Not holding out much hope! I'm testing out the CB ov tests as part of the mumsnet product tests. Peak was today and yesterday so we will see.

AF due 17th Sept.

Got a BFN on the date AF was due. Still no sign of AF & I haven't tested since.

@CoconutGal when was your AF due? I'd try testing again!

@Mrsjones17 the sessions will normally be an hour so not as long as yours so I guess we spent 40 mins talking this time?

@HolyShmoly no need to wait - it's just a nice positive helpful thing but doesn't need to be used to fix a specific issue

I'm sorry to see all the AF's and people having a sad and hard time this month 😔 Such emotional journey we're all on!

Can I ask a question that may seem really silly? I've always been really aware of when I'm ovulating as I get prominent EWCM (sorry for too much detail!) and I get quite a lot of pain too. This is the first month I've been mindful of my CM in relation to fertility though. Today is OVD and knew I wouldn't see DH until Monday due to work so dtd yesterday. If I see ewcm, does it just mean im ovulating and could I still get a bfp later this month? Sorry, think I'm thinking too much and getting myself really confused 😣

Ewcm means ovulation is coming. As it's better to get the sperm in there before ovulation ewcm is usually in the days before ovulation.

I'm out. BFN at 12dpo and AF arrived today.

Onto cycle 5...

I'm still going to stay on the bus, as next AF/BFP if it happens will be 30 September.

I'm probably going to avoid MN as much as I can though as I'm getting very anxious and emotional by it all and I think talking about TTC is making me worse. This really is an absolute rollercoaster isn't it ladies?

@PointeShoesAndTutus so sorry about AF. You're right to avoid MN if it is adding to your stress. There have been times when it has added to mine - I became a bit obsessed and thought of nothing but TTC so I deleted the app - and other times (like now) when it's helping me. Do what's right for you at this time. We'll be here whenever you want to rejoin. Hope cycle 5 goes well x

Dilemma...dp's job is looking unstable. I think he'll be ok for about 6 months but then I reckon the company he works for will fold. We wouldnt be able to afford the bills if I was on mat leave and he didn't have a job. We have to save for mat leave as it is. He is thinking about looking for something else. Wwyd? Would you wait until he got a new job before trying or would you carry on regardless? I'm nearly 38 so time is not on my side!

I'm extra cautious because he's been unemployed before and it took months to get something. We had to borrow money from family. It was an awful stressful time.

Ps im asking here because I'm on this bus and on the verge of ovulating and we're going to go for it! Lol

Just go for it @penny31 you could be waiting forever for the perfect time! Especially when you're late 30s!

I'm inclined to agree with Juney, you can't predict the future and there's never the perfect time.

10dpo today and tiny bit of blood when I wiped. Really hope it's not AF! It would be the shortest ever cycle if it was. 😞

@Penny I'd say go for it; nothing is ever a perfect scenario in life. There might be 6 months to find a new job if he starts looking now, which is a good amount of time. No-one knows the future, you just have to work with what you're given

@UnicornsandRainbows1 - AF due 2 days ago. I tested yesterday on a cheap one & it was a clear negative.

Morning all, Can I ask anyone who temps to have a look at my chart as I have only started temping this month and don't have a clue how to read it!! AF was 10th August and got positive OPK on 24th August! (There is a gap in data from 24-27th as I was away and forgot thermometer 🤒) What do you think? Does it look hopeful? Many thanks xxx

Are those oral temps? The pattern looks good but the temps seem low overall...?

No have been taking underarm temps as soon as I wake with a babymad thermometer xdx
