Thought I'd start a July bus, I'll be due to test around the 3/4th (because I'm impatient mostly). Fingers crossed for us all!

Good morning ladies Brew

How are we all today?

This thread gave me a giggle when i woke up Grin

alex it's your big day and don't let any small details stress you out. You've worked hard to plan your wedding so try and enjoy you and your partners day Star

According to Amazon my tests shall arrive today Grin

I am now 4dpo and thinking I should stop counting down as it will get my hopes up so that of I don't get a bfp the fall will be greater. Hmm

Mrsjones17 · 28/06/2017 09:59

@withcheeseplease that's good that you've relaxed more. I'm hoping I can!

@mamasbooksbabynumber2 are you going to stay strong if they arrive or test?

I've got more cramping today like AF so thinking that I'm out. Feels more like AF but just not sure. I'm 7dpo today. Trying hard not to symptom spot but it's difficult when I'm sat bored out my mind marking exam papers haha!

Emz01 · 28/06/2017 10:06

Morning ladies.

Feeling very frustrated this morning. DH had a very stressful day at work yesterday so didn't want to DTD. Had loads of ewcm so was feeling very annoyed, basically went to bed after arguing about it. I did do an opk yesterday afternoon and it was negative although darker than others previously so hopefully we haven't missed our chance. Still getting ewcm so FX I get a positive today or tomorrow and we can make up for it.

@AlexsMum89 I know it's stressful planning a wedding but it was honestly one of the best days of my life and would love to do it all over again (obviously with DH). Everything will be fine I'm sure!

@WithCheesePlease Never used glow app and from what you have said I don't think I ever will. Like you would rather stick with MN.

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 28/06/2017 10:06

mrsjones I'm going to wait till Wednesday!

It's my day off today so I'm going to go clean the house and apply for jobs. Brew

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 28/06/2017 10:09

emz this was me and dp last week arguing about him not being able to come Blush my poor dp!

Fx you can make up for it. Xx

Mrsjones17 · 28/06/2017 10:15

@mamasbooksbabynumber2. Oohh exciting!! Good luck

Mrsjones17 · 28/06/2017 10:22

Also little advice please what do you think?....
Been invited on a hen do next Feb. I know the bride to be very well and a few girls going but not most of them. It's 2 nights away with 'activities' and lots of drinking. They live in a different part of the country to me so will have to make my own way there and they are all traveling together...it's 250 for 2 nights away in a northern city. Firstly I feel it's quite expensive but more so wishful thinking could be that I won't be able to drink and be a total part pooper. I realise I can't keep putting things off 'just in case' however if I say yes now and then can't go later it would mess everyone around. Am I better off just not going? She didn't come to mine but that doesn't have much baring if I'm honest

juneybean · 28/06/2017 10:52

That's a tough one mrsjones I know what you mean about not putting things off just in case. Do you have to put a deposit down now?

Mrsjones17 · 28/06/2017 10:58

@juneybean yes £150. 😕

juneybean · 28/06/2017 11:13

Urgh that's a lot to lose if you can't go. Depends how much you want to go if you're unable to conceive by then? I wouldn't go but then I hate hen dos haha, someone always falls out with someone else!

Mrsjones17 · 28/06/2017 11:15

@juneybean I know what u mean. I hate being sober when others are drink too. Even if I was lucky

Emz01 · 28/06/2017 12:02

@Mrsjones17 tough choice! Is there an option to go for just one night? Or would one night not be worth it?

Having loads of ewcm today and opk still isn't positive?! Not sure what to think.

July bus - jump aboard!
juneybean · 28/06/2017 12:05

Keep testing emz surge can happen quickly and you could miss it, I usually get mine late at night.

Mrsjones17 · 28/06/2017 12:23

I'll just think about it over next few days. I know how I love s good symptom spot...sorry for tmi but lots of watery cm today???

Emz01 · 28/06/2017 12:24

Thanks @juneybean I've been testing twice a day recently, once in the morning and once in the evening. Will test again later and see what happens.

juneybean · 28/06/2017 12:29

What DPO mrsjones?

emz around ovulation I end up using up to 5 a day trying to catch the surge haha.

WithCheesePlease · 28/06/2017 12:37

MrsJones I know it's hard to think that far ahead and hope for the best - it's a bit mad that they're asking so soon though! Ideally, you'd like to wait and see over next couple of months if you are pg, and how far along you are, before deciding. Is there any way you could say you have a lot going on, and could you come back with an answer in a few months? If she needs an answer now, then you're forced into 'no'

If it makes you feel any better, we have 2 family weddings just announced (as in siblings!!) - one next May and one possibly April. I'm here thinking will I be pregnant or will I have a tiny baby!

Mrsjones17 · 28/06/2017 12:49

I'm 7dpo today 😟

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 28/06/2017 13:51

I'd not go to the hen weekend mrsjones and say its too much money. (I don't like hen dos!) 😁

I have spent all day cleaning the house and even reorganised the pitch cupboards ha!

A week today to test...

MissWitch · 28/06/2017 14:04

@withcheeseplease that reminds me of a bloke my husband used to work with. He was bragging to everyone about how every time he has sex with his partner she gets pregnant. So twice in about 6 years.
I didn't know if I should feel sorry for him or applaud him!

MissWitch · 28/06/2017 14:06

@withcheeseplease
Sorry meant this reminds me:
Just saw one there, announcing her pregnancy with the words "we were trying to conceive for a month, feeling beyond blessed😍😍💕💕". And I'm like erm.. a month?... so you had sex a couple of times, wow that must have been tough. But all the replies are "wow that's amazing, congratulations!!!". I wouldn't mind if she said something like "can't believe it worked first time".

MissWitch · 28/06/2017 14:13

@mrsjones I wouldn't go to the hen do, then again I'm like @juneybean in that I don't like hen do's. Also that's a lot of money if you then can't go. Would you be able to participate at all if you're pregnant in Feb, you said there are activities- is it like relaxing spa stuff or more adrenaline fuelled cliff jumping type activities?

WithCheesePlease · 28/06/2017 14:18

misswitch 😂😂 so twice in about 6 years love it, haha!

WithCheesePlease · 28/06/2017 14:20

emz sorry, that is so frustrating, a lot of times life can get in the way. That's why I hate when people say "just relax, and I'm sure it will happen"... oh really, will it happen without having sex? 😂

MissWitch · 28/06/2017 14:30

Emz I don't get it at all, when we don't want sex all men do is harass us for it and when we want it they decide they don't! I was just speaking to my DH about this earlier as I think he's feeling a bit of fatigue taking a bit longer to get in the right place, if you know what I mean
Sex is actually very good for de-stressing though, so your DH would definitely benefit from it, if you can convince him that is. How about morning sex? I find it's usually more relaxed and natural in the morning as most men wake up ready.
I also think that sometimes doing these ovulation tests can cause more stress and urgency which is going to make it so much harder to just relax and get into it (for both parties). Could it be that your DH is feeling a bit of performance anxiety/pressure and is using stressful work as an excuse?
