Yay congrats @mother !
I took another frer yesterday just for reassurance and it was so bright! Ahhh!

DragonsandDungeons · 02/09/2017 10:58

Happy for you Mother :)

UppityStitch · 02/09/2017 11:34

@Nubian9454 same thing happened to me last month. My normal 28 day cycle went up to 34. 3 BFN pregnancy tests later I realised the Pregnacare vits I was taking was the culprit. It's horrible just waiting for something to happen!

Nubian9454 · 02/09/2017 11:57

Uppity I use pregnacare vitamins. Have been since trying to conceive for last 5 months. HAve you switched to another vitamin? If so which one? I DON'T want to go through this again.

MotherofBoy · 02/09/2017 12:19

cupcakes no nothing at all! And my chart looks the same as every other month... I think my symptoms are no symptoms! Normally get sore boobs before af but boobs feel fine this month. Other than needing to wee a lot yesterday and cramps starting today don't really feel any different!

UppityStitch · 02/09/2017 16:24

@Nubian9454 I haven't switched as yet but I'm thinking about it. I've been taking them since TTC at the start of August. Didn't realise my cycle would be so long which resulted in me 'missing' my window.

Nubian9454 · 02/09/2017 17:40

Uppity it has been so good for me though. Helping with skin and hair as well. Don't really want to switch but I don't really want such a long cycle going foward

Karpuzkiz · 02/09/2017 19:06

Way to go mother so chuffed for you! Knew it! I've tested last few days, I still can't believe it! I think I will use the digital on Tuesday and maybe then I'll believe it?! I don't really feel any different but it was Alex that said about the not sleeping that made me think I could be! Apart from that no symptoms, so I think the no symptoms thing is a sign!

Sending baby dust to everyone else, routing for you cautious lady and nubian and others. Let's make this the best thread ever!

I started taking vitamin B this cycle so maybe that helped? I also stopped all exercise? I wonder if that made a difference? X

Stee1 · 02/09/2017 19:06

AF due today no sign negative tests 😑 x

MotherofBoy · 02/09/2017 20:11

Yes lots of baby dust to all, three bfps in as many days, this must be a lucky thread! Weird I too slept awfully last night... definitely makes it a symptom if three of us didn't sleep! I still can't quite believe it despite cramps and nearly fainting this afternoon 🙄 Keep staring at the test. I don't have any more tests tho so think I will just hold out.. might do my temp for a few more days til af date has passed.

Beansprout30 · 02/09/2017 20:23

Hi everyone, room for another?
We are ttc #2, periods just returned as ive been bf dd1 so I'm taking that as mother natures way of telling me we are ready for another!

Dd1 took 16 months to conceive and it was such a horrible, stressful time I really don't want to get obsessed again but I think I will if it takes that long a second time! I had acupuncture for three month before and convinced that's what did it. Just trying to think how my cycles were before, usually 28 days with late ovulation and short luteal phase, acupuncture got me ovulating bang on day 14 and that's when I caught.

Cd13 today and had egg white discharge so hoping my body is still ovulating day 14. We've dtd every other night this week and going for it later too. So hard as DH works away Monday to Friday which is added pressure.

This appears to be a lucky thread going by the bfps already, congratulations to those!

Stats are:
Age 34 :(
Ttc #2
dd 1 is 13 months
First cycle

One thing I'm panicking about if and when I do get pregnant is sleep deprivation in the early months, it nearly killed me with dd one and god knows how I'll cope with a new born and toddler who gets up at 6am!

Penny31 · 02/09/2017 20:28

I'm in a dilemma...dp's job is looking unstable and in 6 months he could be out of a job. I think he's going to start applying for others now. We couldn't afford mat leave if he didn't have a job. Do we keep trying or wait...I'm nearly 38 😭 Wwyd?

Beansprout30 · 02/09/2017 20:46

That's rubbish Penny, i think I'd carry on ttc though as irresponsible as that may be, things always have a way of working themselves out!

Nubian9454 · 02/09/2017 21:07

Thanks Karpuzkiz. Weird long cycle for me but cramping all the way as well as back pain. Positve opk again today but negative hpt. Have no idea what's going on and I feel like crying😣😓

Penny I would keep trying. I believe lie has a way of working itself out.

Welcome Beansprout

Baby dust to all you lovely ladies x

LadyPug · 02/09/2017 21:12

Hi Penny,

I agree with beansprout and would say that he will find another job, he could start looking now so you are prepared.

Welcome beansprout I'm the same as you almost exactly, first cycle, got a dd already (nearly 2) and 34. Great to have you here on our lucky board! :-)

Beansprout30 · 02/09/2017 21:16

Thanks for the welcome, good to have others to share the journey with. Did your dd take long to conceive?

LadyPug · 02/09/2017 21:18

No, only 5 months last time! Fingers crossed for it to be as quick this time, I think the ladies trying for so long are incredible

Beansprout30 · 02/09/2017 21:24

I was getting obsessed with ttc with my first, im sure the underlying stress was stopping us. Hopefully won't get chance to get stressed this time with already having a dd who's exhausting (but amazing!)

LadyPug · 02/09/2017 21:38

They are exhausting aren't they but worth every second. I also don't handle the early sleepless nights so well!

Unicorn22 · 02/09/2017 22:33

Woohoo mother congrats!! 3 positives and it's only 2nd sept!

Thanks for the support ladies, I tested today and bfn for me. AF is now 5 or 6 days late (starting to lose track!). Just wish AF would come if it's not meant to be. Keep your spirits up nubian but I do know how you feel.

Penny I agree with everyone saying to keep trying. You never know how life pans out!

Welcome beansprout my DD is 13 months too, likes to get up multiple times at night and up for the day at 6.30 - 7!

MynameisJune · 02/09/2017 22:52

Congratulations Mother, fab news. Fingers crossed for a smooth 9 months for you x

Hi Beansprout, we were ttc for 6 years with DD so completely understand how you can become obsessed. Hope this thread helps a bit.

Currently on cycle 5, had my 21 day bloods yesterday and I'm on the waiting list for a pelvic scan.

UppityStitch · 03/09/2017 00:11

Welcome @Beansprout30! I also agree with Lady, life always has a way.

@Nubian9454. How very odd? It's horrible not knowing either way. Hopefully a trip to the docs can give you some answers. I think most pregnancy vits might have the same issue as another lady mentioned it on another thread and she was taking Seven Seas. If you feel it's helping then stick with it, I am!

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 03/09/2017 00:17

I can finally make my way over from the August thread, AF showed up Grin so hopefully a BFP at the end of September depending on my cycle. Good luck everyone!

My stats are -

Age: 23
TTC #2
Cycle 3
DD1 is 3 (and starting school next week :( :( :( )

cautiousoptimist1 · 03/09/2017 07:06

Hi beansprout, I share your concern about potentially having a toddler and being pregnant/having a newborn. My LO is almost 15 months and much happier than she was as a baby but doesn't sleep much in the day (never has!) and is constantly on the go.

Penny, I agree with the other ladies and I'd continue TTC, you never know how long it's going to take.

June 6 years?! Wow, I think you're amazing!

Keeping fingers crossed for nubian and unicorn hope you get some answers soon.

Nubian9454 · 03/09/2017 07:08

Unicorn do you have any symptoms?

Uppity I think I might with it and see.
