Sorry about af soph73, sweetkitty & kaleidoscope, and for BFN meto. I had another BFN this morning, but still spotting very lightly (3rd day), which has never happened before. Completely confused by my body! Still half-hoping af arrives soon cos of antibiotics (as I said before). Have been feeling shivery & nauseous all day today - more due to the lymphngitis than possible pregnancy, I think. This is so weird!

Hello ladies I tested yesterday, 11dpo and got a BFN so I like the fact that only 51% get a BFP then. I plan to try again on Thurs at which point I?ll be 14dpo and 74% get their BFP then. We?ll see only got past 12dpo once before and I was pg but who knows what happening in this post MC body of mine getting some sharp pains in either side now so I guess it could be the lining dissolving

Pobletsmum ? how horrible about those bites!! That?s really nasty. I really hope you are ok.

Meto ? might be a bit early hon, fingers crossed you get the answer you want later in the week hope it was a line set to get much darker! sorry about the BFN today

Plummymummy ? fingers crossed for you too!

Hey Wheely hang in there!! My spotting never materialized.

Scorpio ? hope all that hard work pays off

Lissie you plan sounds fun!

Boobylicious ? always a good plan to have a test run just to get rid of any dead wood have fun!!

Soph73 ? I?m sorry hon, it?s always such a disappointment! Sending you hugs and hopes for this new cycle

Anniemac ? know how that feels, been there! Hope you get your miracle

Kaliedoscope ? I?m sorry, at least she saved you some money though. I really hope that this cycle is your lucky one

Sweetkitty ? all the very best for this cycle!

Hello Tigerschick

Never say never Flumpy!

Welcome McDreamy best of luck to you.

Hi all! I know I come and go a bit (in fact, was last here on 18th April!) but I do still try and check in to see how others are going.
I am now on CD18, so have the fun of the 2ww stretching before me! Although I started a thread a little earlier about OPK's and, depending on what happens with them tomorrow and Thurs there is a possibility I haven't actually ov'd yet, so might not have started 2ww yet after all!!
Anyway, sorry to hear about those BFN's

sweetkitty · 08/05/2007 21:11

this thread does move fast phew! sorry I think I was misunderstood last month we were still using condoms so am not surprised AF is here, this will be our first month of trying. Both times I've got pregnant we BD'd CD11 and CD19 (both times the only time that month - long stories) so it just shows you gals to keep up with the BDing. Months where we BD'ed every 2 days and used OPKs nothing, these little beanies will keep us guessing for sure.

McDreamy - hi welcome to the thread, another one going for number 3 what do you have already? also are you Scottish by any chance?

Morning All - CD29 here, expecting AF either tomorrow or friday. Having been quite hopeful (again !) over the last few days as have been feeling constantly nauseous awoke this morning feeling distinctly pre-periody. So probably off to June before the week is out.

pobletsmum · 09/05/2007 08:57

I am adding a day to everyone's CD count. Please let me know if it works (or if you want me to butt out!). I think some people might have been a day out anyway by the time I updated it????????

Soph73 · 09/05/2007 09:53

Morning all! MrsMcJnr how do you manage to keep track of everyone - amazing. Well it´s a bit of a strange day for me as AF seems to have disappeared and my boobs have turned rock solid - should I test or wait? Anyone have any advice? Kaleidoscope - I was commiserating with crisps and wine when I realised Also I have strange stomach ache, not like period pains though - weird. Of course that could be the crisps and wine I devoured last night

Scorpio - thanks for that info and hope the assignment´s going OK

sweetkitty · 09/05/2007 10:16

morning ladies I'm still trying to keep up with everyone

soph - I would test just to put my mind at rest but that's me and I am the most impatient person in the world.

Not much happening here am a bit glum today think it might be AF working her evil ways or I just feel a bit mmm about my lack of career today I don't know why I chose to give it up and I'm planning on having another baby but sometimes I just feel SO bored. Sorry for the whinge it's raining on and off here so cannot even take the DDs to the park, am off to buy some paint in a bit that's the excitement of my day!

plummymummy · 09/05/2007 10:47

Take a day off mine as I had already added Soph - like sweetkitty I am inpatient so would test also. Sweetkitty if it's any consolation I work full-time and on a daily basis I wish I could stay at home. I think it is difficult either way. Part-time work must surely be the best solution though the work has to be well-paid to justify the childcare costs.

plummymummy · 09/05/2007 10:49

Oh bugger - I meant impatient. Must have been a freudian slip - got work on the brain. Off sick today with a viral infection.

Soph73 · 09/05/2007 11:20

Thanks sweetkitty and plummy. I think I´ll test after work (as can´t get to a chemist until then). Sweetkitty, I also work full-time but the added adavantage is that me, DH and DS are all at the same place (we work in the school that DS goes to). Fortunately I also had 3 years maternity leave, which you´re entitled to here, unpaid of course and then DS started school and I went back to work part time initially and then full time.

I know today is just going to drag on and on because I desperately want to test now - I´m giving myself butterflies just thinking about it - aaarggghhh!

Also, I can´t tell anyone here because DH and I agreed that we wouldn´t let anyone know that we are even trying. I think I might flip out before the day ends!! Watch out all students

tigerschick · 09/05/2007 11:49

Hi All

Good luck Soph. I just checked your profile to see where 'here' is. Am so I'd give anything to be somewhere hot right now! Ah well.

Hope everyone else is ok today. Sorry, bit of a crap post but nothing really to add

Soph73 · 09/05/2007 12:03

Hi tigerschick. It went from winter to summer overnight! We went to the car at the end of school yesterday and it was 48 degrees (inside the car that is!) I thought I was going to melt before we made it home!! When I had DS it was 42 degrees in the maternity unit and they still insisted that you wrapped your babies up. I kept unwrapping DS, which is probably why he now won´t sleep with anything over him, not even in the winter!

Sorry to those of you who are being rained on at the moment!

Soph73 · 09/05/2007 13:18

Well, just to keep you all uptodate I managed to get to a chemists and its a BFN so I now have absolutely no idea what´s going on!

plummymummy · 09/05/2007 13:36

sorry to hear this but what cd would you be if you don't count the bleeding as period? Is it possible you could be testing too early?

plummymummy · 09/05/2007 13:37

Or test first thing tomorrow morning?

sweetkitty · 09/05/2007 13:37

aww Soph sorry about your BFN don't know what's going on there but sometimes my AF stops for a day then comes back again 3 years off for maternity leave sounds fab as does you all working in the same place, my DP is out the house 6.30am to 7pm 5 days a week which is hard sometimes. Am so at "here" as well.

I know the SAHM v WOHM debate the grass is always greener isn't it and I truly wouldn't want them to be in nursery full time, I do love being with them but you sometimes do feel like a bit of a nothing person if that makes any sense? DP has suggested I do an OU course just to engage my brain again don't know what he means (am off upstairs to sort out washing/read books and pretend to eat plastic food for the next hour ) better go can smell a nappy that needs changing (am not really selling motherhood to first timers am I) maybe we should add what we have already/first time ttc????

Plummy - I´d be CD35 if didn´t count it as period so I probably am testing too soon.

I must admit sweetkitty that by the end of 3 years I was really looking forward to going back to work as it was starting to feel as though my brain was turning to mush!! Now that I´m back I wish I was part time again you just can´t win can you I just have to keep thinking about the extra money I´m earning! It was lovely though to be able to wave DH & DS bye bye on the days when I wasn´t working, shut the front door behind me and have a cup of tea and watch the news in peace Those were the days!
