find out. Of course that means we then have to wait a whole 3 weeks for a heartbeat scan but as others have pointed out - more times to ttc.

plummy I was only 4+1 when got bfp so understand the whole wait thing. They did scan on 4+3 - couldnt see much apart from gestational sac.. thats why i have the fab scan yesterday when saw bean heart beating away. I know it will seem like a long wait but it will pass. I am now waiting for the next 6 weeks to pass just to be able to relax a bit more. My ds on the other hand said tonight he wishes time would slow down so story time lasted lots longer!

Are you going to test again annie? Maybe in a couple of days? I tested with a clearblue digital this morning and it was positive so unless all those tests I've done are wrong, I definitely have HCG in my urine. Now I just have to hope it is a viable pregnancy. It is going to be a long 3 weeks. Sorry if I don't seem grateful, it's just that I'm scared of losing it.

can you push for an early scan? surely with an ep (that is you isnt it?) in your history they should give you one?

Thanks lissie - I can turn up myself at Kings epu but I want to wait til it's 7 weeks so that they can check for heartbeat. I think I will just be more preoccupied with the whole thing if I get an earlier scan as all it will tell me is that there is a blastocyst - nothing else. Of course, if I was to start spotting or bleeding, then I would go for a scan.

Isn't this awful.....last night I was reading a pregnancy book and it said high levels of HCG can be an indicator of a downs baby. So then I'm thinking what if my early positive tests mean that I've got high levels of HCG...........etc etc. Wtf? I have been praying for high levels of HCG to support the pregnancy and now I am finding reasons to worry if they are high. I really think I am losing it.

anniemac - A while ago I did a test and it was -ve so I threw it away. That night - over 12 hours after taking the test - dh and I were talking about it and I fished it out the bin (I know, I know) to show him and there was a VERY clear +ve on it. If it's after the 10 mins it doesn't count. Sorry

BTW - I got a bfn this a.m. - just tested out of curiosity so not really worried
