Sorry to hear about the BFN's girls, it's so tempting to test. I removed everything from the bathroom last night to stop myself this morning! 🙈

It still sounds like there is hope for everyone though, we're not out until AF arrives! Sending positive vibes to everyone.

The spotting sounds like it could be positive @Californiadreaming15 - fingers crossed for you. I had the tiniest but of spotting (only when I wiped - TMI - again last night)

You are still firmly in the game @juneybean! When are you going to test again?

Love your positive attitude @HairyWorm!

Isn't it going slow @passmethewine123 - I am 8/9dpo & just want Friday to be here.

I decided (if I don't get a BFP) this month I need to come up with a copying strategy for TTC - I can't live myself in two week cycles. Any ideas?!

ally62442 · 30/07/2017 08:55

I officially started my TWW yesterday. Going to try and restrain myself with regards to symptom spotting! It's going to be hard trust me. 🙈 I've had sore nipples for the past two days which isn't unusual for me. So not thinking it's anything. I need to keep myself busy and distracted.

MissYeti · 30/07/2017 09:19

Morning ladies!
Sorry to hear about all the BFNs :( fingers crossed for next month!
@lovepinacolada luckily I'm going on holiday for one of my two projected weeks this month! What sort of things distract/interest you?

Did an opk this morning, after two faint lines it's completely disappeared. Will test again this afternoon but was just wondering if that's normal as this is my first cycle using opks. I have no idea what to expect!

Janefx40 · 30/07/2017 09:42

@MissYeti I'm not sure but if the control line has also disappeared maybe it's a faulty test? Could try again in 4 hours?

@LovePinaColada I'm rubbish at distracting myself during 2WW. I have got marginally better over the months (although I hope you all get BFPs before you have time to get used to it).

I know it's boring but keeping notes of all my symptoms (every twinge and cramp etc) has helped me because I can look back and see whether something is a normal part of my cycle or not.

There was so much about my normal cycle that I noticed when TTC that you never noticed before - e.g. For me mild AF cramps start 4-5 days earlier - I'd never noticed before as they are mild. But when first TTC I hoped they were a symptom of pregnancy.

Doesn't relieve the disappointment of a bfn but it does stop me going nuts over every twinge

HairyWorm · 30/07/2017 09:54

Lovepinacolada Not exactly a coping strategy but having something non pregnancy friendly to look forward to booked for just after AF is due is good. I'm thinking something like a boozy dinner or treating yourself to something you couldn't eat when pregnant. I think it softens the blow a bit.

Loosemoose28 · 30/07/2017 09:57

I thought I knew my body well but this ovulation I can feel my entire uterus not just my ovary. Equally not had any pinky loss around ovulation which I did on the pill. Unless its all related to my surgery and next cycle will be different again. Hers hoping this one isnt 43 days.

Hello tww.

MissYeti · 30/07/2017 10:48

@janefx40 sorry I realise I wasn't very clear. The last two days I have had 2 very faint second lines but this morning there was no second line :/ according to ovia app my fw is due to start tomorrow so I assumed my lines would get steadily stronger

Shanners123 · 30/07/2017 11:14

Sooo I'm waiting for AF to show up either today or tomorrow. 🙊 although because of my strange cycle I'm currently cd27 and only 7dpo according to fertility friend. So I do think she will appear.. (but hoping not!) temp dipped this morning which is either a sign she's on her way or implantation dip which does normally occur at 7dpo apparently.
So I'm expecting the worst but hoping for the best! Will let yas know.
Whats worse is I was hoping to get out to the garden and keep myself busy all day but it's now lashing with rain!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 30/07/2017 11:18

@MissYeti I think I'd go by Ovia just to cover yourself just in case. It might be that perhaps there was a surge a day or so before the faint lines maybe? When did you first use the OPKs because I can't quite remember Smile

MissYeti · 30/07/2017 11:36

unicorns started testing on 27th.
27th - nothing
28th - v.faint 2nd line
29th - v.faint 2nd line
30th - nothing :/
Cycles have been fluffed since Feb. E.g. last one was 23 days, the one before was 36!

