I'm nervous/excited Grin

AF due anywhere between Tuesday and Friday.. All being well and she doesn't show, I'll probably test next Saturday or Sunday.

Anyone else counting down the next week?

Betsy I'm waiting till next week to buy one.... I don't think I could resist if I had them in the house!

BabiesOnTheBrain1 · 20/07/2017 20:37

Thanks happy fingers crossed! I get married soon so hopefully it will happen before or I'll have to go to the GP to get something to stop my period or I'll be on for the wedding I think. I'm glad you're feeling fine and have had no more spotting Smile

Thanks Littlemiss I really hope so! Loved the feeling that I might have been pregnant, got a feeling that I'll be torturing my poor OH this cycle 😂

So sorry to hear that you're out too Betsy! Hopefully the gynae will be able to shed some light on it for you. You going to stick around here? Would be great to know how you're getting on!

Welcome to the mad house murree! You been TTC long?

Sorry if I've missed anyone out! There's so many of us now I'm struggling to keep up Grin

Murree that's usually my tactic too! Keep us updated.

Babies eek exciting that you're getting married. I was due af on our wedding day so had to get norethisterone. It's just my luck to get af on the one day in my life that I will wear a white dress! I remember the dr saying my blood pressure was a little on the high side - er yes because I'm getting married in a few days!

I'll definitely stick around here as I'm sure I'll need some support for the next cycle. I find that as soon as I get over the disappointment of getting af this is the most calm I am all cycle. Before TTC I never felt like that during af!

BabiesOnTheBrain1 · 20/07/2017 21:06

Yes Betsy I've used norethisterone before and it was great! My only worry is whether I'd be able to take it in very early pregnancy if I didn't know I was pregnant 🤔 I'm not sure how the dates will work out yet, but I know it's recommended to start taking it a few days before AF is expected to arrive. If that makes sense?

OP posts:
Betsyboo87 · 20/07/2017 21:26

Babies yeah that's a tricky one. I guess it's probably not recommended to take if you're pregnant. You could ask the dr for their advice when you go but then they might not give it to you if you could be pregnant. Ahhh why do our bodies have to do this to us!!

BabiesOnTheBrain1 · 20/07/2017 21:35

I might have a pop in to the chemist and see what the pharmacist recommends Smile can then decide with OH what is the best action to take!

I caved....BFN on a one step internet cheapy at 11dpo. Stark white BFN not even a squinter! I feel strangely okay about it, I am gonna wait for AF now. Don't see that point testing again tomorrow. I usually start spotting at least a day before AF shows so I'm expecting that to start either tomorrow or Sunday. I do have some better tests than those but I don't want to waste them so will wait and see what happens over the weekend/Monday.

BabiesOnTheBrain1 · 21/07/2017 08:08

Sorry to hear about your BFN happy, good that it hasn't got you down though Smile if AF hasn't arrived you're still not out (although like you I felt calm after my BFN, like I could just put it to the back of my mind and wait for AF instead of wondering). Don't forget this is only your first clomid cycle though! Fingers crossed for a BFP next month 🤞🏻

OP posts:
happybus28 · 21/07/2017 08:29

Yeah that's how I feel babies I actually feel less on edge than I did yesterday like I can just forget about it now and expect AF Monday. Yep I'll start my next lot of clomid day 2-6 so hopefully I ovulate day 14 again!!

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 21/07/2017 09:06

Sorry about the BFN guys BrewBig hugs xxx

I'm cd 28 today and my cycles are usually 32 days and I didn't ovulate until cd18 this month but I feel like I have AF type cramps and I feel 'wet' down there Blush Keep knicker watching expecting the witch to arrive soon :/ xx

Betsyboo87 · 21/07/2017 12:35

Boo to the bfn happy. I know what you mean about feeling on edge. I felt so much more relaxed this morning now that af is here and I don't have to stress about whether she's coming or not.

