Thought I'd start a July bus, I'll be due to test around the 3/4th (because I'm impatient mostly). Fingers crossed for us all!

Ooo wow have an amazing time melody perfect relaxation! And congratulations on your marriage Smile

WithCheesePlease · 27/06/2017 09:31

bluespottytiger I'm not sure if it's willpower or just madness to think I'll be able to wait that long... We'll see!

Alex sorry to hear that.... hope there's still a chance, or if you have a short cycle you might still be able to join us on this July bus at the end of next month?

Wow melodypond that's exciting, have fun!

Mrsjones17 · 27/06/2017 10:53

@alexsmum89 sorry to hear that but still hold out for AF!!

@withcheeseplease have you held out or did you cave and test??

#melodypond17 wow congratulations have an amazing time!

@mamasbooksbabtlynumber2 I has stitch like pain yesterday. Very mild cramp this morning. I was absolutely exhausted this morning really struggled to get up nearly was late for work and I'm starving! Can't decide if that's symptom spotting or just after training last night haha! I had a massive meal last night at 8.30pm so should be that hungry this morning?! Already eaten 3 weetabix 2 apples a yoghurt and 3 biscuits! Maybe I'm just being a pig haha!

AlexsMum89 · 27/06/2017 11:05

AF is due tomorrow so I know there's still a chance but I'm just kidding myself. AF will arrive right in time for my wedding day so I will have to spend all day working out how to change a tampon in a massive dress.
I think it's best for me to stop hoping as I'm just crying every other day at the moment when I suffer some kind of disappointment

WithCheesePlease · 27/06/2017 11:12

MrsJones oh no I'm not expecting AF until 7th July (at the earliest). I'm just planning way ahead!

Ah Alex I'm so sorry to hear that Flowers. It sounds like you're under a lot of pressure, esp with wedding coming up so soon! I know it's easier said than done, but try not to let it ruin your day if possible. Planning a wedding and TTC are some of

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 27/06/2017 11:12

alex I'm very sorry to hear this. Try not to let it overshadow your wedding day Flowers

mrsjones haha that made me laugh. Heh are you planning on testing? My bff had her baby today and I'm so happy for her. Baby is gorgeous and is adding to my broodiness Shock

Reading threads about planning how you will work out finances when u have a baby and we haven't gone massively into it otherwise it would never happen. Is this irresponisble? I had dc1 on my own and coped financially.

WithCheesePlease · 27/06/2017 11:13

Planning and wedding and TTC are some of the most stressful things ever to go through

Mrsjones17 · 27/06/2017 12:35

@alexsmum89 oh you've got so much on! When do you get married? Getting married is stressful enough without anything else in the mix!
@mamasbookbabynumber2 I don't know about testing...AF is due on 3/4th July... I think I could take a frer at the weekend but don't know if I dare!! In regards to finances we did have a look before but not in massive detail. The only thing we did go into detail with was how much my wage would change re maternity so we know how much we need to cover. In an ideal world I would like to go back to work part time or not at all if we could but don't know how it will work out until it happens. I genuinely think you cut your cloth to meet your needs etc. We saw the bill for my friends little girls child care and my DH nearly passed out lol! It was £560 a month for 3 days a week!! So may not even be worth it for work! We can't have help from my mum because she is a nurse so a shift worker!

WithCheesePlease · 27/06/2017 12:48

MrsJones there really should be more opportunities for going back to work part time, or even 4 days a week permanently. I don't know how we've gotten to the year 2017 without most companies providing this. It would be ideal for so many parents.

Mrsjones17 · 27/06/2017 12:52

@withcheeseplease I'm a teacher so it's not too bad if they can get the timetable to fit. I'm already going down to 4 days a week in September to help with stress levels etc so hopefully it might all work out?! Who knows

WithCheesePlease · 27/06/2017 13:18

Oh that's brilliant if they can arrange it. Also better for them than losing a teacher 😊

VisionsofJohanna · 27/06/2017 14:26

Hi all, checking in again. Not sure we ended up dtd enough at the right time... typical! Due to test 6th/7th July (my bday present)... have had some cramping and am knackered but I'm trying desperately not to symptom spot and drive myself mad. Hope everyone else is doing ok. @alexsmum89 congrats on your wedding!

MissWitch · 27/06/2017 14:29

Alexsmum89 sorry to hear about your bfn but don't lose hope. Even if AF does arrive before your big day try not to let it overshadow it. I saw a post on FB a while ago about wedding dress hacks. There was a tip involving stepping into a bin bag with a gold cut out of the bottom.

melodypond congratulations. Have a fantastic time!

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 27/06/2017 14:56

Just ordered myself a pack of 2 frers on Amazon for only £6.25! Getting prepared Grin

I usually spend a fortune on testing and feeling excites about testing next week!! Come on bfp!!

Mrsjones17 · 27/06/2017 15:11

@mamasbooksbabynumber2 I looked at them last night haha! When are you testing?? Shall we be testing buddies seen as we seem to have done everything else together haha!!

WithCheesePlease · 27/06/2017 15:24

Hi visionsofjohanna welcome back. Yeah it can be hard to know if you did it at the right time. I'm due around the same time too (ish)

Mrsjones17 · 27/06/2017 16:27

@withcheeseplease when are you testing?
Ovia says to wait another 6 days! 😲
It's ridiculous I know but I'm so nervous about testing this month. I've met my head get too much in the game I think. Should I wait for ovia or test before? My DH is nights this week and next so if I tested next Monday like ovia said either would a) have to wake him up in excitement (hopeful!!) Or b) wake him up to console me (more likely!) What do you think?

WithCheesePlease · 27/06/2017 16:30

mrsjones I'm testing either 6th July with DH, or going away for weekend (without him) and then testing with him when I come back on 10th July. I don't know - I think maybe wait as long as you can, so you don't get disappointed, when it could be just too early?

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 27/06/2017 16:43

I would love to mrsjones! I am testing on Wednesday 5th and I'll be 11dpo :) and it will be cd28. I think if I test any earlier than 11dpo it will be pointless.

How many dpo are you mrsjones?

Mrsjones17 · 27/06/2017 16:44

Hmm maybe should just hold out. Ovia has predicted period when I would be 14dpo. Is that right???

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 27/06/2017 16:46

Probably. I seem to ov on cd17/18 Of a 28/29 day cycle.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 27/06/2017 17:46

mama thats a great price!!
I stocked up last cycle when they were bogof in boots so i got 4 for 10.49 🖒
I have 35 IC's waiting.. I'm only 4dpo and itching to test already 😂😣

Mrsjones17 · 27/06/2017 18:58

So after looking on countdown to pregnancy website it seems even with a first response 6 days sooner the % that got a positive (a feint one at a that!) that were pregnant only goes to the most common result at 11dpo. That would put me at Sunday. So not testing until at least then. That's what I'm telling myself anyway!

Mrsjones17 · 27/06/2017 19:04

@mamasbookbabynumber2 I'm 6dpo today. AF due on 5th according to ovia

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 27/06/2017 19:08

Thanks blue nothing like being prepared Grin

mrsjones that a not too far away Smile Sunday is only 5 more sleeps.