Sophiathesecond19 · 30/07/2017 12:34

My Ovia app thinks today is cd1 for me, but actually on cd33. I think it's 9dpo, trying to hold out to test as long as I can.

ally62442 · 30/07/2017 13:56

@MissYeti I'll attach a pic of my OPKs and see if that helps you. I know I was searching the net like crazy. Trying to see what's normal etc. Mine where extremely faint most of the time and I never got a true positive just a bright negative for two days which has now gone fainter and fainter. I reckon I had my LH surge during the night between CD16 and CD17. I think if the surge doesn't last very long it can be easily missed.

How do you ladies take your temp every morning? Probably an odd question. But what kind of thermometer do you use and do you take it at the same time every morning or when you wake up regardless of the time?

MissYeti · 30/07/2017 14:47

@ally62442 thanks love, that helps a lot!

juneybean · 30/07/2017 14:59

@pixieinlove I use a bbt thermometer from eBay / amazon I'll try and find the link later.

I was taking it orally but I'm a mouth breather and it can cause fluctuations. So this cycle I swapped to vaginal! Not pleasant but chart looks better!!

I basically set an alarm for the earliest point that I wake up (which for me is 4.30) and before doing anything I turn the thermometer on and shove it in my mouth/foof and enter it into my app.

pixieinlove · 30/07/2017 15:03

Thanks @juneybean even a pic would be great. Living in SA we can't order things from Amazon or EBay. Sure I could find one here just need to know what it looks like Grin

juneybean · 30/07/2017 15:21

See if this works... It's got to be accurate to two decimal places.

HolyShmoly · 30/07/2017 15:55

Juney are you still tracking your heart rate through the cycle? How are you finding it? I've only had my fitbit hr for a month and it doesn't seem to be following any real pattern that I can see.

Also, does anyone know where to get red raspberry leaf tea, or can I make it from normal raspberry leaves? I've read that it can help thicken your uterine lining.
I'm going to try everything this month and hope something works! Timewise, this would pretty much be the perfect month to conceive, as we would have the three month scan and any other tests done before we go home for Christmas.

juneybean · 30/07/2017 16:08

I am @HolyShmoly ... it still goes up following ovulation then tends to plateau a bit. Annoyingly it's dropped today (9dpo) so not sure what that means, especially when my temperature is still high!

IntelligentPutty · 30/07/2017 16:19

Tracking hr on Fitbit too. It seems to drop at ov then rise sort of steadily until days before af when it drops slightly. .

Did same when was of before miscarriage 2 months ago. But kept rising. No drop.

juneybean · 30/07/2017 16:23

@IntelligentPutty how much did it rise in first two weeks following ovulation when you got your BFP?

Fia256 · 30/07/2017 16:56

Hi all, I'm completely new here, and quite frankly haven't got a clue what board I should be joining so taking my chances here hoping I've got the right one!
I'm almost certain I'm out this month as getting bfns and had spotting today. AF due on weds and all pregnancies in the past I've had bfp by now!
Will spare the rest of the details in this message just incase I'm joining the wrong board here! But could certainly do with having others who are going equally crazy each day symptom spotting and waiting for AF to show up in the next few days!
Xx

LovePinaColada · 30/07/2017 17:22

Don't know what made me do it (I've gone crazy) but I just POAS & it was a glaring white BFN! My AF isn't due until Friday or Saturday but I still feel pretty sad - starting to think it's really not my month. 😩 It was a First Response too. 😥

juneybean · 30/07/2017 17:24

@LovePinaColada it's too early!!! and even worse if it wasn't FMU! plonker

Welcome Fia

pixieinlove · 30/07/2017 17:27

@juneybean thanks so much. I think if AF shows up next week. I'll definitely be checking my temp next cycle.
