Hello all. Not hiding I promise After my last post dh needed the computer then I fell asleep on the sofa. Had to be at work at 7.30 and can't log on at work. Only logging on now as had to leave early to collect ds from nursery as they called me to say he's ill. Got tpr and sore eye - might be beginning of an eye infection. I did test again this morning with a cheapie and it was the same as the one I did last night. Still a faint pink line. I have a clearblue digital test to use tomorrow morning. I am CD25 so please continue to put me on the rollcall - I don't want to count my chickens (or should I say eggs!) Anniemac, I can understand how you were happy to see two lines on the ovulation test strip - this ttc business makes us go a bit loopy imo. Ironically this is the first month I bought ovulation test strips to use after my period (so of course my period hasn't come). Perhaps I should've done that the first month I was trying Thanks Sweetkitty - hope you get a bfp this cycle (and everyone else trying). Thanks also awen - so delighted about your scan. If (no when my pg is confirmed I will be so happy when I see a heartbeat). That will be my milestone as didn't get one during the pregnancies where I miscarried. Scorpio - are you going to do a digital? I was thinking (not that I want to be negative) that a digital is great but all it does is confirm that you are pregnant. I hear you all say doh, that's what it's supposed to do - what I mean is it's nice to see a strong line as consistently weak lines might indicate an ectopic. Having had one before, I'm a bit neurotic Maybe the answer is a digital first to confirm, then cheapies each week for reassurance. Hmmm >

oh plummy... {hug} i avoid digitals like the plague for that reason. i got a bfn with a CBD during my ep.

I got a bfp with cbd with my ep. Did they tell you what your hcg count was? Mine didn't go above 800 - and that was at 8 weeks pg.

mine was doubling wonderfully, went from 1000 to 2000 in 48hrs. the mw who did my bloods even said it looked like a viable pg, congratulations! turns out he was just a stubborn little malteaser

Hope everyone else is ok today. We've not managed much bding lately as we've either been exhausted or my parents have been staying - and I just can't get in the mood with them in the next room

anniemac - you need to hold on to your wee for at least 4 hours, try not to drink to much either. I took my tests apart too, your're not the only nutter!

I'm another expert at taking tests apart and holding them up to the light and squinting. I've been bad today and did a test (not due till Tues) but was very good and threw it away after 10 minutes. And only fished it out of the bin the once ... Neg, obv. Poor little bean is still trying to work out which bit of my womb looks the comfiest, I should think .

Another nutter here I remember the first time I used opks I was so excited I was ovulating (like I'm the only woman ever to ovulate) even after I got a BFP I must have tested about another 12 times just to see if I was still pregnant, I had 2 bad bleeds as well so had my first scan at 9 weeks and you could see an early face.

i'm not testing again for a few days; give af a chance to show up before i spend anymore ££!

my boobs hurt really bad, and im sicky and horrible and very queasy at certain smells.cheese and the thought of it wants to make me puke.i normally adore cheese.

although i have been ill last friday so maybe recovering from that, and sore boobs is pmt?

i just dont wana keep testing every day, it drives me mad.

anniemac. your 1st wee of the day has the highest concentration of hcg. a line is a line is a line. if it looks like a bfp and it sounds like a bfp then it prob is. (and it does sound like it)

anniemac - the same test you peed on at 11? dont look at it anymore, the line is prob an evap after this time,whether was bfp or not. pee again in the morning, and set an alarm for 10 minutes, so you know after that time that you have to throw it aaway and its no longer right. save your sanity woman!

there should be a law that you cannot do a test until the day AF is due would save all our sanities I have said I WILL NOT TEST UNTIL THE DAY AF IS DUE but we shall see

should be within ten mins.after that urine dries and allsorts of marks appear.

always disregard any lines you see after 10mins.

test on friday morning. if you are pg it will give the h\cg levels time to build up.