One of my OH's good friends had his second yesterday. So it was the worst day for af to come. He was really quiet all evening but seemed fine this morning.

shortcake76 · 21/07/2017 14:07

I've been keeping an eye on this thread since having to bow out on Wednesday. Sorry to hear of the BFN results and the arrivals of AF! Let's keep this going and support each other again next month.
Well went to my GP yesterday and have been referred to gynae. He was very good and said that he was going to say on my referral letter that we'd been trying for 2 years because of my age and cut off for support here is 42. Also, as I work for the NHS, he seemed to think I could get seen a bit quicker - we shall see. Had chat with hubby last night and he has a GP appointment on 31/07 and is going to have his semen tested to see whether there are any abnormalities there.

This AF has been particularly painful - not sure if it's because of all of the spotting before, but the cramping this month has been terrible. Took some painkillers last night and that didn't even touch it!

Good luck to those still waiting to test xx

Betsyboo87 · 21/07/2017 14:36

Shortcake boo to painful af. That's great that your gp has referred you though. It seems that with ttc gps can be a bit hit or miss - some will investigate sooner and others will tell you to "relax and it will happen". You must feel better that it's a step forward. It's definitely how I feel now I have an appointment booked. Hopefully it won't take long to come through. I'm pleased that you hubby is getting checked out too. I think us ladies put too much on ourselves and assume there is an issue on our side. Fingers crossed everything is ok with you both and your bfp is just around the corner.

I'll also be keeping an eye on this thread and I'll be back next month when it all starts again!

murree · 21/07/2017 14:52

Babies this is my first time TTC - so not holding out much hope!
Betsy I will keep you posted but I really dont feel like its happened Sad but its still early days.
AF is one evil witch!

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 21/07/2017 16:33

I was referred to the fertility clinic last year shortcake and I also work for the NHS but I had no such luck in getting an early appointment - fingers crossed for you though! Xx

happybus28 · 22/07/2017 08:16

Woke up to spotting as predicted so 99% sure AF will make her appearance within the next couple of days. Onwards to next month. Will be back here when the 2WW starts again!

Betsyboo87 · 22/07/2017 15:27

Oh no happy! I've actually read loads of times that ladies who spot still spot as usual when they get their bfp. It just never turns into af. Don't necessarily assume you're out but I know how disheartening it is.

I've start Vitex today to see if it has an effect on my spotting.

Florence16 · 22/07/2017 15:36

I'm the same as you Happy...bit of spotting yesterday PM but nothing since. Very confident AF will get me, we didn't DTD much this month and when I POAS on Thursday was BFN. Is there anyone else due to test who hasn't bowed out?

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 22/07/2017 16:00

I haven't tested yet! Had a nosebleed this morning (not had one since I was a child) and have a pounding headache...unsure whether they are symptoms tho, I'm probably just run down xx

MummysMaison · 22/07/2017 16:05

Hello,

I'm on CD28 today (usually 27-28days). Last night when I went to the loo there was light pink 'blood' on the tissue (sorry for tmi) It was very pale. I just assumed that it was the start of AF and put a pad in and went to bed. This morning....nothing at all, nothing when I wipe. What's going on? I never spot and always within an hour I'm at full flow. I haven't tested today, should I? Or hold off for another few days?

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 22/07/2017 16:13

Welcome mummys Smile** If your due AF today then I would have thought a pregnancy test would show up positive by now if you've conceived (although if it did show negative then that wouldn't mean you were out either).
Let us know if you decide to test - good luck xx

shortcake76 · 23/07/2017 20:20

Any updates?!! xx

happybus28 · 23/07/2017 20:32

Still spotting here, AF due tomorrow which is looking likely. BFN today and feeling AF is imminent!

murree · 23/07/2017 21:27

AF due Tuesday but have started having some dull cramps and my boobs are a little tender.... don't know if it is impending AF or not!
holding out till at least Tuesday to test though, keeping my fingers crossed Easter Smile

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 23/07/2017 21:56

AF is due tomorrow/tuesday - I keep having waves of nausea, dizziness and headaches the last few days, and pelvic cramps...probably AF on its way soon x
