July bus - jump aboard!

Thought I'd start a July bus, I'll be due to test around the 3/4th (because I'm impatient mostly). Fingers crossed for us all!

@Emz01 I'm going to have another go at testing today. I think I didn't dip it for long enough last night as I had enough time to wash my hands and get something to eat, when I went back to check it a line hadn't appeared so I picked it up/tipped it and then the test line showed up. It says on the instructions that if the test line doesn't appear within 3 minutes to disregard and retest so that's what I'll do today.

mrsjones and withcheese how are you doing? I poas 6 or 7dpo and of course got a bfn... whoops!

misswitch maybe you could track temp next cycle if you don't get a bfp. I'm thinking of doing that if j don't get my bfp this month.

ally yes you never know. I had dc1 from one 'accident' .

I now can't test again till Tuesday as I am away camping. At which point 10/11dpo should be picked up by a frer?

This cycle me and OH had planned to dtd every other day so we'd catch O day without stressing ourselves out with tests and timing and all that. I feel I've stuck to that pretty well, but as soon as the app predicted my fertile window was over, Husband has not wanted sex at all. It's so annoying, especially as I don't know when I ovulate and the app could be wrong. Next cycle, I'm going to plan to dtd every other day again, but this time not show Husband the app!

@MissWitch I think I'm just going to wait for my AF and if it doesn't appear I will test. Unless I have some really strong symptoms before hand. My cycles range between 28-31 days. Fingers crossed the once was enough. I use an app called Clue I haven't done any ovulation tests or anything. I just went off my fertile phase on there. An due to work etc we only managed it the once which was 3 days before my predicted ovulation day. I've read sperm can survive a while. So fingers crossed some made it.

I wonder how long it would take for any symptoms to show? X

Mamasbook I'm good thanks. Not sure how positive I'm feeling about bfp as we missed some crucial few days when DH was away with work. Fingers crossed. Is it today you're going to see your friend's little baby?

Men! (And this isn't aimed at DH) Without going into the wethertos and the whyfors, he took a couple of workmates to London for a gig. They completely misdirected him twice, taking him 45 minutes out of the way each time. They missed their dinner reservation and they ended up eating at some place called 'Chicken Cottage' , which has given him food poisoning and the poor bloke has been holed up in the bathroom. Obviously we aren't going to be TTC while he's not feeling well so those men have made my man unwell and put serious spanner in our baby plans!

@MissWitch did you have better luck with the test today? I get the 'One Step' pregnancy tests and ovulation tests from Amazon and they've worked pretty well so far. They're pretty cheap too - I got 30 ovulation tests for about £4 delivered.

Joey that's frustrating that as soon as the app showed end of fw he didn't want it all all. For next month, you're right to say nothing and just try every second day from day 10 to 20 to be on safe side

Oh no minimummy I've had food poisoning a few times and it's awful. Hopefully he'll "get it all out of his system" so to speak in 24hrs and you can start again

joeybee that's so annoying. Its good your DH has shown an interest but I wouldn't show him the app next month if he won't dtd after your FW. I'm planning on dtd every day until AF or bfp if at all possible as I just don't know what's going on with my cycles and ovulation.

mama I've never done temperature tracking. I wouldn't even know where to start! I'll look into it if I need to but I tend to get a bit obsessed about these things which could end up just stressing me out.

minimummy I tested again this morning and had the faintest second line. I don't know if I could have already ovulated or if I'm just not as close to ovulation as I thought. Is it possible to not ovulate at all but have symptoms of ovulation? Aargh it's all so confusing! Hope your DH feels better soon- hopefully you managed to dtd enough already this cycle. Sounds like a nightmare. You ought to contact environmental health/food hygiene or whatever and let them know that your DH got food poisoning from a restaurant. They should go and inspect it.

ally I can't remember when I started to get symptoms with my 2 previous pregnancies but I definitely did 'feel' pregnant before I tested, and I also got pregnant in the first month of trying, I was 17/18 with DC1 and 22 with DC2 so maybe I was just super fertile as I was much younger. Only problem is my last pregnancy was nearly 5 years ago and you forget all the little things. And now I'm that bit older I'm worried it's going to be harder to conceive.

I no previously when I haven't been actively trying and me and my partner have had an accident and I've thought OMG I must be pregnant because I became so conscious of every little thing my body was doing. I just don't want to be imagine things. It will be a long two weeks if I do just for my AF to turn up! X

It is cheese and I am so excited for baby cuddles!! Highlight of the day so far goes to finding a old recipe Lucozade today. The only one I found in town. Literally made my morning!

Question for anyone who's been pregnant before: can you tell any difference between PMS symptoms and pregnancy symptoms in the 2ww? My boobs are really sore (but they always are with PMS), I'm feeling quite weepy and irritable (again same for PMS).

Afternoon everyone. @mamasbookdbabynumber2 9dpo today. Feeling decidedly NOT pregnant. No symptoms what so ever. I'm thinking I'm out this month. What's the lucozade thing?

Hows everyone else??

withcheese like I said it's been a while so can't remember everything but I had very sore boobs (this was much more than pms, DH could not go near them, even my clothes felt like sandpaper being rubbed against my nipples. Also got really dark and massive areolas and they were very veiny). I had mild cramps and pink spotting. I usually get brown discharge before periods so this must have been a sign of implantation bleed. And I also remember my wee smelled funny. Didn't have any nausea until 6 weeks-ish.

withcheese And mrsjones I just really love Lucozade and they changed the recipe and it's grim and I found one of the old recipe bottles and was quite excited.

Yes will enjoy the newborn baby cuddles later.

I posted about try when dp not as enthusiastic and got a very abrupt and pretty rude response.

cheese when i was pregnant with dc1 I was very constipated and just felt ill. Then this time around when i was ttc I had a very soft cervix and lots of ewcm.

Thanks misswitch and mamasbook that sounds quite different to what I have. I think it's just a severe case of wishful thinking 😂 7dpo (I think) and counting 🚼

I'm having really prominent and awful period pains today. I'm only 6-7dpo. Periods not due for ages. I'm on cycle day 23

Mama could it be ovulation pains? I sometimes get random period pains throughout my cycle but this is the first month I've started tracking ovulation etc. so don't know for sure when I get them or how often. It could be normal for you but because you're keeping track and on the look out for any signs you're just more in tune with it?? On the other hand it could be implantation pains, I had cramps when I was pregnant before I tested, exactly like period pains. They were fairly mild but I get awful cramps when I have my period so it was just mild compared to what I usually had/pain threshold.

Hi misswitch I'm pretty certain I ov on cd 17/18. And so that makes today 6 or 7 dpo. Could be implantation pains but don't want to get my hopes up
